*NEW* PocketCM QVGA Diamond Theme (Best Yet) Now 0.25 Ready - Post #47 (Ver 1.2)

All,
This is my first attempt as modding a theme.. I think I did a good job..
I took the PDVista PocketCM theme with PD's permission and modded the graphics. I also got help from DvTonder to correct the mail icon issue with the newer version of PocketCM.
This will work with PocketCM .21 - .23
This looks just like the HTC Diamond, background, pop up icons on the bottom, etc..
If someone wants to do the graphics over, be my guest.. I would love to play more but don’t have the time.. I spend like a week and change to get things where they are now..
Graphics that need to be done over:
Dial pad needs to be done in gloss black
Dial pad "pressed" buttons need to be done over in gloss black
Menu "pressed" buttons need to be done over with the fancy black diamond theme icon (I included it in the zip).
The icons on the main contact menu need to be done over in gloss black.
This theme has a Greatbal Diamond Look.

I tried using the search on here but it sucks. It just brings up a bunch of threads for themes.

What do you mean, lol. Hush your mouth, lol. Many are interested. Your theme inspired me to use pocketcm all over again, lol. Thanks and look forward to more of your work.
Edit: I noticed your theme is a large one, almost a 1mb. Which I imagine the larger the file (theme) the slower it starts up. Nice theme though.

It looks sweet. The only thing that I don't like about it is that I can't see the phone numbers on the contact screen without scrolling down to it.

A little bit too dark for my taste, as I was using a diamond theme but with white background, but since this one doesn't have the bugs my previous one had I'm changing now, thank you and good work

Wow! Just downloaded pocketcm and your theme rocks! I'm a noob.... anyway to incorporate the text messaging from pocketcm into the standard texting from spb shell using one of the themes people have posted... (such as diamond theme?)

I just installed it on htc Touch and the color of the font is BLACK for all contacts. So, I can not see any. The color needs to be set to WHITE. Thanks.

I use it on my Mogul and it seems to be fine. It's not so bad on startup and I found that it only uses up about 2 mbs of memory.

Honestly, i got tired of reading the whole text message and could not figure out how to disable the auto show phone number with contacts option and make it come up when you select it in the options. so i just made it black, i can change it and upload two diff copies for you guys. If someone can look at the code and tell me what the option is to give the control back to the options "show contacts with phone number" i will change it.

Well its not my code so thats prob the reason there are no bugs Thanks to DV T and PD... I just modded the code and changed the pics.

Thanks.. I will prob finish up the graphics since you all like it.. You may want to try a soft reset... I have tested this on my Mogul only.. I can change the highlighted colors if you really want me to.. but it makes it easy to see.. What about two shades of blue??

one problem i have and not sure if other has the same. In the option i check on "contact without phone" but it still show phone number. I would like to only show just the name.

problem with menu that comes up from holding down the far right button. doesnt come up all the way. anyone else have this problem? i would also prefer highlighting that menu in a different color than hot pink. excellent job overall.

Can you change the font for the phone numbers to be white instead of black? Then it would be perfect

this is what i was trying to decribe.i have same problem.also i guess the letter bars between the contacts is supposed to be that aqua blue.i'd like to see that in another color.

This are PNG-Icons in 64 Pixels (VGA) and
NEW ICO-Icons in 48/32/24/16 Pixels

every zip has a seperate folder with Icons with GERMAN text !
- If you need the pngs smaler, resize them with any painting software to 48 or 32 pixels for QVGA.

Man, here you are again with the icons, I'm excited! I just gave my Touch the Diamond overhaul today.
My suggestion on the style would be to either keep it the way you have (I personally use the grayscale effect in UL on the icon touch) or have the icon image in grayscale with the Diamond green font, I believe it's an emerald color.

okay here is another test.
But i think we need some color, but text or picture ? Both would be too much.

Actually , I changed my mind. I just started gettin some of the home screens on my touch, and I would actually much rather use the Opera in red. I would really like to see both. You couldn't really get it perfect unless you could mix it up with the grey scale and the color's.

How about instead of the gray outline, use the green, with the colored icon and black font?

mmh, after some sleeping, i thing the first thought is often the best, i will make some icons for testing with grey text and colored symbols and try them also in vga
question: what iconsize do you need for vga , 64 x 64 ?

definitely both vga and qvga.
My perfect icons would have
1. Color variants: Black and White
2. Highlight/Border color: Green for White, White/Gray for Black
3. No Text, Only Images
4. Images in Gray/Black/White (I prefer un-colored)

as some of you may know i was making about 340 icons for my last set. so making this new one with black and white background would be too much for one man, because this will last weeks or months.
so i will do the white background because i like this clean white style that is so different to all this black styles here in the community.
but i will do more tests and again some questions:
1 do you need the icons also highlighted and for what app ??
2 what size do you need for vga ??

Icons are far too small for Ultimatelaunch. Can you make it 48x48?

They are in 48x48, .ico images have different size sets included in one, did you adjust the size in UL?
Trust me they work, there on my Touch right now.

14 Tabs: Tab slider when pressed shows time and date with name of tab vertical from page to page with big icon (thx Nisse), Notifications on home screen (VM,Cal) show when there's a VM or Appt, wallpapers added.

Cab install:
1. Disable touchflo3d in phone Settings\Today\Items
2. Navigate to cab file and click/run it. Restart if prompted.
3. Re-enable touchflo3d in phone Settings\Today\Items
4. Go to touchflo3d Settings page and choose wallpaper. Wallpaper are installed into My Documents\My Pictures\Wallpaper.
To Uninstall:
1. Disable touchflo3d in phone Settings\Today\Items
2. Go to phone Settings\System\Remove Programs and remove the cab file.
3. Re-enable touchflo3d in phone Settings\Today\Items
Cab also contains wallpapers, look in my documents

Thx for the props, we made it look slick but it was not that simple , took some time for editing files by Showaco and some creative thinking for the theme by me (example MAIL inbox with flag). We've been adding new developments and ideas to make TF3D look different and exciting We hope everyone enjoys. More ideas brewing in the labs

yo godzson could you let me know if im doing something wrong.in the mail part of my touchflo on the envelope there are no words.at the top of the envelope i can just make out some of the words but there faded.other then that excellent work as always.me and my wife both have your theme creation on our pros and your fonts and have been waiting on you to hit us with something new.we really appreciate all the work.you and showaco are a mean combination im sorry forgot to say that i have stock rom touch pro and i used the simple cab you provided. i did try uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck.thanx in advance bro

Could it be possible to make a cab file for me, to install only your beautiful top and bottom bar? That would be superb, cause then I can maybe combine it with my own skin later on..

very nice, i like it a lot.
2 problems im having.
i cant read the emails on the email tab, letters look to be white same as the back.
and in the landscape section....programs doesnt work.
oh weather wont update as well.... couple be cause something else im running, not sure.
when i get on my laptop ill check it more... im on the tp

also, maybe you guys should add a options section to change the font and the color of the font without having to dowload a new cab. i have some walpaper that i like but dont work well with the current font color. be nice to be able to use the same theme since i do like it but be able to change the wallpaper.

[THEME] 6.5 Alienware XenoMorph & Darkmatter Gamma

Hi All,
This is my first 6.5 theme. I've not packaged this up into a cab yet. (if anyone wants to do that feel free) VGA wallpapers and WVGA wallpapers in post #4
I've included installation instructions in the zip along with 2-3 wallpapers/icons for ATContacts and the bronzeres.dll file.
any feedback would be welcome.
If anyone wants other plug-in icons doing then I'd be happy to.

I've also made a skins factory Darkmatter Gamma theme.... will release it shortly

Thanks.Your theme looked gorgeous especially with wallpaper6 you attached.I like it but the wallpaper isn't wvga make it not so good.It seem splited in my device.Can you make the wallpaper wvga?And can you share the windows vista icons (dll) at start menu?I dont know where to find.

Thanks for the theme, but I have problems with the big clock in your theme. I have just small, is it integrated in the theme?

Yeah, I made a small clock icon for the normal clock plugin so it should be fine.
The screenshot shows the CDigital Clock plugin.

My screen shows the "alien" background, icons and the titanium scrolling style, except the "manila style flipclock?" I followed per instructions. Soft rest too, same problem

strange... you have installed Cdigital clock??, you have to install this and make sure it's selected with Chome editor to appear as a titanium plugin on the home screen. This hasn't been skinned though, so It won't make any difference to the alienware theme... you'll just have the "manilla style flipclock"

Has anyone inverted the color of the gtx theme. I like the look but i honestly wish it was black.

I've seen more people requesting this.
The 'problem' is that when you invert it, you will get nearly the same look as the original HTC theme.

Yeah but i love the original htc but i also love some of the fonts and design choices made in your original work.
A combination of stock and your work inverted would be in my opinion perfection. Not to say i'd expect anyone to go out of there way but i'd done a google search and nothing came up.

I think the main point for GTX is having a bright color theme and Black Text Font, which cannot be intefere with the White Text Font in Original HTC Theme. So, demand for the black GTX....? Not necessary

Original Touchflo slider
Hi there!
Does anyone know where can I find the original slider icons (icons+slider background) from TouchFlo3D from Blackstone or any other VGA/WVGA device? I'm trying to find it, but all I have is some modified versions. I have a HD2 and hate the current Sense 2.5 slider look. I'd really love to have good old TF3D... Please, help me with that or at least tell me what to enter in the search engine (I've tried slider / icon / iconset / default / manila / stock etc. in every possible combination - nothing!).
