Hey!
I have been watching the forums for a while now, and just decided to register. I just updated my phone to Cupcake 1.5 USA version (Non Rooted) and i have two questions.
1. Will i be able to recieve T-mobile OTA updates
2. How do i make the virtual keyboard respond by vibrating?
Thanks in advanced!

Hi all
on the htc dream web site it says that the dream has a Digital compass and motion sensor ..
where do we find these on the phone??
I cant see them
Hiya
You can't see them. But you can use them. Download "Compass" from market and then you can use/see the compass.
Research on how they work by urself.
i cant dont have market
then look up for a APK file of Compass and ADB install it

You can also find some .apks on the net.
To see the motion sensor in action, you can download "Bubble"
Its a level
You can also turn on auto-rotation in settings to use the accelerometer (motion sensor)
thank you for all the help guys
i think the problem is that i have android 1.1 thats why there is nothing under settings for auto-rotation.
how do you install files after downloading them off the net

set up adb if you havent already (guide is posted as stickies and you can search for them as well)
then just
Code:
adb install C:\appname.apk
where C:\appname.apk is the full path to the application
You can also upgrade to cupcake w/ the available updates online

Update to 'Cupcake' 1.5? Of Course! You should have received the over-the-air (OTA) update by now :-S
But anyway, what do you mean you don't have the market?

HI there,
got FroyoMod 2.5.0 running on my Milestone. Just wanted to ask wheter theres an App to see if theres any OTA Update waiting. I would not like to reflash to my old nandroid Backup and check with that... so is there an easier solution?
2.5.0 doesn't got any OTA Check within it (Under Settings is only telphone umber and such, but the OTA Update SEtting is gone... )
Thanks

You will get it to install using FM, but it doesn't create any icon for you to launch.

Thank you for all your kind answers! ^^
I'm 100% positive as soon as there is an OTA available, you will notice a new thread here saying something like "froyo OTA available"
But hey, it could take a while for something like that to happen (an OTA from Motorola)

I was also able to find a link for the 4.3 update, however it still links to the MF3 update page. See the attached screenshot from AT&T's website.

This is the link to the i537 Specifications page that has a link to the 4.3 update. However, when you click on the 4.3 update link it takes you to the MF3 update. So it seems like they're ready for the 4.3 update they just haven't released it yet.
There isn't a way for me to get this update other than to flash it if I am on Tmo using the i537, right?

They either jumped the gun on posting it or there is something wrong with the firmware. I would say they found something wrong with it.
Sent from my LG-E970 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
AT&T PR's response: "Nothing to announce at this time - will keep you posted when the update is ready."
Looks like it's not ready just yet.
Check again.
The link is there and it works.

I have two friends with the L90 (T-Mobile). One already got the lollipop update & has been having problems just getting use to it. She is not at all knowledgeable of these things. The other one is getting notified about the update but I would like to know how to disable so it does not inform or update to lollipop. Any help would be appreciated.
