Yah, I'm waiting for that too. Need a German T9 dictionary. Let's see if Touchpal will be released anytime soon. http://www.cootek.com/
Found no other that supports French, German etc.

Can anyone recommend a good [preferably freeware] T9 Keypad SIP for the TyTN II. So I can SMS one handed when I don't use the thumboard, it would be great if it matches the grey theme of the TyTN II's dialer keypad.

Fingertouch Pro Is The Best!
Interesting, but that's not even close to the new Fingertouch PRO that I'm currently using.
So why should you use that, when FingertouchPRO is the best keyboard available?
You can use FTPRO in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian or even Greek, and you can also define your own languages. For all these, it also supports an innovative fT9 technology, that makes possible typing with only 1 finger!
Not to mention the other tons of settings and features. I've added the CAB here, for direct download, but better check the webpage at www.fingertouchpro.com
Cheers!
i wanted to use T9 with my diamond but there was no Turkish support for it as standard.
first i installed:
All input languages reg patch
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402121
Then installed the T9 langpack here:
t9 turkish.cab
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=321748
then did a softreset. and changed my language to Turkish. but now full qwerty shows nothing. compact qwerty only writes numbers and normal keyboard writes normally without T9.
also there is a eT9MyWords in my device but i have to manually add words to it.
Hello.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get æ ø å in the full qwerty keyboard. Im using Gen Y R4.4 and I believe it is Nikoan89 Rhodium Keyboard and Ezinput 2.1.
What annoys me is that the T9 dictionary dosen't suggest words like på, nå and small words with æ ø å and I have to hold a or o down to select the letters manually and then it suggests them. I've tried adding it to et9mywords but nothing changes.
So it would save me alot of time writing if I had the æ ø å on the actual keyboard and not having to press down a or o.
Thanks to all people contributing at xda and making it a great site. A late merry christmas folks and a pleasent new year

the sip phonepad got t9 with full danish word guessing
try doing a search and trying it out
Thanks for your reply.
I have been using the phone keypad for a while but recently changed to full qwerty because it seemed logical when surfing and writing alt of url's.
It's way easier for passwords and email than phone keypad but the T9 just seems to use the dictionary in another way when using full qwerty. And from what i've read it is a bug in the whole keyboard package which has not yet been fixed. That's why the easier solution seemed to be getting æ ø å in the actual keyboard layout then it wouldn't be a problem.
I've been searching alot and I know that at some point it was able to have a nordic layout og the keyboard but those tricks dosen't apply to the new ezinput from Nikoan89.

Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me where can i find a good (with "big"keys) touch fingerpad with a portuguese T9???
I've been searching the net but no luck so far...
thank's a lot everyone
You mean T9 like when a key has 3 letters on it? Or just an autocomplete of the words.
Because the autocomplete is the MAJOR problem I have when using WWE ROMs. I lose all the ability to have the words corrected and auto completed because the keyboards only shows words in English as an option.
One of the best keyboards I found is Fingerkeyboard2, but is does not supports T9. Only Windows Mobile word suggestions. I've seen samsung Omnia keyboards (that have a layout with 2 letters on the same key) but I don't know the names of those keyboards.
Hi!
I got the Samsung Keyboard yesterday for £19.99 and have a question about languages.
My tablet is a UK one from Staples and has English and many European langauges, some that I do not know, but I guess Eastern European, and also Korean.
I know I can add Japanese from the Market and have Simeji and Simeji Classic.
I want to be able to switch languages using the LANG button to the right of the space bar on the keyboard, but add-on languages do not show.
Would the only way to make this key function for Japanese be to flash my tablet with a rom that has Japanese built in? I guess so.
I do know how to change languages by pressing in the input area but just wanted to get full finctionality out of the keyboard.
Thanks!
Ofiaich
Not sure if it'll help with the keyboard problem, but try "OpenWnn plus" for Japanese entry - I find it much better than simeji (predictive text especially)
thanks teegee17,
OpenWnn plus is nice but it can't be activated from the Samsung Dock keyboard.
If I install English English, American English, French etc, then pressing the language key on the keyboard dock, will scroll trough the installed languages, but it does not work for add ons.
Thanks,
Ofiaich
