The HTC screensaver/screenlock program?

Hi Guys
A few days ago I was using one of Dutty's TouchFlo ROM's and it and some kind of screen saver/screen lock, to de-activate the lock you had to slide the bar at the bottom of the screen. The latest ROM doesn't seem to have this, so does anybody know what this application was called? and perhaps were I can get the cab?

Hi im using HTC touch viva, i was annoyed with the blank screen coz this disconnect my internet. Anybody can help me to disable this blank screen program.

When you say black screen what you really mean when your device goes into suspend mode right?
•Go to your battery icon
•Select the Advance Tab
•From here change your settings
Done!

loving the S2U2.
the S2U2 is a fantastic app, very smooth and just works! does anyone know of a screenlock app for WM6.1 that locks the screen but still allows kids to paint or draw? there are apps on the htc hero and samsung moment, but im having trbl finding one for my touch.

Screen saver for HTC Tilt 2
Hi. I'm sure this question has been posted already but is there a screensaver function for the tilt 2 and if so how do I activate it? Thanks in advance.

see from here , to activate it you must install Flash Lite on the device first

Anyone have the battery meter with % in it?

I found this battery meter built in to the Viet ROM and can't find a stand-alone cab for it. Anyone know where I can find it and how to put it in my fave ROM?

Just noticed that the link I gave is not exactly the same, there is no "bar" on the right side of the battery meter (see pic below).
I installed it anyway on my Kaiser, looks and work great .

Thanks for the find, this one works ok. Have you noticed it changes the E for edge to 3G? Weird thing to build in...

Actually I noticed something else! I noticed it installed in fact new layouts for the call history as well as for the PIN dialpad :O ! It looks nice but was unexpected.
THe icon change, I would have to look into it .

I had to uninstall this app, it changed way to many things other than just the battery meter. Still on the search for the one in the Viet ROM.
Anyone? Bueller?

Maybe it's my device, but when I try to uninstall this, it freezes. I launch the uninstall process, I see the top bar disappearing as it's being removed, then freezes. After soft reset, the top bar is still.
EDIT: ok, after removing the BatteryLevel.exe from the startup folder, softreseting, then trying to uninstall, it worked because the .exe was not in use anymore

New hotfix somewhat out...

I found this today on htc.com(Date: 2009-05-22):
Hot-fix for resolving TouchFLO the top part of the item descriptions under Communications (WiFi, Bluetooth, phone, data) are slightly cut off.
If you move to the Settings tab in TouchFLO, the top part of the item descriptions under Communications (WiFi, Bluetooth, phone, data) are slightly cut off. If this happens, please download this hotfix to solve the problem.

While this is good and all, it seems they haven't uploaded the file yet.

Yeah, seen it, but never encountered the bug myself. Not sure if I should update.

I actually didn't notice this bug on my Diamond2 until they posted this hotfix. You have to look more closely on the screen to see the slightly cutoff "WiFi, Bluetooth, phone, data" display.

There are SO many bugs in the device, this is the last one I was thinking about. In the last couple of days I was e-mailing HTC's tech-support like a nut. Hopefully they will do something to fix all of them.

That's a picture from my own phone... As you can see it's a small line just at the top of the words WiFi, Bluetooth, Telefoon and Gegevens that's missing.
However, it's very nice that they actually post a hotfix, especially if you can't download it...

Now you can download the hotfix from HTC web site

Doesn't seem like a terribly awful bug... but nice to see that they're still continuing to update the Topaz!

In the internet screen.. there is exactly the same..

its so minor i looked over it.

I also didn't notice it.
The fix-file has more than 700 KB ........
Just to fix two screens ? Did they fix more than they said ?

it also appear in Start>All program
in traditional chinese version, this issue is obvious cuz the "letters" in chinese is very complex

[PROBLEM] my hardware keyboard problem

Hi there, i don't know if this problem exist on you guys' ROM, no matter what ROMs i flashed, the problem still exists, which is when i try to type something using my hardware keyboard, everytime after a couple of words i typed, the "."(full stop symbol) will automatically came out without typing it... and i just check out to take some screenshot to show you guys, now even WORSE, it just simply capitalized my word randomly, and somtimes it will just spaced up twice even if i just press the spacebar once, anyone facing this problem as well?

Try updating/editing your dictionary. It seems that it has an entry for that kind of word (where the 2nd letter is capitalized.). Try this link.

thx for the link, i'll try it later, but i think it's a hardware issue, because there are more n more people having the "spacebar" issue which i have it as well in this forum, i can see it everywhere in Raphael forum, so i guess mayb i'll send it back for warranty if i could...

Yeah. I'm having that 'space' issue either. It's accumulating dust. Could be the reason, and I'm going to the (HTC) service guys here in Manila. (there are no replacements here in our country.)

Hopefully this isn't a hardware issue, I have seen the spacebar issue and that has usually always been hardware, but the "." is odd, haven't seen this so much, may both be hardware related if hard resets and random ROM's don't fix it. In this case, if you can get a your keyboard replaced and it still does it then I'm not sure whats going on, I'm guessing it is your keyboard though. These fail due to pressure overtime on the cable directly under the spacebar. It attaches to the keyboard right beneath the keyboard almost and can wear overtime or come unseated or torn slightly causing the keyboard to fail, either that or if you have complete failure the ground contacts may have bent slightly causing the keyboard to fail too. Lemme know what you find out.

EaglesBlood™ rom bugreport or something

Since I'm new here (but reading xda for a while), I cannot post in the dev section, but I'm really like eaglesblood and want to help those guys.
Okay, here's the bug:
turning phone 90°, switching to landscape mode.
locking orientation
pressing power button, locking phone
pressing again, seeing lockscreen (attachment)
moving finger to the top (unlock icon)
it unlocks the phone, and launches the messaging app
It isn't a critical bug, but sometimes it annoys me.
and last: I'm not sure eaglesblood team would notice this post so anyone please repost it to their thread

This was actually a bigger issue than you decribed; we coined it "rotational bug" ...and it has been fixed thanks to my boy CSM. -And yes we follow, see below.

First: Hmm I see, odd. I'll look in source and see whats up. Thanks.
Second: Thanks I'll take a look, seems to be p990-specific since its not doing that on p999. You aren't using any screen resizing app or mod'ing the build.prop right? (if you were to reflash and NOT install anything nor use any TiBackup or similar, its like that stock?) Email Us response please.
Last: Yes we actively monitor the threads and are engaged as often as possible. Needless to say you'll have a better chance of getting these questions answered on the thread by either us or other users... (posting this one is random and a fluke that I came across it).
