Yeah it is amazing but anyone who signs up has to wait for Beta 2 which they have not announced. I wish they would have designed the touch screen version buttons a bit bigger to assume you are using your fingers and not a stylus. But it is by far the best browser, nothing else comes close.

Seconded... not to mention that Skyfire is garbage since it won't connect to the server more frequently that 50/50.
and the point of thread is?? half of us here can't even get skywire and we all know from reviews that it is supposed to be a great browser.

I have been using it everyday for the past month, I have only lost connection once so far.
The point was referring people to go sign up for the beta, I don't see how that is worthless and people who don't know about Skyfire are never going to find it in a search.
I thank you for cluing me in to skyfire, had never heard about it till now. Will definitely be trying it out.
I would suggest ignoring the thread nazis. Seems they are eager to up their post count by pointing out redundant threads, but when real help is requested, they are nowhere to be found.
I still don't understand why threadspace on this forum is at such a premium that every time someone wants to discuss something they are clamped down.

It works really well on the Tilt over 3G, and watching videos works really well, a lot better than I expected.

Thread space (notice I didn't make the same grammatical error as you) is not at a premium here. However, when someone does not search before creating a new thread, they contribute to making the search function less "functional".
Take Skyfire as an example. You said you had never heard of it before this thread, so you don't see this as a redundant thread. But... if the OP had done a search for "Skyfire" before creating this thread, he would have found the others, been able to post in them, and then it would have gotten moved up near the top of the forum since it had a new post in it!
I'll admit that some of my posts are nonsensical; but I have helped enough people on this site to entitle myself to the occasional raspberry post.
Skyfire does not rock. I can't even watch videos on youtube. The advertisement showed a video of a basketball court. The vid played perfect. I have yet to match that on my phone. Youtube vids play with the lipsync effect. I barely use it. Anyway many threads made about this topic.

Be patiant, it was the same way for me at first, and now the videos play flawlessly for me. Also videos play better using WiFi.

Yup same here,hollywould is 100% correct.At first the youtube videos where a bit choppy, but now they play flawlessly,skyfire is really fast!!! And the reason i posted this tread was so people can sign up if they want to check it out,because it does take some time,it took about 2 to 3 months for me just got it yesterday and boy-o-boy i am happy with it,some pep's have told me that they signed up for it and got it in on week,lucky punk's!!!But o'well check it out for yourself>>>>here

I guess it has been awhile since I have been on, so excuse my outburst. That would be annoying, though I think that some people (NotaTreoFan) take it a little to far when they bash people for these kind of topics. (And Treo, if you are reading this, I know you have not been involved in this thread, you just came to mind) In all honesty I think they need to create a "Social" board, but that is just me.
LOL I got mine yesterday its alright I guess the only time I can get it to work is after 10PM or so and on wi-fi cant get it to work at all over a data connection.

What did I do this time? I didn't start the bashing until other people started their $h!t. If you check my post in the thread your are referring to, I tried to stop by saying that I was done before it causes bad blood and gets personal. When a random a55h0l3 decided to continue the attacks, then he brought it upon himself.

hey guys im a total noob to this,, my camera is soo damn slow in every way almost,,when i takea picture it moves soo slowly or especially when im making a video its like 3 frames persecond,,my wifes LG prada is even faster. soo please helpp

FYI desi_prodigy, the camera on the TyTnII has many known issues. Spending some time reading the numerous threads about it here, and on the wikis will help you understand more.

the reason the camera is slow is due to low light, if you would go to an area with more light, then the camera will function like normal

Looks good but from what I can tell, maps aren't going to be the greatest.
At least there will be a decent alternative to using the google maps which require an internet connection. Sometimes I just want to use the GPS without the additional expense.

It's up and running. Tested today on my way to work.
Where are you suppose to put the Tilepack? I searched and unzipped it into mapnik folder, this took around 1:20min I was wondering if that is normal? Also after doing so I have had no luck with the program it runs smoothly but I cannot get a route loaded no matter what... please help the newb

1. Yes moving the map tiles takes a long time depending on how detailed they are.

I've been using it a bit since yesterday as well. It works, but there is a lot of communication between the G1 and their servers to make things work.
Look in the downloads area for Trek buddy it creates a lot of the map packs. Tiles.
The site is kinda scattered so I would look around in the forum and yes you do have to be a member to see links.
i don't know if i'm stupid or what, but i still can't find a way to download it lol

I know this may seem a little sudden due to me releasing an update of my theme literally 2 minutes ago, but, the timing couldn't of been any worse. I've received some sort of bad news (to me) and I feel I don't have the strength to keep supporting/making themes anymore. Plus, I now have a new job which is taking most of my time up anything. So, due to these 2 statements above, I can no longer create themes as much as I would love to. This is probably the wrong section but I only posted into the SGSII section anyways. I would like to thank everybody for supporting me. Especially Pulser, who forgave me over the Infusion controveusy.
I'm sorry to B3311 & Pele as I cannot support the Black Android Theme anymore, and sorry to my donators.

It's not only that it's just this theming business is stressing me out. Don't get me wrong, I know how to theme like the back of my hand, but due to this news and my new job I only have time for me if you get what I mean?

dont mind the themes. i didnt use them, well at least me. cuz i like stock theme. but i know its a lot of work. i did only 20% and give up cuz i know i'll change it soon. But people using your themes will understand.
