Possible to get aDiary outside Market?

I have searched and looked everywhere, but just cant seem to find anything.
Is it possible to get the "aDiary" (Triple Creeks Mobile) APK from any other place besides Market?
Im from DK and we do not have permission to acces the paid apps yet.
Anyone who can help?
there are probably ten threads about getting payed apps in areas where it's not enabled yet.
ie "market enabler".
Look around - you need to have root though.
Good luck, from someone else who has gotten payed apps here in Denmark
My Question is not how to access the paid apps market place, but if there is another way about it.
i have installed a couple of apps through my memory card, so just wanted to see if "aDiary" would work this way to.
But thanks anyway

What are non-market apps?

I just want to know what are non-market apps and how do they differ from market apps?
I don't understand the concept. Are these apps that are NOT available from the market? I mean apps that are not included in the market at all? like lets say some guy made an app and posted a .apk file online but its not available from the market. is that what non-market apps are?
or are these apps that are not available in my country (as we know that there are country-specific apps now and some apps are not available in canada and are available to download in europe etc)?
Please explain. dont just say yes or no. thanks
Yup. Non market apps are usually from the internet, not the market (hence the name) and you just install them using astro or a similar file manager, if you have non market apps enabled.

[Q] AppBrain questions

The application's web site seems to me to have circular logic when it comes to installing the AppBrain app itself on the gTablet. After a frustrating week, I am asking for help. What am I doing wrong? I do have a validated account.
A side question. Is it worth the effort to install?
Thanks.
Tom
AppBrain is a Market filter and search index not a repository
The device must be open to the regular Market for AppBrain to work. In other words, Market must function correctly first, then AppBrain should work under "normal" Android conditions.
I appreciate your reply but I don't understand what to do. All I want is a direct link to the apk file for "mydlink Lite" to see my wireless cameras, but all I find are QR scan images. I haven't figured out how to make that work since I have a Blackberry phone. It shouldn't be that complicated.
Do you have Market installed on your tablet. Not "gmarket" but "Market". Are you running a stock tablet? Without the market installed on your tablet appbrain won't work.
EDIT: If you install the Market, the app you are looking for is available

My tablet is stock and only the gMarket is installed. Thanks for the pointers and I'll do the reading you suggest. No WiFi on the cross-country train travel so I'm just catching up with everything.
Tom
I've never used it, from what I've read, Appbrain doesn't have the APKs themselves. It's just a way to see what's in the Google Marketplace. So, when you find something on Appbrain, and want to get it, you actually end up getting from the Market, not from Appbrain.

Facebook and twitter in market?

Ive got two tablets in front of me and neither can find the facebook or twitter in the market. I installed both on one of the tablets among time ago, but now they don't show as installed in market and I can't search for them. The online market shows that they are installed and the do update, but nothing shows on the device market.
Is there a way I can get these apis on the new tablet?
Thanks
Matt
Never mind. I just cluttered the forum. Tried a different market fix and now it shows.
Matt
I would try the market fix. If not login to the App Market website and try finding them and loading them that way. Plus if you search around I'm sure you can find out how to side load something.

For anyone who still has a problem finding apps, try using App Brain to search for missing apps. You can usually find any missing apps on there and then use App Brain to link to the app in the market, even if you can't find it using the search.

Apps not aviable to download from Android Market Place (GoogleDocs)

I've been noticing that I am unable to download/install apps from the Android Market Place that have anything to do with using a camera. I saw today that there is now a full Google Docs app, but the Market Place will not allow me to download and install it. I confirmed this by going to the Market Place's website and it said that it wasn't compatible with my device. I am currently running CM7 Stable so the only thing I can see that would be a problem is the lack of a camera on the nook.
Is there anyway around this outside of waiting for someone to create a .apk package for it?

Works great. Wish the market would get a clue
Apparently there will be a camera spoof in an upcoming CM7 nightly for this reason.
