ROM and basic knowledge support

Hi all ,
I am new for this ROM Dev , but i want to understand whats going on .
so i have some questions i guess are simple for you guys .
1. what content is inside the ROM ?
2. can i do a backup to a ROM ? like the ROM i have right now on the HTC ?
3. how can i create ROM myself ? or change existing ROM ?
this is for creating support to another lang for a ROM i will like .

Try to search before opening a new thread.

Careful
if you setup new windows mobile .... your windows (Current version) old Stale ..... will remove for ever even you try to backup or reset the new windows will back not old

[Q] X8 lots of q pls help

Hello there . first of all sorry for my bad english . im a boy who want to have technoogy in his hands . i just made 16 and bought xperia x8 . i have it 2 weeks and its nice but i soooo hate the stypid 2.1 stock adnroid . i need soo much help about it idk andything about android , firmwares kernels and etc . so pls anyone help me , guide me , give me link for threat like this . i want to get knoweledge about android software and i wanna know some basic terms about it . idk what means that i have e15i model. i soo wanna change this 2.1 os to some stable 2.2-2.3 android . but i need lots of help . i was reading about some custom kernels ,roms and etc . i was reading about recoveries ,apptosds ulocking stock room , rooting and etc . i just wanna some guides for basics of android and some intermediate stuff . and then to learn to reboot my phone safely and get my custom rom . i was searching and i foun that if i put custom rom to my x8 i wanna put froyobread or ginger dx . i wanna get knoweledge about "cm6 cm7" idk what is that . and i wanna know the most required items for custom rom like : app to sd super easy 1 click cpu overclock overvolt jit xrecovery . and for now that's it , if any one can help me the do it .
ill be soo thankful to the guy who can help .

But before all you need:

2. Install recorevery Xrecovery or CWm or both http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117100
3. Find rom which is the best for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1222348
4. Install it, and since you are beginner dont flash your kernel live it just like it is...

Salam Rashad,
the official stock rom has been released this week i think..
google with these words "N7000JPLSB 4.1.2 XQ55" i guess it would be the first result, which is written in arabic,, it will also tell you how to install it.. then you'll need to root it so you'll find another post in the same website, recently posted.
i dont know if there is any arabic custom roms.. you may look up futher
but you can use any custom rom since they all read arabic..
you'll just need a good keyboard & you can change the font if you like
for the keyboards: they are some that are even better that the stock (try GO Keyboard and install additionally arabic language)
there is also an app called XQ55 fonts you can change the arabic main font.. to the one you like the most
so it 's your choice.. good luck bro =) Salam
