can some1 tell me what the latest version/build of WM6.5 is because the version numbers in all the roms are confusing me
i see 21500 21222 etc but dont seem to be in any order.
as from what i can gater 21222 is newest?
i know its somthing to do with the full number which is like 21222.x.x.x or x.x.x.21222 version/bulild but no one posts the whole number or says weather its version or build ?

21232 is latest i think
jsut a suggestion
since ppl always dont post the whole version number
ppl all have 100's of screenshots so if all had a screen like this

Took from the thouch IT page.
would be easier to understand
because for examle 21500 is misleading that its after 21222 however 21222 is quoting first 5 digits of build number whereas 21500 is quoting last 5
This version is referred to as 21501. Is that the latest version

That's just weird. Why did somebody use the last 5 and said it was 21500? To confuse...?
215XX is microsoft builds from my understanding, and 212XX are htc builds...

What is the difference from Alcaline's build? What programs/features are added? Both are the same radio and OS versions.

The builds are the same as the Alkaline version. from the images I cant find any differences. Can you please update with what has changed since the alkaline build? or is it just the same but by someone else?
Some items are still in chinese
The build installed great and works BUT, the ENTIRE bluetooth area is in Chinese still. Also the date format is in chinese as well as the VoiceMail speed dial entry. I'm still playing with this but if anybody knows how to get bluetooth back in english let me know.
windows live is in chinese as well. how do i get everything back in english?
seems like there is missing some language files in this rom..
I'm having trouble downloading you'r ROM fron FS2You. Always getting "too many downloads". Is it possible for you to upload to XDA FTP or maybe a mirror.
TIA
I am actually looking for a stable build of this type of ROM for my Tmo Wing. Any Ideas? I searched for Alkaline and it only turned up this page. :-(
Thanks in advance.

When i flash my phone, will this end the garanty on my mobile?
kindly regards Sybren
Foxtuner, yes.
The date on your pic is fxxked up
hi all,
after spending much of my evenings over the past week researching into upgrading/flashing im still none the wiser! (must be all these energy drinks blocking my brainwaves)
i have this one my t-mobile branded kaiser now:
ROM: 1.56.110.4 dated 08/28/07
Radio: 1.27.12.32
protocol: 22.45.88.07h
mobile 6 pro CE OS 5.2.1620 (build 18125.0.4.2)
i would like to flash the stock HTC 6.1 ROM with a better radio in an effort to get my GPS working (as advised by T-mobile shop staff would you belive!)
out of the hundreds of cooked roms/radios i cant choose so am politely asking for advice
should i go the whole hog? or just update the radio and see if that works?
i thank you for your patience and understanding! i really didnt want this to be a 'Wot Am Best?' thread.
Using cooked roms
I've been using cooked roms ever since i found out about them and i've loved them.
They are so much faster than their stock counterparts (mostly) and right now i'm using the ROMeOS latest version.
Flashing a rom will mean you will loose all the data on the device and any configurations you've made though.
Just updating the radio may solve all your gps problems, but the latest (i'd think are best but i have no idea) radios are only compatible with WM6.1 roms.
Anyway, best of luck, remember to read the wiki and search the forum if you need a step by step guide to flash roms and radios.
I can't believe you have the balls to put "DO A BLOODY SEARCH YOU FRIGGIN MORON" in your signature......and then create a thread like this. I could give you answers for your questions, but the irony is that all of my answers would have been things that I've found by searching this forum. The advice in your signature really is great advice.....you should listen to it.
*NUDGE*
If you are looking for Radios, look in AllTheWay's awesome Ultimate Radio thread. Every Radio works differently in different areas. so its going to be a trial by error process. Start with Radio if you want to be cautious.
And Unfortunately this thread is not long for this world. As there is no definite answer and is just another "What's the Best Radio" Subjective Thread.
*THUMP*

Flashed android to my Tilt and I'm stuck with an old bootscreen from a PDAnet rom.
Does anyone have a replacement boot screen that replaces any old one from past roms? Preferably something android related that can be flashed over top of the android rom.

It may be to do with flashing but you have not produced an android or WM build so is not Development... So is general and as stated you could ask in one of the many android dev threads.

Either way, you just have to search for flash splashscreen and you will get the info you need. Or a trip into the Wiki/sticky area.

yeah. XW is Europe code I think. I havent tested it. Just checked sammobile.com some time back and found about this new one. It would be good if someone could provide some feedback. On CM7 right now.

Is there a some kind of changelog we can look at..?? It will be great to have a little better stock ROM after so long..!
P.S. Is this some kind of value pack or basic stock ROM just different region?
Any way to see the changelog?
maybe it has 3.0 kernel lol ok its a joke keep calm xD
Some apps are updated and the footer of touchwiz is now fully transparent. Dont remember XWKTN. I think footer had a black background or semi transparent.
Using this firmware for 2-3 days.
i am too lazy to follow that odin installation...wish we had mobile odin support from chainfire :/
Not more changes in rom
Just 1-2 changes..
But thanx for link

You do know with ktoonsez kernel the last Sammy 5.01 release booted on the tmob. Shouldn't be too much trouble to fix baseband. The tmob kernel calls the modem differently that's all

Im happy with my kk atm but it would be "nice" to have a release geared specifically for T series...
It seems most if not all the other series have seen releases. Even as much as two as seen here...
I can wait... as i have been...
I am aware of the ktoonz kern and its ability to have the f series builds booting on the t series device...
