Does anybody know the easiest way to change the Today Screen font color other than the hex edit found in the diamond forum? I have a Fuze with standard ROM (ver.1.95.502.5) and am using Diamond TF3Dconfig. The problem I have is that I'm often in bright sunlight and would like a black background with white fonts. I've searched the forums and a lot of the themes seem to have white fonts, but I really didn't want a new theme, just a new font color.
Thanks
I tried to change the bar color on cyanogenmod 6.1 RC1 I wanted to have a nice dark orange bar but.... it's impossible. It's impossible to choose orange to begin with because the color wheel goes from red to black to white then to yellow. This doesn't make any sense! And you can't choose the brightness of the color just the alpha.
Why the color picker has to be so useless? Can it be replaced with something more useful like RGB sliders or even better HSL sliders?
Unfortunately I'm not a programmer so I can't tell if it's doable or not.
+1
Its crap!
One of the older trackball alert style apps had a grid that was much better, but I can't remember which it was now...
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
So I made just a simple theme for ADW, when I load it though all the themed icons look great, but the unthemed icons have really weird colorings. I know I didn't touch any of the icon color settings while making it because I'm color blind (Green-red, blue-brown) and wouldn't of been able to judge the colors correctly, so is there anything I may of overlooked?
Is it possible to change the downloaded tile colors to the same color scheme you have the phone set to? such as i have my 620 set to green but the twitter and facebook app are blue. Is this possible? coming from android so kind of lost
App tiles are only set to your selected accent color if the app developer made the tile backgrounds transparent. For apps which have a "standard" color, such as Twitter's light blue, that will usually not be the case. It's purely up to the developer, though.
With interop-unlock, it should become possible to replace those icons with other ones... it's not going to be trivial, though.
afaik, this app should allow you to do so:

I have not tried, though as I like the occasional splash of color on the screen.
Is it possible to change the clock font colour to black without changing the theme. (Dont like the one theme that has black as default). My problem is that it is very hard to read with my prefered wallpaper, see screen shot
Thanks
