Any mod or tutorial to disable auto brightness when using camera app?
The one gets pretty hot when auto sets itself full 100% brightness.
Hi I am new to Tasker and I found it is really really a helpful app and indeed is only limited by your imagination. I did setup some basic profiles like controlling brightness, rotation and volumes. I am really getting some creative ideas to speed up my tasks. However I'm stuck in setting up a profile correctly so I'm requesting for a help.
Requirement- launching of an app (like YouTube, gallery, mx player ) should change the brightness. But at day the brightness should be higher and at night it should be lower. I'm able to change the brightness when app is launched, but can't figure out how to deal with day night time thing. Please help.
Thanks.
Twilight Plugin from Google Play
I use tasker to turn bluetooth on when i am not at home or at work. I set up a profile to turn the brightness up when bluetooth is on and the twilight plugin says it is daylight.
I also have another profile which turns the brightness down when i am connected to the car bluetooth and the twilight plugin says it is dark outside.
I wasn't satisfied with the stock auto brightness feature on my Tab Pro 8.4 (too bright at night, sometimes too low in day time). I installed Lux Auto Brightness which provides much more control over the screen brightness. With my current settings (Auto day/night profile switch, dynamic brightness adjustment), the default night settings work extremely well but the default day settings seem too bright.
Has anyone tried to optimize the settings of this app on a Tab Pro 8.4? If so, could you post your settings and adjustments?
Is there any way to customize display brightness by app / override default setting depending on the app being used?
Try "tasker" app.
I keep finding location setting changing to high accuracy from battery saving on its own and google play services showing high battery usage. Any thoughts?
Do you take photos or use navigation during the setting? Maybe it changes automatically?
Changes the Location setting to Power Saver then turn both Google Location History and Google Location Sharing to OFF. You need also turn OFF the Location tags in Camera setting if you don't want to use it. Issues may solved afterward....
