One more time and you can exchange your device at O2 for another model.
That's how I came from my XDA neo to theXDA terra. Just a hint

No just the second time. lol
And I cannot believe how many new members start flashing a divice as difficult as teh Herald.
For wizard it was such easy and I keept reading 1 year before starting to post and to flash.
And I read ALL Herald related posts befor I start to ask for flashingmethods and then I did all to dump the first official rom for the herald community:
And then I read something like this - that makes me a little .....
I helped a lot of people to unbrick nad flash their devices with the terra rom and answered a lot of questions by msn.
And then ..... from a junior Member. Sorry, but for me indiscuteable.

Don't need to tell me, lately I don't answer questions I at least seen once.
The worst I find is if the thread with the question is on the same page as the one just posted one.
And as you said, the Herald forum is still so small to browse through it,
unlike the Wizard, Hermes, Prophet fora.
Since ignoring those posts like many other frequent posters do,
it kinda makes me smile when people brick the phone out of pure ignorance and lazyness.
Those experimenting for the community I feel sorry about it.

People just don't read anymore. They want it handed to them; they don't want to go out of their way to do anything.
For example in ASERG ROM thread how many people ask same question over and over again? "Oh NOOZZ I bricked my phone, stuck @ white screen, WTF do I do" then when told to use RUU they still don't get it.
I'll admit I am new to this whole game but by reading the topics I was able to figure out how to install the PDAVIET ROM and in the process bricked my phone twice. Worked it out though.
I am pretty excited for HTC's WM6 RUU because then I will start to learn how to cook a ROM.

The easiest thing to do is go to the specific forum for your phone and start reading. Here is the link.

These links will give you plenty of reading to do and should answer a lot of your questions, as well as create quite a few more. Be patient and keep reading.
As far as which is the best wm6 rom, that is normally a matter of personal opinion. Some want a rom with everything already in it, and others want a rom with bare minimums so it is extremely fast. Read the posts and you will see what is available and how other users of that rom feel about it.

the thing is that I don't have password to download ROM, as I said maybe I simply don't know what to write there because I'm new here

I couldn't coneect to the FTP either (And i'm a mod, so its nothing to do with your XDA account )
