i would like to customize the slider in titanium, could someone upload the file or tell me what file it is in the Windows directory?
bronzeres.dll in \windows
under rcdata
portrait 3000
landscape 4000
so i'm using XN resource editor, i'm new to this- i figured ut how to export the images, but i don't know how to replace them, anyone care to guide me?
use resource tuner...its the best that i know of...its what i use...if you want i can mod the file for you...just give me the images that you want to use and ill see what i can do...if not get that program and change them yourself...
thanks for the offer, but i am here to learn, i got restuner and i opened up the file and replaced it pretty simple, but then after putting it in my windows directory there was no homescreen, so i had to switch back to the original
do the images have to a certain type? restuner said they were .png so i ripped the files from the .dll and they were .png so i opened them with GIMP then colorized them to light blue and then saved them with default settings and but them back into the .dll, do i need to use special settings?
hey no prob...i like to do it and learn myself...i only offer cause alot do not...they just want it done...lol...alright...when saving you have to change and then click save as and put whatever and then add the ext .png...will save in .png and should be good to go...

hello!
i would like to change my Kaiser's dialer/commanager's background image.
anybody know how should i do that?
i searched the whole forum, but i always found questions about this...
i tryed to change some images in dialer's .CAB files, but that is not so obvious for me.
i would like to use this background, and simple black buttons.
thanks,
pulyka
I did this a while ago.
Look inside the \Windows folder on your device using any picture viewer and take note of the filenames you'll need. Transfer the images to your PC and edit them. I had to transfer them to my storagecard before being able to move them over, as my PC couldn't see the Windows folder.
After altering the images to your likings, transfer them back to your device and reboot for the changes to take effect.
Good luck with your skinning project
hmm thanks, i will try it!
I have been trying to make my own theme for the past 48hrs with no success, and it's really frustrating me I started with manila editor which gave me an error everytime i tried to replace one of the manila files with multiple icons i downloaded. I then ran into another editor cfc which has allowed me to at least change the icons but i still really dont understand some of the icons that are included with manila (totally different story)...Back to my issues I would like to know if someone can guide me on making my theme into a .theme file extension because i like to use diamond config tool it just makes everything so much easier. Also i've seen where a cab file will not uninstall and i dont want to have to hard reset just to change my theme.
Also I would love to know how to create my own clock because i'm trying to cook this whole allen iverson theme and i think maybe a custom clock best suits the theme i'm going for so i would probably need to learn how to make the clocks also.
I know it sounds like alot but i really need to get this started so any and all help, tips, tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I think to make a theme into .theme format, just zip all your files and then rename the extention from .zip to .theme. If you take all your manila files from standard tf3d from your phone and save to pc, then you will always have a backup to install instead of a hard reset when you have cab install troubles. That way you can overwrite any files cab installed. To create your own clock, when you look in editor you will see a tab stack and a tab single for clock backgrounds, alarm, and am/pm. Tab stack is the back background and tab single is the front background(clock background is two layers for flip effect). If you want to change digits, you will see the digits grouped , like 012, 345, 678, 9. Change images in your favorite image editor(like photoshop or gimp). For actually changing images/manila files, I use all three editors available depending on what I'm doing. There's Manila Editor, Chainfire's CFC GUI, and 6Fg8's M9Editor. Always keep a backup copy of any files you change, just in case
What program do I need to open up the files so that I can creat my own skins. For startes I want to create a different flip clock but I don't know what program. is needed to open excisting clock files.
Hi,
You can try m9editor or cfcgui.
Especially CFCGui is very good.
Both programs let you convert the files to PNG, so you are able to edit them with any graph software you want.
Good luck!
Hi there,
i searched the forum for a while now for a problem that every now and then pops up for me after reflashing. I'm searching for an automatic way to assign my own thumbnail graphics on the sense internet tab.
I use the manual way sometimes after flashing, but it is not satisfying me, because it takes lot of time to copy the files, rename my original files to the newly created ones and copy them back. So most of the time i don't use the icons...
Yes, i know that the pics have to be 512x512px PNG Files, and i also know that they are stored under Windows\Thumbnails .
I'm searching for where the information for the lookup of these pics (for example {2B1EE4E4-651F-D4DC-708B-DB1319CA381E}.png) is stored. I neither found it in the registry, nor in the filesystem as plain text. I copied the whole file system to my pc and did a in-file-search.
For me there are now to last possibilities where to find them:
Theyre stored as hex values in registry or in filesystem, so that a normal textsearch is useless or
theyre stored in a database file.
If someone has an idea which file it is or if theres another possibility i would be glad to hear it. It makes me crazy that we can change EVERYTHING on our wm-devices since years, but something like the bookmark icons (whch is significant for me) is so hard to find
best regards, Puckmeister
Are you looking for "Custom icons" or just a snapshot of the webpage? I know that if you save the favorite in opera 9/10 and open the favorite from inside opera (from the favorites menu) you will then see the screenshot of said favorite in sense.
I ran into a major issue last night.
This was REALLY pissing me off, you know one of those things that SHOULD be working but isn't. Whenever I view the decompiled apk (framework-res, and systemUI)
The files are decompiled everything looks correct, but when I open the image files in cs5 they look all blurry as hell. I have attached some screenshots. Make any sense to anyone?
Just curious why the images would show up that way once they were pulled into PS. Its not just that image, its all the images. Does anyone know how I can resolve this or even prevent it from happening?
Can I not use Photoshop CS5? Dreamweaver CS5 seems to handle the XML files like a pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try without decompiling - its not needed just for replacing icons - use any zip program to open apks

Tried that too. The first pic is the picture preview in the folder. It only happens when its open in PS. Very strange. I can open it in paint, and the the icon is normal (just loses the transparency, of course).
Open the img with paint.NET first, then save, then you can open it in photoshop.
I think this is an issue with the img being indexed in photoshop, something like that.
It's an indexing issue, ps dies not do it right. Open the images in either paint.net or the gimp. Switch the mode to rgb, save then you can open them fine in ps
What a pain in the ass. Opening them all in paint.net now, this might take me awhile. lol
