Hi i have been trying ot figure this out for a while on my Diamond well technically its a FUZE. Everytime i try to send and MMS it just goes right to the outbox and stays there. i have tried sending several different ones with different picture sizes and they are all there sitting in my outbox and im not talking about taking like 30 mins like a month and they are still there can anyone Please hlep me figure this out.
Im also having the same problem.. Only stuck in the outbox..The opearator says i will get the configuration sms but i do not get it. While other phone will have no problem..
Not sure this is your problem, but it's worth a shot..
1. Go to your Messages tab
2. Press "All Messages"
3. Press "Menu"
4. Press "MMS Options..." (last option in the menu)
5. Press the Servers tab
6. Select your Provider and keep it on screen that comes up.
7. Go to your Provider's website (preferably on your computer)
8. Search for their MMS settings (or just google it, ie. AT&T MMS settings)
9. Compare those settings to the ones you have and make sure they match up
.
just check your mms settings
sometime there is only one thing not correct in the settings

i use outlook on my Tilt, when i get email i get a pop like notification every few minutes, and i can selet dismiss or view(or something like that) is there a way to stop that notification popup? also i have my phone light set to turn off after 2 minutes, which it goes into a standby type mode, basically the same thing as when you hit the power button on the right side once how it stand byes until u hit it again, when it does that i cant receive messages, my send/receive is set to check every 5 minutes, but with it in this standby type mode it wont send/receive to get new messages until i basically wake it up, is that a way to get it to send/receive while in this mode?
for your first question: SEARCH THE FORUM !!!!!!!
just kidding (but if you do you'll find your question answered a few times...):
You have to go to Settings/Personal/Sounds and Notification, select New e-mail from the combobox and uncheck the box saying "Display message on screen"
For your second question: I don't know but there are more people complaining about this
thanks man, appreciate it, i guess i had to make things more complicated than they really are lol
I have the same problem. My device (TyTn II) is set to download mails "as items arrive" from my Exchange server. I always have my device in standby-mode using VJDevicelock. The problem is that when it is in standby it doesn't receive e-mails. I then wake it up and suddenly get a barrage of mail.
Search the forums, there was a long thread on this that has sort of died out. Basically, the fix has been identified (we think) and is in the KaiserTweak app. Basically, get the latest xml version of KaiserTweak, and in there are options for "Notifications": change the values under notifications to somehting other than 1 second, and it should fix the problem. Also, it could be a result of having the HTC Home screen installed (if you're using a tilt and installed it as a separate app), the Task Manager seems to contribute to this issue as well (disable it by going to task manager and uncheck the "Enable Quick Menu on Today Screen", and a third possible cuplrit is having the "automatic set time zone and dater" option checked on in Settings > Phone. (This has not bothered mine, but others reported that it did.) But, if I were you I'd start with teh Kaisertweak settings and remove the HTC HOme screen (if installed), and go from there.

Can you give out what the registry is supposed to look like after your cab is installed?
I still have SampleMMS and no Tmobile MMS and not sure if it makes a difference with my issue.. also most values on send and receive are not at 300k when i look under arcsoft in the registry..
I installed your cab and set up the settings like your post said but I still can't receive mms.
The cab isn't setting up the gprs settings on my phone, am I doing something wrong?

No your not, that is the same issue I am having.. you have to set it up yourself.. with the instructions on the first post..
I haven't been able to receive MMS using that cab but I can send them out up to 300k ...
Yea, ended up doing that.
Likewise, incoming mms aren't coming in. =/
edit: and now I can't send either. oops.

install the cab then ensure the GPRS settings are correct.. to test send an MMS to your email.. make a contact title it something like "my email" and put your email and make sure your email is saved as email and not mobile or anything else.. then send a pic to your email. you should be able to send it.. the same would work if you would send it to a differ cell phone..
the only issue here is that the incoming will not work and I'm not sure why..
Turns out it was crappy reception in my shop I can send them. =X
Now it's just the phone mocking me by lighting up when an mms comes in.

I just did a clean install of the ROM and went ahead and installed the suggested cab..when I got to this step there was no option to select Tmobile MMS??? I thought the default option to select was WAP? in any case it didnt' work
also when you install the mms cab it already puts a t mobile mms settings in the message options..but its flawed because it doesn't let you edit or delete it. you have to select it as default or create a new mms settings under different name and set that to default. i did that with your suggestioned and created new settings with differ name. Event editing the suggested settings from the cab doesn't work because it forces you to save new name and it keeps the same old settings.
I reinstalled shadowmoikes mms cab and tried it with out wifi and had no internet so I had to uninstall it and had internet did you louse it to there has to be a resin my mms works with images the other thing I did is use network wizard but it will set the data to wap. a long with mms

well the only thing I can get working with it is sending pics out and upon receiving my phone lights up for few seconds and then the light dims back down.. when it lights up the bars do not change to E like it is supposed to to connect to receive the pic.
Do you have the network wizard cab? do you mind posting it here? I have one from another thread but upon instillation no icons show up...
I sincerely appreciate you helping me out.
I have no problem sending or receiving MMS, but the phone doesn't send a confirmation (not sure on correct terminology) to the sender, and I also get a text saying you have received a picture message, and a URL to click and log in to view the picture.
Now this isnt really a problem but sometimes it sends the picture multiple times as well as the link.
Is there a setting maybe in the registry to sort this out or is it a network problem
I'm on TMobile uk and have a MDA Compact 4 with NRG rom.
TIA
Just go to the place where you are about to write a text message. Go to the bottom button and there should be a option button and from here you select the settings button and there you should be able to check and/or uncheck which things like confirmation...
Its when i'm receiving them, i get the picture as an mms, and as a text link, usually you get one or the other or so I thought.
I'm running Temasek's KANG RC3-110 with ETaNa kernel (hoc) but I've had this issue for some time. When I try to send a MMS and hit the send button the message dissappears and nothing happens. Then if I go back to main SMS screen and enter the thread in which the mms should be it is just like before hitting "send" - the attached image is displayed along with all the options and the inserted text.
The question is where does the source of this issue lay and how to fix this.

Okay, I definitely have the same problem as xswistaqx has.
I create an MMS, press the send button, it disappears, nothing happens and when I get back to the messages again, my unsent MMS appears as a draft - it's very annoying!
My device: P990, CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC3-p990
Any suggestions?

so am i with gueste hybrid 3.3 & temasek kernel. changed bb (from 218 to 725) and reflash rom. now mms are sent. for now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
Is your data enabled? Are your APN's configured the right way?
Go to Settings --> Wireless & networks --> Mobile Networks settings and tick "Data Enabled".
Then go to "Access Point Names" and you should have a list of APNs. One of them must have something like MMS in its name.
I can't tell you anything else, because I don't know what country you are in, neither do I know your mobile network provider...
If it was for the APN settings it simply wouldn't be sent instead of "disappearing" and then appearing as a draft.
Factory wipe/reset and rom reflash fixed the issue for me.
I'm currently using a T-Mobile Note 5. Previous device was Note 4. So far, I like the phone, (N4 performance was disappointing) but there are a few quirks that I have yet to find a way to circumvent. Like anything, I'm sure there's value to someone for this stuff, just not for me.
1. When sharing an image from a gallery, it prompts me to either send to an Existing Contact or new contact. So they make the first app chosen when opening a new file or link the default app automatically (one of the quirks I don't necessarily prefer, but I can live with), but then add this?
2. Caller ID contact images for incoming and outgoing calls are tiny. I've reuploaded high res images to the contact and opened the contact locally to ensure the image was loaded and cached (so it didn't just display the small image with the blurry background) and still tiny. Both making and receiving calls.
3. If i"m doing something, incoming calls show up as a pop up card with a double ended arrow to expand it. I can live with it, but i'd prefer full screen.Any way to change that default behavior?
4. When in the messenger, tapping the paperclip to select an image attach from your gallery automatically sends the message. You can only select "Send", there is no attach option. Composing text before attaching does nothing and the picture is sent and your text stays in the text box.
I was able to solve the issue of disabling screen mirroring, and no way to keep capacitive touch buttons illuminated with the installation of a few light-weight apps that reenabled the options, but I have been unsuccessful finding anything about the four things I mentioned above.

I do not have the t-mobile version so I do not know what the difference would be but my attachment button works on the stock app.
I'm able to attach files fine, it's just the behavior when I attach them. Using the attached screenshots, I'll start out in a message and I'll tap my paperclip.
After tapping the paperclip, I'll be presented with the attach menu which as my recent photos and then the other options.
Upon selecting an option, there is only one button and that is send in the top right. If I push Send, it sends the picture. If I have text in the message field, it will NOT attach the picture so the image and text go as one message. My text stays untouched in draft and it sends just the picture.
That is weird. After I select a file I have a done button where your send button is. I wonder if it has something to with the advanced messaging for t-mobile.
All I can do is picture the Dr. Evil meme with "Advanced Messaging" in quotes...
I'll see if I can find a non-updated N5 and test the behavior. When I get a new phone I do all the OS updates first, and a fresh factory wipe so I didn't even bother looking to see what was contained in the update.
I could do without the video calling button monopolizing the entire send key area since I'll never use it...
I had to go so far as to check if Easy Mode was set up... Nice job Apple Samsung.
Either way thanks for the heads up. I was out of the loop and didn't even know about the advanced messaging and that sounds like a viable lead.
Just to close the loop on this in case someone else stumbles across it. Disabling VoLTE in the call settings "fixes" #1 and #4.
Thanks to bryyyan, which is where I first learned about this.
