I've installed this app on my phone but when I try to connect it seems that it actually cuts off my internet instead of connecting... "No connection".
Since it is a free app check it out and tell me if it works for you: http://yahoo-messenger.en.softonic.com/pocketpc
I've searched the forum but I've found nothing with regard to this matter. Can someone please try this app out and see if it is actually working?
bump? anyone?

Hi all,
I'm using my rooted G1 with enom's excellent ROM and it's working brilliantly well.
We don't have 3G in our country yet (hopefully very soon) and so I got myself a gprs/edge connection today.
But I can't login to gmail or gtalk or any site or app that uses https or ssl. Otherwise, I can search on google and visit google maps and xda-developers forum. This is with the android browser. I also tried it with Opera mini but that doesn't connect to anything at all. I presume that's because it connects to opera's server using https.
I couldn't find anything on the net for this problem nor even on the forums. Has anyone else encountered this error? I'll probably try it on my roomie's cell later on to see if it's being firewalled by my provider, but could it be because of some setting I need to change on the phone?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
try clearing the data and cache in the settings under applications then give it a shot then

You mean in the browser->menu->settings->clear cache, cookies, form data? Nope, doesn't help.
All I get for any https site is a blank screen with the address at the top with a black lock symbol to the left of the address.
Forgot to mention ... everything works fine over wifi though.
Found the problem. It's my network provider. Used a sim from another provider and it works fine.
Hi,
I was wondering whether exists any other market application except the one Google ship?
thanks.
Yes... try SlideMe... you can get it at slideme.org, IIRC.
it uses the google app market to download the apps but you can use
www.appbrain.com and they have their own android app for syncing also. and its all free
Thank you for replying.
For some reason, I can not open market application in my nexus one. when I open it, it either complain about "No network connection thing" or it close without any log or message.
Have you ever faced something like this?
Can you please share a copy of appBrain.apk here?
Thanks.

Hi,
Tried with WIFI and the same thing happens again.
Thanks.
Hi,
Can anyone please share the appbrain.apk for me?
Thanks
Just received my HD7 today.
Downloaded some apps from marketplace and everything works smoothly.
But I suddenly can't access marketplace for some reason.
I am 100% sure that the WiFi is OK. I can browse the internet as usual and use every single app which needs internet access.
But when I try to go to marketplace. This message popped up. "There is a problem completing your request, Try again later. Error code:c00cee25"
I tried to google the solution but I can't find any. Can anybody tell me what's going on here? Thx. =]
Just found out that I can't access my Gmail neither.
It won't sync.
After it try to sync, the pop up says "Last updated about an hour ago. We're having a problem syncing your information. Try again later. Last tried about a minute ago. Error code: 80072F7D"
So confusing right now. @[email protected]

try moving the app from sd to phone and try again.
i too want to know.
I recently installed MIUI v 1.9.30, and despite my previous experiences with MIUI I really like this one, despite one thing.
I've found that while on 3G (Bell Mobility Canada), I can download from the Market and browse Facebook, but I cannot use the browser (Charming Browser). When attempting to load Google, for example, the loading bar will progress about 10% and then stop there.....
Funny thing is, when using Dolphin Browser the same thing occurs, and it gives a webpage cannot be displayed error. I've tried looking in both browser settings but I can't figure it out, because they work fine on WIFI.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
Clear cookies and other browsing history and then retry bud
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't help =/
I went as fat as trying a factory reset and the problem still occurred. I posted asking for help on the miui website but haven't gotten any response yet.
