Hello guys,
I'm facing this wierd problem on my Touch Diamond.
At times when I change the volume during music playback, the output switches from stereo to mono. This does not always happens and is sporadic. This also happens at times when i'm navigating betwene TF3D tabs.
Note: Restarting TF3D solves this but it's very annoying to stop and start TF3D just for this.
Has anyone else faced this too?
Thanks,
Yes, this has occurred with me as well. Like you said, it's a sporadic problem that doesn't seem to have a specific cause. I haven't found a solution yet either.

Hi all,
I was watching a video the other day on my wing. It is flashed with ttran's excellent 3.0 biggy rom. I'm not suspecting it is an issue with the rom, but after watching a video for about 2 minutes, the video accelerates into an unnatrually fast speed and the audio just disappears. Btw, this problem is happening when I plug in headphones with a 3.5mm headphone adapter i got from brandos. This little adapter has never caused any problems for me before, so I'm just looking to see if anyone here has had a simular problem or if this is a know bug. Also, the audio going out isn't a consistent problem, sometimes it doesn't happen at all, but most of the time it happens at least once.
As always thank you in advance for your feedback

Hmm. I have similar problems. When streaming audio internet radio, sometimes it speeds up where it sounds like the Chipmunks. I listen thru a headset also. I don't know what causes this. I thought it might be the overclocking but as you say it only happens once in awhile. You can change the speed on the player, then change it back to 100% when it goes back.
I also have a very annoying problem. Every now and again it just dials the last number I called. I'll be listening to the radio and all of a sudden I hear Hello, Hello.......... I don't know what causes this either. I try to call my voice mail so it will be the last number I dialed and if it happens, at least I'm not calling someone. I think its the dialer change in the rom.
Hi!
I love the sound of the Diamond when playing Mp3, but I had this issue from the start, the sound "clips" or "pop" or whatever it is called? when listening to music.
I usually turn the screen off, so this could be some kind of energy saver thing kicking in maybe? because it only occurs one or 2 times and then it seems ok after listening for a while.
I have tried Coreplayer, Slide2Play etc, and it is all the same, random clipping in songs, and nothing is wrong with the files.
Does someone know what this could be? or how to fix it? it is driving me crazy.
Running Original 1.37 Rom SWE
Thanks in advance!
Ps. I have used the search function, but not found anyone with this issue.
EDIT: Did a long test today and it happens all the time, I don't know if "stuttering sound" is a more correct word for this, like you pause the music for a few milliseconds and then resume the song.
Have noone had this on their Diamond? I hope the processor power is enough to play mp3 songs eh?
I have noticed some background noice when I play audio files in the music player.
I know from this thread that other people have the same problem but I have not been able to find a seperat thread that cover this.

The problem is easy to hear if you play music through the build in loudspeaker and then turn the volume to 0 while the music is playing. I have notice that when I pause the music the noice will continue for about 2 sec followed by a "click" and then the background noice will disapear (probaly because the device is going to some powersaving mode).
The problem remains with all the headsets I have tryed and are pressent on firmware jm7 and jm8.
Anyone noticed the same problem and more important do anyone have a solution to this problem?
unable to reproduce
i do play music from the building speaker quite a bit, as i keep testing music for my alerts anc custom alerts for each contact
Hi there,
I had this problem also... was playing with the TV out. Once I turned this off the problem disappeared. Have you tried the standard issue headphones... this might also be part of it, Samsung is using a different pin setup
that makes more sense go into settings and make sure the TV Out option is disabled, if you leave it on, it can interfere with the audio output
i recall this being discussed on another topic a while back
try unplugging the usb cable if it's connected...
Hi,
After last update I got problem with listening music through bluetooth devices speaker/headphones. Everything plays fine until got my screen on, turn screen off and music stutter, pause. It's not joy to listen any more. No problem when on 4.1.2 so thing new software problem.
Does anyone struggling as well with that?
I have a strange problem with my head unit sound, sometimes only the front speakers are working especially with apps like google music or soundcloud, the solution i found to solve this problem is to press on the dvd button and then all the speakers start to work.
I noticed that if i switch to th BT to make a phone call it's cause this problem again.
More interesting thing is that Youtube app operates all speakers withot any problem.
There is someone who knows the problem and can offer a solution?

BT calling is front speakers only by default.
