anyone know of any spoof apps that can change ur number for txts or calls ...isaw on one the market a while ago but it was pay per min...dont like that idea wouldnt mind buying an app but to pay by the min could get costly...just looking for an app to use is sound boards to mess with friends..
I don't believe it's possible for an app to do such a thing without using a 3rd party route (in otherwords you will have to pay for it) as caller ID and sms transmission is all controlled on the Network side of things. Even when you hide your number it is still identified to the network you are calling it just hides it on the other end from the call recipients phone.
cool thats what i thought...
I believe the app you are looking for is called 123SPOOF. It is free for a 2min call which i believe is long enough to mess with someone pretty good. When you call you have to listen to a 30 sec Ad then it connects you.
Ive used a few times works great and really freaks people out.

The original app is called "Spoof App" and it ain't that exspensive. Paid $20 for 120 minutes. Its lasted me for months now and still have 60 something minutes. Fun stuff.

Have you actually used this for a teleconference? How did it work?
My network doesnt support it unfortunately.
So all i use for my front camera is a mirror / lame youtube blogs.
Actually I found out that the front camera takes photos much faster than the rear camera, and even though the resolution is not as good, the faster responsiveness often makes it a preferred tool for photos.
I've only used it once and it works well.
can someone post a pic from the front camera and post it here?
Here ya go.
at&t
does at&t support videoconference on its 3G? I have the Kaiser but no one to test with! I dont know anyone as self indulgent as myself who buys these things
dont mean to hijack this thread but can we use front camera for yahoo messenger or msn?

AT&T does support video calls, but you'll need to have a video calling packaged added to your line less you want extra charges. Another way for AT&T to make more $$. I can't wait for the day when video calls are no different from normal voice calls.

I was also wondering if (at the very least) one way teleconferencing would be available on AT&T (via cellular video)...obviously this is not on of the four supported phones, but with the 3g network in place it would be interesting to try...
does anyone know of any software to record a telephone conversation on the iphone?
I think it is illegal to record a conversation without notifying the other person that you are doing so, I was looking for some similiar software last year but couldnt find any, maybe for that reason!!
it is only illigal if you don't notify the person. I wouldn't be using for illegal activities. the person will be notified.

its not illegal everywhere..... it all depends on local laws
It's not illegal, you just can't use it in a court of law if the other person is not notified in some states.

Its not a matter of be legal or not.
ITs a matter of need be specific wm device implementation, because this its hard release.
All phone today do it, by native in any country. the ones don't do? THE GREAT SMARTPHONES FROM MICROSOFT.
But its possible, just hard ( until now, because some new models have registry entries that let us imaginate will be possible later).

what a random post
abyway, back on topic:
i think when i has my jailbroken iphone, there was some software to do it, ut it might have just been for voice recording normally.
i doubt anything on the app store will do it though, only cydia (jailbroken iphone appstore)
well you aren't gonna find much support here
windows fans = make pie out of apple
apple fans = very confused people
thanks for the feedback, I'll check out cydia.
okay, so i found this app on the app store (no im not an apple fan, i just have an ipod touch) called reqall. THIS IS A LITERAL GIFT FROM GOD FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME!!!!! you can set reminders to be sent to your phone either by email or text at a specified time before you gotta do whatever it is you need to do. you can even call one of their numbers and SPEAK YOUR REMINDER AND IT WILL BE PUT INTO TEXT FOR YOU AND STORED IN YOUR REMINDERS!!! and the best part of all this? ITS 100% FREE (there is a paid version, but it offers very little in terms of improvement from the basic version). there is even a firefox add on for those of you who use firefox. i dont know about you guys, but i think this is mankinds greatest creation.
Never heard about this application
With Android you can set up Google Calendar to send reminders to your phone as well...
Sent from the XDA App on my FroYoed Sprint Hero...so forgive possible typos
How old are you?!?!?
There are reminders for phones since the beginning of the world!!! You could ask your mother to phone you with the message! Did you remember to brush yer teeth? LTM (Mutley style)

No reqall for WM???
hey how about this one ,
u set urself a reminder at 7:00am and u can use ur fone as an alarm clock !!!!
freakin cool isnt it !
Now, I know my ancient Windows mobile phone wont text itself natively, but it does have this basic alarm and calendar functions that can be programmed to remind and alert myself at specified times... I think it's been in there since WM2003SE

It's not searchable in the marketplace. You need to download it using the link directly on the phone.
I strongly recommend using the QR code from the official blog post.

No, not for the moment and there are a lot of complains on their forums about it too.
Me for one, I don't like it that it wont stay live either, not even with Push notifications, but its also said in an interview that they're working on a solution
IM: It is not possible to receive IM's when Skype is not in foreground
Workaround: None available

Check here for the info about any of this!

Buglog (including the background thing) and more
(put it big so that it may help others with questions too, seeing as XDA is not the place for reactions (well you get my drift )
I found this cool app called Driving Assistant Robin. It is similar to Siri sort of. The main goal of the app is for you to make driving on the road easier.
It does this by SPEAKING an ETA and it gives you an alternative route if it believes your going to be stuck in traffic forever. It will also read incoming text messages and emails while you are driving.
It has some more features as well... however, the best feature is that it is FREE.
Learn more about it here:

I am just trying to help keep people safe on the road.
Hundreds of people die every year because they read a text or an email while they are driving. Now, they don't have to worry about this because Driving Assistant Robin will read the email and text message for you while you drive. The app is free as well... you should really go and check it out!

I live in a coastal area. It is (or should be) impossible to get lost.
I'll never need a gps, or a GPS app of any sort. If someone gets lost here, they don't deserve to be found.
