Hide Battery Icon???
Hi guys,
I am using Batty, which is really excellent imho. So the Battery icon in the task bar became useless. Is there any way to hide this icon?

I wouldn't say that everything that goes on TD1 works on TD2. At least in video features. Tried a theme from TD1 which was supposed to work on TD2, it screwed up the display. Some work, some don't ...

use batterymeter. it is much better than batteryicon.
or use batterstatus....
try this one:
Try this small battery meter:
Ariel Battery meter
Very low CPU usage:

SPB Pocket Plus makes a battery icon where the clock goes in the taskbar. I really want that and I don't know how to get it!
He might mean the normal battery meter on newer WM6 builds...
Running late. Post later.
Cool. That batterymeter thing adds an icon to the taskbar, but what I am looking for is something that replaces the time reading on the taskbar with the battery icon that you get when you tap on the time.
Hello folks,
This is my first post, so please excuse my ineptitude/ignorance. I've been searching all day for a Cab that will show my battery level as a %age in the top bar of my new XDA Stellar. I've seen loads of screen shots on here of various customized today pages, many of which seem to have this snazzy little feature. They've even inspired me to download the HTC home plug-in, task manager and HTC home customizer and I'm now loving the new Non-O2 look of my Stellar. I'm yet to find that battery status indicator thoguh. Would someone please take pity on me and post a link before my head explodes. Thanks in advance.
- VistaHide BatteryGauge - Simple Battery meter, nice colors.
- SBSH iLauncher - Great Launcher, multiple tabs, battery meter on top.
- SPB PocketPlus - Another great Launcher, multiple tabs, battery meter on top.
- Batti - ((Thanks to _Alex_ )FYI, Batti eats batteries.)
- Ariel Battery Meter - Replace your Start Menu picture with a battery meter.
- QuickMenu - Really MUST have. Nice cascading Start Menu, and a nice battery meter.
Enough choice, isn't it?
All above apps are, (or can show) a battery meter on top of the screen.

Thanks for that.
I never used Batti, just provided the link to this well known battery meter.
Added QuickMenu link
I personally like Areilbattery 2.
Wow, that was a quick response. Thank you so much. I'll have a play around with those suggestions.
EDIT: ArielBattery was pretty much exactly what I was after. Thanks again guys.
Battery Meter in taskbar?
My friend has an older WM5 device and he has a battery meter in the lower taskbar. Is there a plug in so I can achieve this and not have the HTCHome Plug in on my Tilt just for the battery meter?
Search for "Batti"
I personally like the Taskbar Battery Indicator on the Spb Pocket Plus 3.2 (look it up). The newer version doesn't seem to have it.
I've tried other sucha s the SBSH Launcher which integrates nicely with WM6 and SBSH Pocket Breeze...
Or you can use the Magic Button which provides a thin battery meter above the upper taskbar (besides other functions).

Vista Hide is Awesome
Just a personal thought. I have usd Vistahide for ome time, and it is very nice, small footprint and shows up nicely, And uses almost no resources on the phone.
I like diamond clock, and i'm looking for similar plugin.
HTC home is a perfect copy but is too big for my screen (i use ilauncher and pocketbreeze too).
I find rltoday but the result isnt good, there's other way to reproduce this plugin?
Thank you very much and sorry for my english.

You can disable the seconds from showing on Pocket Digital Clock
i think he is talking about the "Tempus" clock referred earlier, not PDC
you can try rlToday, it works, but it takes a bit of custimzing and there's no fancy animations. but it looks good still!
attached is how mines look.
Battery status
I find Battery status advaced and it is perfect!!!!
You can put the hhc image for htc home and the result is the same!!!
Now i have a htc home diamond customization clock without the other line.
Thank you

Little app makes transparent upper and lower bars
select picture and soft reset ;-)
sorry for my english
Checked me on Touch diamond 2 and work perfect!
how to use!!!
To get the optimal result, you need to use 480х800
pictures(wvga,i don t tested on other resolution)
the program can handle with other resolution, but
the result will not the expected.
the program under development!!!
works on win 6.1 6.5 5.5 x
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511--program to make wallpapers ;-)
Works like a charm...
Just Noticed that, when a larger size image is chosen as a background Image, the program errors out.. Thanks...
can you simply uninstall it and restore to original settings if you want to? this can be simpler option for hdwall.

apart that problem did you noticed that the task bar and menu bar is not 100% transparent?! they are some how 95% transparency!! see the attached image on post #2
Does it work for VGA?
not worked with my touch diamond
Loock good, work perfect in my HD2
Works thanks. You save my times to do it manually!
but the upper gfx seems a lil bit too dark... any advice whats wrong.
Touch Pro | Image use 480x640 and 480x800 produce same issue
Awesome!
This is definitely a lot easier to use than HDwalls. Where do I find the cab that makes the entire slider transparent? I tried the one from the HD2 themes section but that just corrupts Sense (it won't even launch). Thanks!
Thank you SOOOO much for releasing this. I waited for a cab like this for a long time. Much easier to use than having to use a PC application. Works great on my HD2. I want to mention this cab in my next update in my hints and tips thread in Leo forum - if I may.
Works perfectly on my HD .. Thnx!

The cab below will make your slider bar and selection box (the one that follows you finger down the slider) fully transparent...I'm using it now on my stock rom, works great. I think I have a version too where it will leave the slider box visible.
Props to dega for creating the cabs
excellent..... now i have cabs for transparent bars and slider ...i am going to give it a try... thanks so much ..
Couldn’t be more happier with your app. Thank you so much

this is a fantastic job man, was waiting for this for a loooong time, thank you! works fine on hd2, only problem i have is when i have to pick the picture, take a long time to load all images in wallpaper folder (480 images), i understand this, but the scroller bar doesn't work properly, it "jumps"
edit: ok, i divided images in 4 folders, now it's fine
thank you again for this amazing work!
great work man working great in my hd2 thanks
Good work, thank you

i find so many of them, but jest wonder who is the best apps that show the current battery percent, in the task bar or widget...
I actually use extended controls. It's a widget that looks like the standard android Power Control widget. You can customize it to have loads of controls and the battery percentage. I can't remember how much it is in the market, but its definitely worth it.
Sent from my Desire HD
Tnx for the tip. Will try it!

If there's a full root we could modify the framework-res.apk and get a modified battery icon in the notification bar. Way better..
My favorite: BattStatt. It's a widget for your screen. Has various sizes, and shows your battery in words.
Try BatteryIndicator
SwitchPro also does it, and worth getting anyway.
try this,
press screen or enter personalize,
chooseshortcut
then
settings
then
battery use
basic but good

I second this. Very simplistic and nice. Customizable so you can choose a color that suits your current background. Along with Tajm you'll have a nice clean setup on home screen or lock screen (Widgetlocker ($1.99) allows you to put widgets on the lockscreen along with custom sliders. I recommend a looksy).

Thanks from me too, it's great, just what I wanted!
BTW, as I said on the other thread, I just wonder if this (kind of) software could shorten battery life, having to do its duties to refresh all the time?

From the linked topic:
- the Circular Battery Indicator does not use a lot of battery resources, the device broadcasts a message when the battery status changes, the app catches this broadcast and update itself to show the right percentage, it is as simple as that, so it is extremely light weight on the CPU.

Oops, thanks, seems like I was a bit too lazy
I had read about the existence of this 'broadcast' system elsewhere, but I was worried because before of this app I used a widget (BatteryIcon if I remember) that had a 'refresh time' to choose in the settings and so I thought (that) app had to 'ask' the system the actual battery level every time. Seems like this one is much better developed so, good to be known, I like it very much, also the ability to have the 'battery use' page open in a bunch of seconds is just all I need
