Running Breadbox64 (C64 twitter app) on Android 64 (C64 Emulator) - G1 Apps and Games

Has anyone successfully gotten Breadbox64 (twitter app for Commodore 64) to run under the C64 Emulator for Android?

Hrmm. can run it it, but it doesn't get out to send tweets or update timeline. I'm gonna have to look into the ip.cfg file.
edit: I think I need to generate this configuration file so it can get out to the net. Anyone know how to get the gateway info, ifconfig doesn't seem to work in terminal.
Can generate it here: http://cbm8bit.com/contiki/

The is another download page on 58.6.118.18/contiki.html
This page is run from a real Commodore 64. So be nice.

Does such a program exist?

I have serched high and low. I was wondering if there was anyway to get Microsoft Access onto my Fuze. I have a biz that runs on Access, it would be helpful if i could have it with me at all times instead of having to carry a laptop everywhere i go.
I don't think such a program exists. I'm assuming that your Access stuff is a full application with forms, etc? You can probably use something like this --> http://www.handster.com/programs.php?id=2906&for=Pocket PC mdb to update the tables, but I can't see it running reports, etc.
If you have a decent data plan, then one option is to run Remote Desktop to a PC back at base running the Access Application. I've got a Virtual Machine on my server which I can access from my Touch Pro. I can run any app I want on there, and as long as I don't try to do anything stupid (like play a video), then it works fine. This is the only way I could see your Access application working on your TP.
Cheers,
Steve.

I believe the client is built into the Fuze. If you have a custom ROM, just do a search. Several threads have the cab to install it on the Fuze. It has also been built into Windows since at least XP. You have to be a local admin or in the remote users group to Remote Desktop or RDP to your desktop.

Windows 95 using DOSBox

Hey does anyone had booted Win95 using dosbox? (the desktop edition)
If anyone knows how-to then please reply.
I need it for the future Win95-Niki booting.
go to development and hacking thread and do a search
i remember there was a thread for win 95 using bosch emulator
and yes it run very poorly and there is only enough mem to start stuff like paint and notepad
If you search on Google you will find about this, but I preffer to emulate a old 68k Macintosh with vMac
BUT Bochs (for PPC):
-is workin' slowly
-is buggy
-on mine Niki(WWE 6.1; R:1.58.16.27), when execute, nothing happens
if your looking to boot on pc i would try virtual pc.
unless you didnt want to use that?
Another very good VM is VirtualBox. And here is the link for Virtual PC.
But it must be DosBox, 'cuz it's avalaible for PPC
as are all the other suggestions people give
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=362344&highlight=windows+xp
A WORD OF WARNING
you could use bochs to do it.
im trying to run win 95 on xda 2 but no luck yet.
so it might not work

Humm. flyboyovyick2k9 gave you a very nice tip

Android Dev LiveCD

I'm sure all the devs have seen this, but for anyone who wants to tinker, you might look at this site:
http://www.vafeo.org/vafeo/vafeo-1.01-1/vd_android-1
LiveCD / LiveUSB debian distro with android sdk and eclipse. I haven't tried it out yet 'cuz the download hasn't finished. But it looks pretty cool.
Oh, and the download link on that page has a typo, extra 'h' on http://, so copy-paste and fix it.
Very nice find.
Everything already configured too
I currently use VMWare Player (free) and ubuntu and manually set everything up. Took longer then it should.
Great find! get to playing around guys
wow thanks!! i might try that if my ubuntu laptop blows up or something
For Windows users give MotoDev studio for Android a try.
It's a nicely packaged install for a complete Android development environment: Eclipse, Android SDKs, DDMS plugin for Eclipse along with some custom Eclipse perspectives and code snippits. It even handles the APK signing and distribution uploading to the Market. 0 configuration and 100% Free too.
The only thing left to download would be DroidDraw but this isn't even required as Eclipse has support for GUI development (just not as intuitive).

Projecting Nexus One on PC

Hi,
I need a software which will help me project Nexus One Screen onto my PC. I used a Java based software Droid(at)Screen for G1. It is not working for nexus One.
Can anyone help plz.
Thanks in Advance
If you have root, then search for droid VNC server on the market.
even without root, it might work for viewing purposes (i.e you likely won't be able to type or click).
Works well with most VNC client / viewer applications - in fact, you could view it through a http link in your browser without a VNC client if java is installed / working ok on your machine.
Thanks Sd00 for the response. Actually, I am new to these devices, so couldnt understand what you had mentioned. (actually its too much of hightech for me). Can you please let me know what I need to install on the phone or check?
Thanks
Install droid vnc server app from the market, run the app, press start button on the app, read the http it shows you on the screen & type it in to the address bar of your internet browse, waa laa.

[Q] Windows 8 on Android Tablets/Smartphones

I was travelling the youtube and i saw a video where you can actually install windows 8 on your android device.
It's an app that installs the windows via the usb which must be connected to the device.
The app it's called Change My Software 8 Edition
The big question is : Is it real or is it Fake ?
Also if it's real, can you actually run .exe files like windows do ?
Or is it just an emulator ?
Or what is it then ?
That's a good question that I am exploring as well, and I can tell you what I do know thus far. For those that say "you can't run windows on an Atom processor" Google Windows RT. This is the OS that is used by the Microsoft Surface devices. I have yet to find a source to download this OS. It isn't even available on the MSDN network (at least not with my license), so I have not tested this to verify.
To answer the other questions:
Is it real or is it Fake ? Probably fake. If it were real they would charge for it.
is it just an emulator ? From the video I saw it appeared to be a dual boot system, so not an emulator.
if it's real, can you actually run .exe files like windows do ? If real, yes! **EDIT** Do some looking into Windows RT and you will find that you can only run the applications available in the Windows Store. very sad indeed.
For those who may be interested as well, here is a link to the video I watched.
Well... it will not let me post a link so you will have to search "How to install WINDOWS 8 on ANDROID TABLET/PHONE?? [TUTORIAL]" on YouTube. Sorry!!
Also they have a website changemysoftware [DOT] org
