[uppdated] [01.03.2009][SWE] Xperia Xion 1.1 with UC Support (X1i ROM R2AA06)

The Rom is based on X1i_GENERIC_SE_CDF1215-3315_R2AA006.
I made this for fun for me and my friend SonyEX1
That is the new official SE Rom for SWEDEN, i tried to get the best performance out and added touchflo 3D with the apps to make it work, as well as youtube, volymecontrol(modded with hardwarekeys to change system volyme as first choice instead of telephone).

Youtube cant play videos (working on fix)
found a fix, but it made other changes that wasn't good.
so I decide not to post it, but the new rom has the youtube application working .
get opera bookmarks on touchflo3D and update em there automatic
go to windows folder, create new folder named "opera9" without coutes, then goto application data, opera9 there copy file opera6.adr and then paste it in the folder created in windows called opera9.
start opera type opera:config in adress
in the page that comes up click on "user prefs" (at bottom), then look for the name "opera directory" change it from /application data/opera9/..... to /windows/opera9/....
shut down opera, then next time you start opera and add a bookmark it will show up in touchflo3D..
Bug fixes:
Action screen gps fix (allocates quick gps now, instead of google maps)
Extra files:
Action screen assigned to hold powerbutton for 3 seconds (you can shut down windows or softreset anyway through the actionscreen, it's modified to do that), it will remove the gps button on actionscreen (quickGPS).
Smaberg X1 Powerbutton 12 icons actionscreen v 1.0 - Action screen assigned to hold powerbutton for 3 seconds. This is the full program with softreset and power off option, will install on newer windows mobile 6.1. this is the updated version that will show you a green iceon when pressed.

Enybody tried skype 2.5 beta on this release. dosent work with original swe rom it hang and give a errror message.

i wish to thank u all for the comment on my swedish ROM, much greatful, i know now that a swedish ROM was well in place.
there is problem with youtube, i can get it to work, but then the x1 wont be able to play other files and some stuff in camera(thanx ITJE for info)
is there anything you want in version 2.0 feel free to drop a comment.
there will be more 1.x releases as i go along, more tweaks, more speed, more storage, maybe other programs and so, well see.

Album does not hang for me.
i only used .cab files for the thing i think some user's want to remove. all other is cooked in.
if i find more users with problems in the album app hanging, i will include the socialnetwork...

I dumped my friends touchhd, so there u go.
im working on 1.1 tonight with SocialNetworks (swedish) and 12 button actionscreen, finix battery, youtube fix(maybe) and RSS HUB fix (didnt install to program but program files)..
maybe up tonight?

Old problems
1 Album doesn't rotate pictures and doesn't have old zoom (just double tap only)
2 Camera doesn't have zoom slider

on the home tab under the calendar you have a small white arrow. in your rom the arrow it's at the bottom and if I flip to small clock, it will go above the big one.
I am using tf3d with 15 tabs, and the problem can be from here... don't know.

I've ran the ROM 12 hours now....fully tested the apps I use, OCN8 (GPS) with text to speach, YouTube, upload, Galarm, Opera, Total commander, HD Tweak, WiFi and BT toggle, word, Adobe, contacts among a few minor programs. They all work without a flaw! I particularly like the Opera version larger text option.
Your ROM IS the fastest I've used and I am sure I've 90% of the WWE cooked ROMs. The RAM-Disc is pure genius!! No stability issues. When I say quick, I mean it runs as the HD is intended. Excelent for those, like me, who want the option of installing and removing applications, rather than cooking into the ROM. (of course, if I wasn't so lazy = dumb )
I installed HD volume control - perfect!
The one issue I have and it's a preference, not a product flaw: I can't get HD dailer to work properly. I've re-flashed ROM after installtion, installed in devise, RAM-Drive and SD card - rebooted, but each time I use the phone or get a call, the answer slider shows as a green/red line that is not accessable. Of course, I can touch the pick-up button, but what fun is that?
Seriously though, can anyone give me a pointer to install the HD-IT Blackstone Dialer that I may be overlooking.

Have you tried this ROM? If not, I highly recommend you do. Excellent speed and stability!!

If u want I can return HTC Dialer and HTC Keyboards,but I think it not good idea)))

Naaaa! You've done a superb job! No point in screwing it up for one app. I like this keyboard. Much better config than the HD.
I love it just the way you have it.

Let me tell you guys, I've been testing onkolog's 6.5 versions. Compared to the others on the board, this is the fastest and most reliable. I won't be going back to 6.1. Just a week ago I didn't think there was anyway I upgrade to 6.5 - becase everything I'd tried up to that point sucks - Then, along comes the ROM master, onkolog and changes me forever.

WKTask works...but with colors in the top bar problem(((You can install and you'll see that...It's problem in WKTask...I included default Task Manager in ROM...(in both ROMs)

You should really really realy try Willyung's 826x rom.
I believe his WM 6.5 and the speed of the sense can match up or is even faster than Evilash rom.

No offence to any other chefs for their great roms but I strongly agree with briian.

Sorry, no plans to add Sense, I personaly don't like any additional graphic interface and I have no experience with them. But WM6.5 is comming soon

Hello, I've used "R3AA35-010b" ROM for many months but the main developer has stops to continue the development.
So I've started to work on this ROM from the last release.

PagePool 24MB changable with "PagePoolChanger" software.
Using new "greatbal Titanium Shadow Neo" with landscape fix.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
It takes not more than 5 minutes after flashed.
FIRST BOOT after flashed:
Probably your device will seem stucked with TOP status-bar visibile with normal status icons but with white HOME page.
Don't worry, just touch one of these icons on top and Titanium will be displayed!
JUST for first boot after flashed!
COMMON ISSUES:
I've inherited this single issue from previous developer: sometime the "Explore File" application freeze and it's necessary to restart the phone.
I suggest to use Total Commander, Resco Explorer or other File Manager to surf throught your folders and then remove "Explore File" shortcut from "\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs" folder to avoid to run it accidentally.

My suggestion would be NOT adding apps into ROM (unless it is necessary for specific ones to work) and NOT removing the generally built-in ones (unless there are new versions available, eg. Opera). Plain, pure almost-original WM...

hi..... it is a great news and thanks ..all x1 users would love to have nice and fast x2 rom in x1.. i agree with you the panel manager is a resource drainer . maping x button to task manager or comm manager will be great ...... fdc task manager has reg edit in it...... bye man... good luck......

My requests:
Map X-panel button to StartMenu
Nitrogen as music player
TCPMP as video player
Opera Mini 5 beta 2 for surfing the web (beta 2 is faster than Opera Mini 5 when opening pages; Opera Mini 5 looks better but is way slower and don't display all the pages)
Opera Mobile 10 and Internet Explorer should be installed, because there are some pages that can't be opened with one or another (or provide cabs to users)
Office - provide cab
HTC Usb2PC
Clean the apps that aren't usually used, and provide cabs for them.
