Can some of the experienced taskbar modders make a white > silver gradient taskbar icons? Nothing to fancy, maybe take the design of the vista/windows 7 notification icons into affect. they are limited colors that blend together. The icons are not 3d, they are flat, some have color but they look good.
I find most of the task bars here are trying too much and sacrifice professionalism and readability.
I can do it myself, just need a guide on the dll files and locations to edit. I have iconworkshop and i assume i can safely edit the icons in the files and won't corrupt them.

Now and again i like a change in the backround of my blueangel, i would like to make some decent images myself but i am no image making expert.
What i would like to know is when i place a logo on a backround i have a white area around the icon which rounds it off to make a square image does anyone know how i make the white area around the icon disappear so it sits on top of the backround with just the icon no white edges around the icon.
Confused.
Are you saying that you have icons on your Today's plugin that, when you are creating these icons, instead of having transparent background, you are getting a white background?
Yeah thats right also does anybody know the correct image format that iLauncher accepts for changing icons e.g my message icon with the paper sticking out change to >>> outlook icon.
Thanks.
Last night i searched and collected bunch of black'ups icons, all icons are in png, and 64x64, and this pack contains 894 icons.
I spent a little while searching for these last night as well. I found a page when you can just right click save the icons.

great but i don't like this icons with black corner
Hmm, they didnt show up like that on my phone.
They are made baddly
If you take a look closely on the site the icons under the title;
AppStore icons all have a black border. This usually happens when someone takes an icon and tries to create a template from it, forgetting to make the background transparent or not knowing how to make the icon sit inside a transparent boarder.
It's easily fixed if you know how and the original dimensions of the icon.
Other than that they are nice looking icons.
Great Icons....
I dont think ive seen this mentioned or done around here but i could be wrong....
So i was messing with photoshop and it popped in my head that i could turn some of the icons into photoshop brushes (kinda like stamps). This will allow me to make them different colors and use them with transparent icons. So i made some of these Corue icons into brushes and came up with this lil theme.
Now, can anyone tell me how i get a true transparent icon image? As you can see on the picture.. the transparent icons i have arent so transparent...
And im going to crop the top part of this wallpaper.
I would like to change the graphics of my status bar icons. For one I would like to get rid of the retarded Samsung blue icons for battery and WiFi that will be burning in to my NEW EXPENSIVE screen (Sammy should know better!)
I would also like to make OLED safe icons for the home etc icons.
Is it a matter of changing some .PNG files in a certain directory or is it more involved like recompiling and flashing a new ROM (that is beyond my abilities).
Id love to see some changes on the icon or at least the colors they come in, the signal bars and clock on the 'status bar is really an OLED killer.
Hey all,
Hope you can provide some assistance. I got an all-white icon set, and modified a few .pngs in Photoshop to add color to match my theme. Backgrounds were transparent, displayed transparent in Photoshop, still opened as transparent after I exported them for web as png-24s with transparency preserved. However, as soon as I drag the icons over to the root of my storage card, my phone (HTC One) displays the once transparent backgrounds as black. What gives? I've tried using Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS6, and GIMP with the same results. I'm I missing something?
