But the HTCHomeplug only shows 2 icons. and 2 other icons are there but no pictures. Not sure what the problem is.

search for my thread or search registry in the title in kaiser upgrading. in there we've got the keys for all 4 icons plus the batt and rotation icons (like on the tilt) or you can add other icons to it like ie file explorer or other programs on your storage card if you need additional help ask on that thread. search is your friend

I wanted to know... What you install post flash?
What mod?
What App? (post your cab list..)
What Reg?
What tweak?
Prefer the Stock manila 2.5 look?
Prefer the transparant look?
What folders do you create in Start Menu?
Prefer the manila menu in explorer/WM menu?
What icons do you alter?
What do you find annoying?
What taskbar icons do you like most?
What titlebar icons do you like most?
Start menu 3 icons? or start menu 4 icons?
Home screen 12 links? 16 links? 20 links? (3, 4 or 5 home screen icons)
Once I get enough input from you all... I will attempt to create a rom for us all that has the least needed post install mods....

im trying to cook rom to since today and been playing arround whit it today whitout any big succes
second i like transparent and as much modified as possible
4 row startmenu whit folders and on the home screen 4 row quicklink
i load a topbar and neos his driverpack and maxmanila
furthermore tom tom and a font and further some cabs theat change icons and colors arround the rom

the problem with customising it greatly is that its gonna be customised to the taste of the cook and this will really affect your potential audience. i think its best to stick with the neutral looking interface that comes with the devices and allow the user to customise themselves or atleast allow the user to be able to remove the customisations. personally, i prefer a ROM to look stock, but have under the hood customisations, like speed or say with opera for example, maybe increasing number of tabs, buffer size etc.
i install spb backup, nodata, make some registry edits (auto lock if wm6.5 is concerned and disabling gsensor in album as it slows it down), igo8, coreplayer, opera flash fix, google maps and then any games (bejewelled, spb quads, tower defense etc.)

Rom dev temp on hold... due to another option being looked at with the admins.. and if so.. what a huge development it would be.
I will know more in a couple of weeks.. but you will all know when its time. Please don't ask.. as I won't tell.
K so i wanted to put the fallout theme on my htc pure but dont know where to start. I hear alot about manila and i have no idea what it is or how to use it.Help would be greatly appreciated and a step by step would be ideal. I really want this theme so any help is great.

Manila is HTC's tabbed UI, also called Sense or TF3D.
You select Manila from your today settings in Startmenu\Settings\Today\Items.
Windows default UI is called Titanium.
If its a windows theme,i.e. it changes Top\Bottom bar colors, fonts, etc.
If its a manila theme, you have to make sure its compatible with your version of manila found under Startmenu\Settings\DeviceInfo\Software
Your Manila build will be either 2.1.xxxxxx or 2.5.xxxxxx.
Manila 2.1 has a programs tab where 2.5 has added program shortcuts to home tab.

These two don't work IN A VGA WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1

I know it's not an answer but 6.1 is really old and your choices are very limited

If you want to just change folder icons, try using IconXT, I've been using it for years, and it works well.
