my idea is i was wondering if anyone would be able to add a sports tab to the tf3d ...and when selected ..can show sports scores and/or news of favorite teams and also update when tab selected....
my question is in regards to the alarm .....
i was wondering if there was any way to make the alarm just vibrate without making the sound? or if someone can point me in right direction ...sometimes i just want it to vibrate to wake me up and not the person next to me ....
You should be able to turn off sound for the alarm by going into the Clocks & Alarms setting

yeah i thought the same thing but when i goto settings it just had sounds no option for vibrate which i thought was weird

get your phone in to landscape mode, then you be able to finger scroll done

This is a request for my Prepaid money, i send the request by "calling" *100#.
At first you get the little messagebox with "please wait" (in Dutch), and after it receives the data (the real message) it plays a very annoying sound.
My problem now is: i cant find any setting for this sound! Not in the normal "Sounds" settings of Windows, nor can i find any *.wav/*.mid/*.mp3 that holds the specific sound on the device.
So, without completely muting my device, does anyone know how to disable this sound?

Yes, that is the weird part...._ALL_ sounds are disabled in both tabs .
I came from China so I don't know if this is my location or whatever but I'm back home now and it still would not go away. Shaanxibaoji is a place in China btw

I've tried deleting my google account and resyncing everything but it's still there.
There are some SW available, which shows caller info on incoming/outgoing call.
Have installed any stuff like this?
Goto Settings > Call > Phone Number Locator and turn off Enable PNL
Seems to be something setup for Chinese Note users that doesn't work anywhere else!

I have had my phone since Sunday, but haven't had much time to really mess with it because of a busy work schedule. I did unlock the bootloader and root, but I have no idea where this icon came from or what it is in reference to. When I swipe the notification bar down, there is nothing there that references it. It has been present for a couple of days, but everything seems to be functioning correctly. Can anyone help me identify the icon and why it's there please? It's the one to the far left in the image below. Thanks.

Since the last update of the firmware i have a little issue
I'm at 90% of time in silence mode so On all my application , i have mute the sound because with silence mode when i'm listening music when i have a notification , for 2-3 seconds the sound become low and after normal
So i cut all sound of app but with the last firmware messenger don't work
I cut sound in the app ,in the parameter of the app like that

It's work but after 5-10mn the sound come back and the parameter sound is "on"
Do you know why ? All other application don't have this problem
I try to go to parameters/ sound and make "none sound" to notification..but same problem

I've been looking for the opportunity for ages. This was implemented in the first MIUI versions. Why they took that out is totally incomprehensible to me.
