Hi all
sometimes i see a little white line on the very upper left of the screen.
It is NOT a stuck pixel, because when i rotate to landscape, this little whine line moves to the upper right (obviously looking the D2 in a vertical way): in landscape it is in the upper left.
I don't know if there is a little bug with some programs i installed, but i think its is more the registry changes i did to have a landscape even with tf3d
Who has this little white line near the windows logo in the upper left screen?
Thanks
Bye
I get it sometimes too when i'm viewing photos full screen, so I know exactly what you're talking about. I just restart the device and it goes away but it is a little disappointing
Do you have installed F i n g e r K e y b o a r d 2? I have the same problem since I installed F i n g e r K e y b o a r d 2.
I have seen this and have FingerKeyb2 installed too.
lilHermit
I have finger keyboard 2 too.
But i noticed that it is NOT only a little white line, but a little BLACK square with a white line on the top.
I think thereĀ“s a hotfix on the htc page for this...

In the process of loading software on my XDAIIi, I ended up with a white square beside the start area on the taskbar.
when I tap on it the O2 menue appears down the left side of the phone.
Does anyone know how to be rid of this white square, maybe an area in the registry to edit.
well did u make sure d that ur using the right rom 4 ur device?? if not then dwnload it from da websyt n try re-flashing at the harshest situations wn ders no hope left.sorry if this didnt help..
Hi,
Has anyone experienced this issue? Got a MDA C4 with manila installed. Along the right side of the screen (from top right corner to bottom right hand corner) i can see a faint shadow. After some testing it seems to be the previous menu underneath the current menu.
Example i'm on the home screen, goto messages and send a text using the qwerty keyboard. Back to the home screen, i can see a very faint image of the qwerty keyboard under the Programs hotkey.
When the PIN lock comes on the bottom right is "MENU", i can see a faint "programs" letters icon underneath it.
It happens more or less on every single screen i goto. Is there a fix or is my MDA faulty?
thanks.
I have noticed this also. Sometimes when I use the touchflo across the bottom say scrolling to into "albums" or "weather" then come out and go back to home, the background becomes white instead of the "Manila" Black. The scroll bar along the base of the screen disappears.
I'm not up on exactly how cab files work or sit on top of the base rom, but I presume there is a slight issue. I have found the only way to get it back to the "manila" theme is to soft reset it.
Only way round this is to flash it with a HTC rom, which I will do when I can get a copy of the shipped T-mo rom (to put back on in case of a warranty issue).
Would anyone be able to tell me how I would go about making my own today screen from my own pics pls?
Find pic on internet or Create Pic with Photoshop or something
Size the image to 240x320 using software like photoshop
Transfer image to your Phone by way of ActiveSync
Go to Start>Programs
Click on "Pictures & Videos" icon
Navigate to where the pic is on your phone and open it to view it
Click on Menu>Set as Today Background
I think it then asks you to specify the transparency. By default its set at like 50 so your image will be grey and washed out so change the transparency. I cant remember if 0 is completely transparent or 100 is, you will have to test.
Viola! The image is now on your today screen.
hi, I can already do that but the top but the picture only fills out the majority of the screen. There is a top bar (going across where the "start" is) and a bottom bar (going from "calendar" to "contacts") that remains a different colour. I have it set to windows mobile green, so whatever pic I put in, the top and bottom bars are still green! If I change it to guava, then it goes red.
How can I have my pic fill out the entire screen and not have any top or bottom bars left there?

Hi, you can use VJToggle for reducing or masking the top and bottom bars. Also, dcinobar works well if you want to get rid of only the bottom bar...
Does anyone else sometimes see some kind of black shape in the top left hand corner?
yep, but not for a while
have no idea what it is tho
what do You mean? on the screen? I used to have some artifacts on start menu icon, caused by fingerkeyboard 2.1. sorted by disabling bottom bar hiding.
I have the exact same thing. Comes and goes--I've just learned to ignore it.
bronx is right, it's Fingerkeyboard. If you try to click on this shape, you'll see one letter of the keyboard appearing... Probably a bug !
oic,so its fingerkeyboard. thx
no problemo
I got rid of fk and using resco keys now. much easier to press "p" with right thumb now...
Ok...when i start my phone, while the SE logo is seen, the screen is black with the logo onit. but hthe top two corners are a little different in colour...(not black) like a little green.
BUT, once the phone starts, all is fine..no matter what screen i enter..even the white fish panel is normal...
Is it because of excessive use of the start and task bar buttons on the two sides??
ALSO I use the silver left tab key for the start bar. but i cant find a close button..the silver right button only closes the window, but the program running in the background....any way to solve this....
Okay. So if the colours only appear when it boots, and nothing else, you dont have a problem. At all really. Maybe the logo decided to get funky.
And when you quit the program, some apps do decide to stay open, use the task manager to close them for good.
thanx a lot Ratchetclank...
