Well i have tried all the 3 but none of them are working on my diamond.
Shaks.P Disable Phone Lock Shade
Try the one listed in my signature. No curtain, no video call, came from the Diamond to begin with and works on Diamond as well as Touch Pro. Also available in standard white as well as black theme.
Will this make device goes into sleep mode after 3-4 seconds just after call starts??

Actually, that's dependent on how you have your power settings configured. If you have it set to dim after 10 seconds and turn off after 40, then in 50 seconds total, it'll go dark.
But to answer your question, yes, this one does turn the display off after a certain amount of time.

Hi everybody,
I already tried this with no answer in Smartphone genereal discussion. I will try it here, because it is thing which really pisses me off. I want to have clock (with date, unread sms or answered calls) on my screen all the time. Ideally without backlight.
An example can be seen on attached image on some bloody Nokia. Is there any way how to achieve this or similar? Thank you!
No sir. Windows Moble doesn't handle the display like that. If it's on, and displays the click piece, the display is on. If you lock the phone (hold the red/end button for 3 seconds), if you tap a button the display will turn on half-lit and will display the time.

OK, I can't say I'm surprised. But wouldn't it be possible to let the display on just without backlight? Or with backlight on minimal power?
That type of display (image) is a little different from whats used now, so they work differently. My first phone the screen was always on displaying the clock and such.
I am sure theres a way to write or find a program (havent looked) that just uses the backlight at its minimal power setting like when things time out before the screen goes off again. It will eat battery though.
yes you can! ...but u need adding extra software, e.g. "automatic keylock" that you download from http://maniac.fschreiner.de.
from their web:
With Automatic Keylock, you can add an automatic keypad lock and an idle screen saver like on most other mobiles phones to your Windows Mobile powered smartphone.
Features include:
The timeout for keypad lock and screen saver can be configured seperately for applications and homescreen.
You can exclude applications of your choice from the automatic keylock.
Either use keypad lock or device lock.
On profile changes to several profiles (Headset/Car/Handsfree/Charging), several actions can by taken.
Additionally, the screen saver has some nice features:
The screen saver lines can be configured in respect to content and font size.
It can show the current time, date, the amount of missed calls and messages, information from CellProfileSwitcher and a phone status line which contains information about the battery charge level, the signal strength level and the current profile.
A line with status icons for the most important information can be displayed.
Upon a missed call or a missed message, the screen saver can be configured to do some action (backlight blink).

Just the results of my experiments with this always-on screen saver:
- Using Auto KeyLock - works fine, is free
- Battery life didn't change much. Altough I don't switch-off the phone in the night, it takes approx. 2 days to discharge the battery (what is not important to me, because I charge it every day). Before this it was about 2.5 days
- The only disadvantage I realised is that I can't use keylock. Now keys are "unlocked" by pressing home button (every other just switch the backlight to "full-on")
So I would recommend this time & missed screensaver to everyone who doesn't like to wear watches

well.. actually i dont use the clock-screensaver option. i simply use it for auto-key-locking and to say it works just flawless. i then unlock by the standard two-button combination. anyhow... nice application!

Yup, but if you use classic keylock, backlight (and also the display) goes off
Hey there ppl
Iam searching for some software which can customize the Trackballs LED when i recieve sms or have a missed call to flash faster.
The LED is very usefull when you do not have any sound or vibration on the phone and its laying ont the table. But the idea of it dissappears when it only flashes once every 10 seconds as you will have to look at it in a long time to see if you have recieved anything.
So it could be really nice if some sort of software existed

You could install theVillain Rom 3.3.... When receiving sms, email, voicemail, notification, the trackball will led.. you can also switch off part of these settings.
Notifylight works fine (IF YOU HAVE ROOT!)
Hey devs,
I need to ask if anyone knows how to change the vanilla lockscreen softkey functions. Specifically, I'd like to change the volume swipe to alternate between normal (volume on) and vibrate (vibrate on, volume off). I don't prefer silent because I still want to "feel" when I get messages and such when I'm at work.
Thanks
You'll have to mod the Lockscreen.java code in AOSP in the framework base... which means you'll need to check out AOSP and do the compile of AOSP yourself.

All you have to do is go into Settings>Sound and enable Vibrate always. Then, when you swipe the jog tab is goes from normal>vibrate>back to normal.
or you could enable vibrate in silent only. either way, you dont have to mess with the fun task of trying to compile from source.

I would like to change the slide to answer/decline call to something like tap/click to answer. Sliding drives me crazy because i have small hands and it is hard for me to slide rather than just tap. I just changed my Iphone4 to HTC One, on iOS I have had a mod called EZDecline which forced the stock system red decline and green answer button on every screen and it was good.
On HTC though, on the lockscreen there are slides - how to get rid of them without disabling lockscreen ?
I have TrickDroid v8 and Nova Launcher.

Slide buttons are only on the lockscreen while the phone is locked. There are normal buttons on unlocked phone, but I want to change the sliders on the lockscreen, since the most of the time, the telephone is locked while being called.
Really anyone did not change or mod that ?

You will have to use an app more than likely.
I use SMS pop up and it also controls the incoming phone calls and I only have to click to answer. There should be tons of apps to do what you are looking for. Just a few that I know if would be SMS Pop-up, Notify, Full Screen Caller ID.

I guess nobody sees it as a big deal ... Doesn't surprise me though that it was available on the iPhone seeing as you can''t do jack **** on an iPhone without modding or tweaking something
... On a side note though, I'm confused as to why your small hands pose such an issue with sliding to answer? Are they toddler sized hands or something?

Holding firmly phone and sliding the decline slider is just uncomfortable. Im not the type of person who focus on the phone with tho hands. I am walking and want to fast answer or decline with one hand and the grip with one hand for me is not secure.

No settings for the call stuff. Should just reboot after installing and it should take over your incoming call screen. You may need to enable the SMS notification setting for the call screen to work though, not sure never used it without enabling the SMS notifications

If you're on latest firmware with updated touch driver, it's more like a quick flick rather than a full swipe. Pretty easy to do.

SMS notify works but the incoming call is still Slide to answer on the lockscreen. Is it because i use Nova Launcher ? I fully rebooted the phone 3 times already.

Could be. Sorry, I have never used Nova launcher.
I think it is because I have Nova with Sense 5.0 and the lockscreen comes from HTC Sense ui and it overides the incoming call styles and I am stuck with sliders.
Full screen caller ID app should still work. You can configure the how the incoming call screen looks and it wouldn't matter which launcher you are using.

The one by nickycho is really configurable. I would try that one or ultimate caller ID screen hd by lowveld.
1. Is there no way hide notification on lock screen for apps that's always in the notification bar (like Tasker or Call Recorder?)
2. I can't find anyway to turn of the screen by double tap the notification bar (like in COS or CM).

Call recorder is a widely used name for apps that record calls. I use the one from Skvalex, also payed version.
What I mean is that normally apps that shall stay active all the time needs to be in notification bar, but I rather don't see it when I only turn on the display with the lock screen.
In CM and COS I could deal with this with options like "never show for apps always in notification bar".

Hmm, I'm on 4.0 and havn't used call-recorder in the short time I was on 3.5.4, next time I'm restoring 3.5.4, I'll check and report back.
Stupid me! It was because I had no PIN set on the phone, I had no specific options for the lock screen.
