so yesterday my keyboard just decided to stop working.. i have not added any cabs or anything lately so im not sure what it could be, the keyboard will only work if i mash a whole bunch of buttons and they will all come up then nothing... not really sure whats goin on..
I also had this problem 2-3 times... And didn't manage to find why.

I'm experiencing a weird problem. All of a sudden my Kaiser won't turn off and the keyboard has stopped working. I've tried restarting it about 10 times and took the battery out for 5 mins and it's still doing it.
I really don't want to completely reset it, does anyone have any ideas what could be up with it?
Ok, so I just softreset it whilst it was on charge and it seems to be working now! Never had this bug before so I'd still be interested to know if anyone knows anything about this in case it happens again.
i had this the other week, it wouldnt do anything, load any programs, kept saying missing DLL files.
Turned out, when i uninstalled a program "Google Navigator" or something, it screwed my file system up.
Sounds like a hard reset is the only way to fix these sort of problems mate.

Think I'm gonna upgrade to WM6.1 anyway so now is probably a good time to do it.
ok my phone is messed up. ive done a lot of testing and think i know whats wrong, i just dont know how to fix it.
problem: sometimes when i reboot my phone, it loads up the screen then the sceen just goes black instead of loading my homescreen
now from what ive seen, it only does this when i use any other home app as default besides my default. open home/advanced launcher. when i turn my phone off and my default home app is the default home, it'll boot back up nicely. how can i fix this? or should i just stop using alternative home apps?
btw, im on cm 4.0.4

and i HAVE tried wiping many times. and reflashing. doesnt fix it.
or could it be that these home alternatives arent compatible with cm 4.0.4?

I would imagine with cyan having so much donut in it and the home alt's not being designed for it they wouldn't work right.

Ok its a little more in-depth and im running Cyanogen 5.0.7 Test 5... anyways. so my screen works perfectly fine when keyboard is out but when i slide it back to close... the screen is all messed up looking and this happened for no apparent reason. it even happens when i boot it into recovery. works fine tho when the keyboard is out like nothing is wrong with screen but when turned its all messed up like lines through the screen and u cant even see anything... i went to T-Mobile to pay my bill today and they said to do a Factory Reset sheesh is there another way tho that can be less of a hassle...
ill give a few days time to see what you guys/girls can do to help me with this problem
this isnt guaranteed but goto recovery ( rebooting home+back ) and goto wipe then wipe the screen rotation option. if this doesnt work it wont mess up anything.
Uhm Tried Still doesnt work... getting more irritated...considering that i did nothing just answered a call while i was playing a game... and the screen looks like its missing alot of pixels in Up-Down view but keyboard view its perfectly fine...

I've checked and some says that I need to replace it but as I dont have much cash I wanna make sure that my screen needs replacing.
My bro got me an old G1. And its screen starts to behave quite odd recently. Sometimes I cant touch anything, or it just keeps pressing itself. (In cases like when I'm typing it will types it self bunch of letters in the mid and bottom lines (the asd-zxc lines) And when things happen I have to turn off the screen and wake it again. Problem resolved temporarily.
And it happens daily, if not nearly all day
So please anyone that got experiences or advices please tell me is it the screen's fault? And should I replace it?

I had similar problems. It happened when my battery was low... Im pretty sure it was just my ROM being buggy.

But I dont think so. I changed to dwang's rom (donut as I remember) and it still were "lagged" like that so I flash back to CM 6.1.2. So I dont think that's the roms' fault.
And about the battery... Im not sure. Sometimes when the batts gets lower I got better responds .. quite unpredictable
And what did you do?
I attempted to install a new ROM, failed. Tried to recover my back up, and now I'm learning to fastboot. :/
After the install failed, and I had a fresh instal of my ROM running, it seemed to stop.
I also noticed that it only did it when I had the keyboard opened.
Aww I'm not lucky as you are.
Since I've installed 4 roms but none of them fixes it. I'm thinking of changing the radio Im not sure though...
