I had the geo cam app before I had updated my phone, and it was a really fast camera app. I liked it better then the regular camera app and SnapPhoto. I tried searching for it in the market and cant seem to find it. I think it may have been taken down already. Does anyone know where I can find this app or does anyone have the apk for it?

This app sounds great, only problem it doesn't show up on the market. does anyone have the apk so I cam give it a try.
I'm not very fond of the camera app on MIUI, looking for a third party one if available.
Any fan favourites out there?
Hmm, I was expecting more of a response to this one, can anybody suggest any camera apps, or could someone get me the apk of the default Samsung camera app?
Thanks

Try using
1. Paper camera
or
2. Camera 360 ultimate (recommended)
Thanks, I'll check them out!
Hmm, Paper Camera seemed to be a little cartoony for my liking (very effects based), and 360 wouldn't let me use my front-facing camera
Just looking for a simple camera that can store to my external SD, and preferably allow the power button to take photos
I want to use quickpic as my default gallery and it now is, but the default gallery still launches when in the camera app. Stock galley is nice but don't like the social and dlna integration because they do not work anymore since the apps are frozen. So any way to get it to launch quickpic with the default camera app?
If not what are some good camera apps your recommend?
Ye I wanted this and searched for it..seems it's hardcoded into camera and someone would have to modify it
yup its kinda annoying, maybe if i rename quickpic.apk to gallery.apk it might work.
I also tried a few camera app which all sucked.

No I tried that. It gives you something like application not installed.
Probably because it tries to call a function from quickpic that doesn't exist
QuickSnap is an alright camera app replacement. Made by the devs who made Lightbox (sorta like Instagram), but it's a standalone app. Problem is it has its own preview function that is not tied to the gallery at all, so sharing, uploading, etc. requires actually navigating to your gallery of choice. That part sucks, but otherwise it's better than the stock app (simpler, faster, looks nicer).
hmm its not bad and has a simple UI but does not do video
Anyone else having this problem.
The camera is great with the official HTC camera app. But if you use evernote the camera is blurry when trying to take a shot and wont focus. Get the same with airdriod (weirdly enough though the front facing camera doesn't suffer with the same problem ???)
Anyone have the same issue and a resolution.
Cheers

Hi ,
I was just wondering if anyone knew of an app that takes advantage of some of the new camera APIs in lollipop (burst mode, raw format, etc). I tried using L camera, but it force closes (I think it only works with nexus 5).
any info would be appreciated.
thanks!
The new Google Camera in the play store works great on mine.

I did a lot of digging and that's the only one I could find so I don't think any others exist yet. Also yes same thing happened to me, instant force close.
