Hi,
There are couple apps that I can't uninstall: I run parameter/system/remove programs and I get an error like "This app could not be completly removed. Do you want to remove it from the installed program?"
I hit Yes, but still it does not remove it from the list.
Any idea?
I'm wondering if anyone know of a sort of whitelist when it comes to uninstalling system apps?
I'm running a stock 2.2 Android with root access and would like to uninstall all those pesky stock system apps that come with the Samsung rom. AllShare, Aldivo, Mini Diary, google maps, layar, latitude and so on.
I can uninstall them with Uninstaller for Root for example, but I'm sure some of these might generate errors if you just remove them.

Install Titanium Backup from the Market, this allows you to ackup or uninstall ALL apps.

Without any errors?
I can uninstall _all_ apps already, but I'm unsure if doing this will generate any unwanted errors.
i tryed everything to remove a app but it just keeps showing up
what do i do?
What kind off app? System app, something you download from market or side load?
If you want to uninstall apps that came preloaded that don't have an option to uninstall in the market or settings, then you can use Titanium Backup and force uninstall them. You have to be rooted though.
If it shows up after an uninstall, then not sure why it's doing that.
I just updated my ROM to Beanstalk 4.4.285 and now xposed does not work. It is still showing up as being installed in the all apps list. The app drawer does not show it anywhere. My installed modules are still listed. I downloaded the newest version from the website but it says it is already installed and the signature is a mismatch. I can not uninstall as I do not have the app listed. Anyway to remove it to reinstall?
I'm confused, you say you can't uninstall it because the app is not listed but you also say it is showing in the all apps list. Do you just mean it isn't showing in the app drawer? If so, that doesn't matter. Go to the all apps list and uninstall it from there. Then install the update and it should work.

Going to Settings > Apps > Downloaded does not show it, swiping to the All column shows the Xposed Installer. Clicking on this only gives me 2 options, Force stop, and disable. There is no uninstall option button. I have Clear data, Clear cache, Backup.. but no uninstall

It's a system app, that's why you can't uninstall it from settings. Either uninstall with xposed disabler zip in recovery or with titanium backup. Then install what you want.

The disabler zip doesn't remove the APK, it just restores the orignal /system/bin/app_process.
TB should work, even though the system app will probably come back when you upgrade your ROM.
Disabling the signature check means that the system APK remains there, which I think is not so nice. Plus, it's quite dangerous: http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...-disable-it-with-xposed-and-why-you-shouldnt/
Long story short: These are some reasons why I strongly recommend not to include Xposed in ROMs. I won't give you further support, please ask for help in your ROM's thread.
want to uninstall xposed so I can log into snapchat, but the uninstall button in the xposed app is greyed out with no message regarding it. i'm on cm12.1
i'm blind, delete this thread
