Hi guys i have a Cingular 8125 and I just unlocked my CID and Sim using lokiwiz tool 0.2b and I want to know that if these are permanent meaning will they always stay unlocked even if i hard reset my device or do i have to unlock both of those everytime i hard reset my device?

Unlock once, unlocked for life... even after resets/reboots.
Has anyone got there CINGULAR TREO 750 CID UNLOCKED YET? If so HOW?!?!?!?

I got my unlock code from Cingular, anyone know how to enter it in w/o a foreign sim?
Update: found a co-worker with T-Mobile. Popped in their Sim, entered the unlock code provided by cingular and i'm good to go.

turn on the PHONE function on Palm with the foreign SIM card in and type in
*#*#YOUR CODE HERE#, then press the center button.
Just go to ebay and purchase an unlock code for your phone. it fast, easy and 2 times cheaper than imei-check . it's just 17.99$ each

The Treo 750 does not have CID lock on it, you can intall whatever you want without restrictions. I dont even think it has applock.
The only lock is the SIM lock.
you can use the installer and when it errors steal the image file from the temp dirrectory and put it on your flash card and do the install that way. worked with vadaphone rom on cingular(AT&T) phone.

If your Orange SPV M700 is sim locked (does not accept any sim card other than the one from Orange) then you need HTC_Trinity_SIM_CID_Unlock_v1.zip By Prof
If your device is unlocked and all you want to do is change the rom and enable the GPS then SSPL-TRIN.exe By Des
In both cases you might lose your warranty.

I have a Vodafone v1405 Spain, or the HTC MTeor, and I ca'nt sim-unlock the unit.
I've tried a lot of methods, and I can't change the bootloader version.
Every time, I receive INVALID ID, or THIS UPGRADE IS NOT FOR YOUR DEVICE.
What can I do?
If I pay at imei-check.com for the unlock, how the simlock status will be afected if I upgrade to WM6 in the future?
If it's possible, I'd like the NON PAYING method for the unlock...

I'm from Spain too, I suposed you have the same phone, vodafone v1405. I have the sim locked problem solved, but I'm getting crazy trying to upgrade to a new ROM.

I recently ordered an unlock code from TMobile UK and have successfully unlocked my phone. The question is whether it remains unlocked forever or will it lock again when I update to a new ROM (official or cooked).

as far as I know when you ordered a unlock code from T-Mobile then it is a sim unlock number to allow you to use other providers in the phone the CID lock is is still there .Still after a hard reset your unlock from T-moblie you should still be able to use other sim cards from other providers
So basically keep my code safe???

If so, I'd better keep a note of the Unlock code!
