Dialing Screen Problem
After installation of WM 6.5 when I am trying to make a phone call, using the dialing screen, after typing 2-3 number my phone stacks. Cannot even press the cancel button, just can go out to windows screen (pressing "x" button top right). Anybody has any suggestion?
It is my first pda and I am not very familiar. Any help would be highly appreciated.

WM 6.5???? It has'nt been released officially yet, you must be using a beta in that case report it to HTC and let them know of this problem.
What happens if you run WM 6.1 on it? is the fault still there??
As far as I know all the TOPAZ are being released with WM 6.1, but I could be wrong...

When in 6.1 everything was ok. 6.5 was not installed by me. I am afraid maybe its any setting that need to activate/deactivate

Ok I just upgraded my BA from 2003 to HELMI 1.3 btw its good but I have some problems.
1. I still have this unidirectional problem that I had in 2003 that after a while the sound turns mute and I cant hear a thing except phone calls.
2. In 2003 when the BA was focused on the phone application and you press up it shows you the call history in 2005 it doesn’t (this is very essential to me while driving).
3. Some times when the BA is on standby and I press the power button to wake it up it doesn’t so I have to reset.
Ok I think that’s all but this is still my first day so any help would be appreciated.
4. When i recive a call and the lcd lights is off but the phone it self is running not on standby the lcd dosnt light up.

I dont realy understand this, but maybe this got something todo with closing WMPlayer (Wm10) while its still playin?

yes, in WM5 u cant, but some 3rd app does, EzDial if i'm not mistaken, this app also built in smart dialer that more faster then HTC smartdialer.

well, sometimes its happen, BA takes longer to wake up, but if u wait a little bit longer it will wakeup.

there's some difference between WM3 and WM5, I believe this is your first experience with wm5?

thanxsss and yes its my first WM5. ill try EzDial but smart dialer slows the phone appl i like it but i need the phone appl to work fast. about unidirectional problem ill try to c if its the wmp thats cuzing this or not.

I use S2U2 and have used it for a long time on my Mogul. I never had the issue until I got my Tilt. But when I get phone calls, there is a + in front of the number, and it displays the "1" and the area code, and full number, all in one long line without any seperations. If I change the phone number display in S2U2 it counts the + and the 1 as didgets and messes everything all up. So it seems to be something inside the Tilt that is making it put the + and the 1 in there. I looked in the regional settings, but there is nothing there.
Any ideas? TIA

Nobody has any idea? This has to be something in the registry or something...
I have also experienced this in several of the cooked roms available on XDA, and nothing I changed in S2U2 seemed to fix it.
That being said, the last 2 ROMs I've run do not have this issue; HyperDragon WM 6.1 and NoThrills WM 6.1.
I've had it on pretty much every single rom I've ever used. Though I haven't tried those two.
I just can't believe that nobody here knows where I can fix this...

I have a really annoying Problem with my HTC TyTN II !!!
My Kaiser is always pluged to the Sync- or Charge-Cable on my Desk. It's also slided up, so i can see the Display all the time.
If there is a incomming Call and i'll slide down the Kaiser, the Call will be Canceled!!!
When i unplug it from the Charge- or Sync-Cable the Phone Call will also canceled!!
I've wrote a eMail to the HTC Support 4 weeks ago, but no answer till today...
Is there a Way to solve this issue?! Maybe a Registry Hack or something?!?

with the slide problem that isnt a fault as far as im aware as it happens to me (I must admit that it is a bit annoying)

I just tried to reproduce these issues with my Tilt, and I could not.
When I slid open-and-up my Tilt and then called it, I was able to slide it closed and back to normal with my phone still ringing. I then repeated the steps with it plugged into USB, and still no problem.
Are you still running a stock (unmodified) ROM? I am running a cooked WM 6.1 ROM, and that could be the solution. I only have access to 1 Tilt, so I cannot test the symptoms with a WM6 ROM.
I have the Original ROM...and i think i don't want to cook my ROM...
Uhm...now i reproduced the Problem again and now it works

Just got my diamond today. It's a 1-month used set, but it's still in pristine condition.
Today, all hardware keypads aren't working, except for the power button (the one on the top). and everytime i soft reset the device, enter the programs list, and it will scroll from left-right, as if the right direction keypad is pressed.
FYI I haven't flashed it with any cooked or official rom. I am unable to hardreset the device as the hardware keypads aren't working.
This is my device information.
ROM Version: 1.93.871.1 WWE
Radio: 1.00.25.05
Please help me as I'm desperately typing this thread.

I have similar problem, but not so bad as yours.
Mine is the call button that some times works and some times don´t.
I really would like to know some opinions about the diamond keypad because there´s almost no feedback in the forum and i think the diamond hardware buttons are really bad

You can do hardreset in settings\system\storage cleaning or similiar because my rom is in portuguese.

Now, I am new to HTC and custom ROMs. My friend helped me with flashing the ROM, but no matter what ROM we put on it, one same problem would come up with all of them. When I slide it open or press the power button to wake it up, the screen will remain blank (black), but the keyboard lights up. THe sliding sound will not happen. We have tried 2 different 6.1 WM and 3 different 6.5 WM. From Lite to regular ROMs, but no matter what, we would get the same thing with all of them. There is no determined situation when it would happen, it just does it when it wants to...
Anyone else have this problem and/or know the solution?

Try to use a good combination of hardspl and radio. If you have flashed cooked rom, chefs always recommend which ones work better with their roms. Also, search in the rom's thread to see if these roms have a fix for the sleep of death.
