As I understand it, the x7501 is nothing more than the x7500 with the front camera removed before shipping to to US providers. My question is has the front camera actually only been removed and the faceplate replaced to hide where the front camera would be, or is the motherboard for the x7501 completely and physically different because there is no front camera? If anyone has a definite answer about this or knows who I can ask to find this out, I would be very grateful.

Is there a case without the hole for the camera? My job doesn’t let me have a cell phone with a camera and it would be great if I could find a case that covers the camera.
Thanks,
ZK
Did you actually remove the camera? If so, how does WP7 handle the camera missing? Is the chrome bezel around the camera removable?
I have the same issue you have, my workplace is strictly no cameras but they will allow a phone with the camera removed.
Isnt there a sticker cover you can get on ebay?
I have a dent in the camera lens (or it's cover), the one on the outside. I've been googling for ages and can't find one anywhere. I don't want to buy a new camera just for the lens (there a vid on youtube about the camera lens for SP, so i know it's possible to get it seperately). It's a small ddent, but it makes my camera so that it can't focus at all... The camera is one of the reasons I bought it, so I really want to fix the lens. Or should I just opt for the Oneplus one or the Xiaomi Mi4?
Firstly, can any of you find the lens anywhere online?
you have to search local mobile phone markets too. possibly u will find ( not necessarily of sony but some other brand that may fit ) coz sony does not provide such parts like lens cover or flap covers etc ( as far as India is concerned  dont know about rest countries )
If phone is in warranty then replacement is possible
So, I just dropped my phone, and the glass covering the rear camera is broken now. The camera still works, but there is some noticeable blurring of the picture that the phone takes now. Is anyone aware of whether or not motorola(or anyone else for that matter) can replace this glass for me?
AFAIK, they can fix pretty much anything. But not under warranty.
Looks pretty simple to do: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Motorola+Moto+X+2nd+Generation+Camera+Lens+Replacement/40708
I would imagine Motorola might charge a fair amount to do it but if you could find the spare part and do it yourself or find someone who can....
Hello everyone.
I have a problem with the rear camera. Dust or something like that has stuck into it, so on my pictures appear big black dots. I tried to take of the back glass, but nothing changed. Dirt is inside the small camera module, not on the glass. So i want to buy a new camera module. I found many of them on alliexpress, starting from 3 to 30 dollars. Has anybody had experience with this? Are cheaper camera modules good like the original one in terms of picture quality? Or should I buy expensive original only?
Thanks.
I bought a camera part on eBay and it looks different than the original part. It doesn't seem to be able to auto focus at all. Pictures attached if you want to see. The plastic around the camera is different rather than just a circle. Original part on the left side
I don't think it's fake. Phone cameras aren't something worth reproducing, either way if it's defective you should try requesting a refund and/or sending it back
