Hi dude
Try these tweaks:
1) go in settins-> system tab -> sreen -> adjast (true up) sreen, than adjast it using your stylet an NOT your finger!
2) what 3rd party softwares did you install? maybe, someone changed any system/registry settings!
3) try to use this great app KaiserTweak , and in the TouchFlo tweak try to increase the "Sensitivity" and "Finger Pressure" settings (this is designed for the TouchFlo app, but ,i think, it can increase your screen sensitivity too!
4) if you have many softwares installed and didn't solved it using point 1) and 3), try to hardreset your device (first remember to backup/save all your data)!
Hope to help you!
Ciao
I have this problem too... is this a problem of my pda or is a software popular problem?
With kaisertweak the sensitivity is normal, high and very high. If i choice very high the the pressure for choice the elements is very force, it isn't delicated

Hi FuulSyst3m
"very high" option in the KaiseTweak app??
If yes, as i already said above it is for TouchFlo, and precisely it change the force you need to apply while using TouchFLO in any app opened, with the scroll-bar showed (like in Explorer, InternetExplorer, and so on), but increasing those options, maybe, can increase the whole screen sensitivity too!
However for more elucidation abouti it, and all other tweaks of KaiserTweak ask in the dedicated main thread !
PS: Download it in the 1st page, but look for new .XML file update, with new tweaks, in the next/last pages!
I download KaiserTweak and the last XML file, but in the TouchFlo section i have tre option of force: normal, high e very high. What options do you have?
Please....

Sorry but i didn't understand, do you want to know my options?
For me all the TouchFLO tweaks are in th "Advised" option:
-Sensitivity -> High
-Finger Pressure -> High
-Scroller -> Enabled
-Sound -> Disabled
TouchFLO is a user interface that detects a sweeping motion across the screen to control the 3D interface and can distinguish between a finger and a stylus.
Try this settings you too, however it depend on your own feel and personal usage on the touchscreen, than if it isn't quite responsive put Sensitivity to "Very High" or "Extremely High" and Finger Pressure to "Normal". I repeat again that this ThouchFLO tweaks are for any app opened (and Cube, if you have it) and if your problem is the sensitivity to the tylus all-roud first try to realign the sreen in your system settings by using the stylus (refer to my post above)!
In my KaiserTweaks the advice options is Nomal in any options. Far have a max sensibility i do the options on very high?
Extremely High"

I don't have this options...
EDIT: se sei italiano parliamo italiano!!

Which tweaks are best??

there are a couple of them
Advance config 2.1 + 0.51
Diamond TF3d config
Diamond config tweak 0.32
which 1 is good?
Try and see for yourself? Also check this thread, right on top of this forum

[Q] Auto-brightness not working: MiniCM 2.1.8 Kernel nAa 10

Hi guys!
I have an issue with the auto-brightness setting, running on MiniCM 2.1.8
It simply does not work
Even if it is turned on, the backlight is extremely dim. Also, the phone does not react to any changes of the light setting.
The light sensor seems to be working, tested with a performance/benchmark tool from the Market.
And yes, I've tried the workaround described in the change log.
Indeed I tried all possible combinations.
Is this a known problem?
Can anyone propose a solution/workaround? Please help
1. enable autobrightness from Settings -> Display
2. enable Allow Light Decrease from Settings -> Cyanogenmod -> Display -> Automatic backlight
3. enjoy the great kernel and rom
Thank you for the hint!
However it does not help - this is the changelog workaround I tried first
I have been toggling all display settings (both generic and CM) but autobrightness never works.
Any other suggestions?
try to check Use customs Cyanogen settings - display - automatic backlight
if this does not help, just do a full wipe and check only automatic brightness from display and enable Allow Light Decrease from Settings -> Cyanogenmod -> Display -> Automatic backlight.
it should work. go near a light bulb and put your finger on the sensor (small circle in the upper right corner of the phone) and take it off and you should notice the difference

Thank you!
After the full wipe it worked!
Before that I was also experiencing various issues (LED notification lights not working, clicking on a given setting would actually open completely different menu, restarts during phone calls) - let us hope that this will be all solved after the full wipe.
Quite interesting, because this was a fresh installation, say I full-wiped before I installed the ROM the first time, but who knows

Custom Auto Brightness values

Hello everybody!
I flashed some days ago the latest version of the Gueste2X ROM (v3.2), and it works great!
Btw, autobrightness it's not that good for me, I would like to edit the various level to fit it to my preferences; I read on Cyanogenmod's forums that in Menu-> Settings-> Cyanogenmod Settings-> Display there should be a config menu where you can edit these levels, but it's not present in my ROM.
Is it possible to edit the framework-res.apk to adjust levels as I want? I read something about it in this forum too, but I would like to know if someone of you did that yet.
Thanks you in advance!
Use the "Touch Brightness" application included in this rom.
Also: CM Settings -> Interface -> LED Notifications
Hello, thanks for your reply.
Seems you are referring to the softkey button, which brightness it's ok for me; i was referring to the LCD backlight. Is it possible to change its brightness, even editing the framework apk?
Thanks again!
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
I am not quite sure. But i think this is not possible on the o2x, coz of some driver issues
its possible, but not with the stock light sensor, but use the front camera light sensor its possible.
try the 'Lux Auto Brightness' app from the market.
Hey Vadonka, I've got Lux Auto Brightness installed on my Optimus 2X running CM7 (temasek-100) with your 3.x Kernel but I can't seem to get Lux to read any of my sensors right?
Maybe I'm using the wrong settings but I find Lux Auto-Brightness to be completely useless for this phone, it always reads "lux" as 20, or "luma" as 255?
Do you have it working properly on yours?
