Trouble with CF 3.5 - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

I've had my Tilt for a while now. I haven't flashed it in a long while (it has HTC latest official rom wm 6.1). Today, all of a sudden the calculator won't work. I get a CF error msg.
" The application failed to load required components.
If the .NET CF is installed on a storage card,
please ensure that this card is in place and launch the application again.
If this fails, a re installation of the .NET CF is recommended.
Support info: -2147483647 (80000001) "
I've notice other programs like Klazon, Uno & "Getting Stated" stopped working also and I get the same error msg.
I've uninstalled & installed CF 3.5 several times without any luck fixing this problem.
I've searched here & googled for this error msg, but all errors are related to a recent flashing & that is not my case.
So... any suggestions??? Is there another way/app to erase/uninstal CF more completly? Anything??

In addition
Oh by the way... My copy of CF 3.5 is installed on the device, not the storage card.

Fixed it!!!
OK I got it working again. This is what I did in case you ever find yourself in the same situation.
On another site a learned about The CF 3.5 Power Toys. This is the link to download it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...14-A27D-4148-BF01-86C2E0953EAB&displaylang=en
This program installs the Application Configuration Tool, the file is called NetCFCfg.exe and is installed in the windows folder in the device. You run it & under the "Device Policy" tab I selected "3.5.7283" from the dropdown list there, apply it and that was it.

T-Mobile Note 4 Problem Installing xposed Framework

I am currently using a T mobile Note 4 running firekat V4. After initially flashing Firekat V2, V3 and V4 I successfully installed xposed and was running wanam as well as YouTube adAway. Today I opened the xposed installer to check for updates to my modules and noticed the messages shown in screenshots 1 & 2 that "app version 58 was installed previously but app version "" was installed now" etc.. and "Framework not installed.." I tried to simply download the newer version of the xposed installer, install it, back out and tap framework, hit the install / Update button and reboot but it didn't change anything and I still had the exact same errors.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts the developer of the Firekat ROM tried to help. Over the last few hours he's tried to troubleshoot this with me. He advised me to use root explorer pro to delete all xposed installer files after uninstalling xposed. Redownload and install it and reboot.
Once reinstalled I followed the instructions in the main xposed sticky thread and it is still telling me framework not installed.
One thing i noticed each time I've tried to install the framework since reinstalling is that it asks me for root access even though i hit grant access every time I've been asked. I'm new to all of this but i do not remember being asked multiple times by the same app before.
i have tried to do classical installation mode approximately 10 times throughout the day and 3 times since installing the actual xposed installer app from the link posted here in the xposed forum. I have also tried the other methods of installing through TWRP. On the one method where you install through TWRP from a zip file I was unable to find the zip file to confirm the flash and install. I'm open to try whatever to resolve.
this worked for me
Exact same problem as you and this kernel fixed it

Good luck.
Works this on N910F too ? I have this Problem too

QQi - "The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name"

I previously had a Note 3 (Android 5.0) where I used QQi, an instant-messaging and social-networking application primarily used by Chinese people.
When trying to install from Play Store on the Note 8, I get "Error code -505".
So I tried to download the APK manually and install it, but I'm told "The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name". The package name is "com.tencent.mobileqqi". I can't find any existing package of that name on my device.
I tried a few solutions found online, like restarting then immediately running the installer, or turning the secure start-up on/off. But nothing worked. Has anyone been able to get QQi working on the Note 8? Any general tips for resolving such "package conflicts" errors?
Finally found the problem via ADB (enabled debugging and tried to install the package with "adb install" which gives more clear error messages). Seems QCloud (which was already installed) had registered a permission and QQi was trying to re-register it. So the error message displayed in Package Installer was not very helpful or accurate. Uninstalled QCloud, installed QQi, then re-installed QCloud. This works now

[Urgent] How to upgrade from SUperSU to SuperSU Pro

Hi mates, I've a Samsung Neo device (or something similar), I want to use it as a security cam but I need to change file playlpm into /sytem/bin to reboot phone when power plug is connected.
I've rooted the phone with a package, but it contains the SuperSU free, which doesn't let me write into /system/bin, how can I overcome this? I've found SuperSU pro 2.82 but after installing it I can't open the new app, old still there, I've rebboted but didn't help.
Please I need *any* advice which make me able to overwrite playlpm file! Thank you a lot!
It's getting me mad, I've installed and rebooted
I've forced disabled SuperSU and installed the pro after it, nothing. I an only install but no open, no icon.
I've uninstalled SuperSU, nothing too.
I've intslla Kingroot and it gives an error when I run it.
I solved myself, I don't know if SuperSU tricked me only showing on logs "you need the PRO version to do this" when I tried do write somethin on /system, but after some experiments, like installing KingRoot I've figured out I need to mount on write the /system. I used this:

Lineage OS 17 getting "Magisk is not installed"

I'm at my wits end trying to get Magisk back!
(The backstory is that I had been running a DirtyUnicorns OS for a year just fine, but then Pokemon Go started failing to login. So it was time to update.)
Using a Samsung Tab 4 (SM-T330NU)
Formatted and installed stock OS/boot
Used Odin to flash "twrp-3.0.0-3"
Used TWRP recovery to update to "twrp-3.3.1-0"
Installed "Lineage OS 17" (and added Gapps) - made sure it booted and all was well
Booted into TWRP recovery and installed the latest "Magisk-v20.4"
Wiped cache and rebooted
Installed the latest "MagiskManager-v7.5.1" and got "Magisk is not installed"
After a great deal of searching I learned how this is supposed to be corrected:
Took the boot.img from the Lineage OS 17 zip,
Used Magisk to patch it, creating "magisk_patched.img"
Used TWRP recovery to install "magisk_patched.img" to the boot section
Wiped cache and rebooted
Still getting "Magisk is not installed"
Booted into TWRP recovery and installed the latest "Magisk-v20.4" just in case
Still getting "Magisk is not installed"
This is all after roadblocks for hours a day for a week trying to pass safetynet using Magisk on Lineage OS 16 for about a week, so I thought this fresh start would be easier and now I'm pulling my hair out.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I just want to be able pass safetynet and my ctsProfile match fails. Which I can't even begin to work on without Magisk core.
Thanks in advance.
First thing I would check is if the Manager is installed to external/adoptable storage. The Manager can't work properly like that...

Thanks for the quick reply!
How do I check to see where it's installed and/or reinstall it to the proper storage? Because that could be it.
There's no SD card or USB device plugged in and I couldn't find more information online (I even scoured didgeridoohan.com before posting here).
Also, and this may be helpful, it appears the device is not rooted. Fx file explorer and root checker apps confirm this. So it's possible even with the steps I followed that Magisk core really isn't installed and the apk is telling the truth (I'm just at a loss to know how that's possible after flashing the zip and flashing the patched boot file, both in twrp).
If you have no SD card installed adoptable storage won't be an issue.
You can easily verify through TWRP if the core Magisk files have been installed. Check in /data/adb/magisk. It should contain busybox, magisk, magiskboot and magiskinit binaries, together with addon.d, boot_patch and util_functions scripts.
Seeing the recovery log from when you attempt to install the Magisk zip in TWRP might show us something. Also try the could also be a good idea trying the Canary release to see if there's any difference from stable v20.4.

I tried my damnedest and nothing worked. So I wiped/formatted lineage-17.1-20200512 and installed lineage-17.1-20200419. THIS was the ease with which I was accustomed to installing Magisk (Recovery install and immediately working on boot). Sadly, other problems abound and they are outside the scope of this subforum.
Just in case anyone reads this and cares:
- GPS Joystick was a no-go because apparently Lineage has a not-so-nifty feature that blocks the "draw over apps" android feature if your RAM is below some secret threashhold, which prevents the entire app from functioning.
- Fake GPS can take getting used to, and I'm used to it and love it, but the location and routing keeps crashing in the background, which means pogo closes when I tab back to start it back up again.
- Regardless of which I use I am rubberbanding back to my house... despite using all the tricks I can find or think of (yes, including 'smali patcher', specific app settings, systemizing the GPS app, setting off/on mock locations, etc)... but I think it's because this OS has no unique setting for the GPS data to be "device only".
Problems one and two are due to the ****ty ram on this Samsung tablet, which I've always known was an issue, so I suppose it might just be time to buy a phone specifically for this purpose. From what I read, the best cost effective option is an iPhone SE, and I'm truly not an Apple fan (I certainly would not risk my own phone being bricked or even merely wiped).
Not sure how I used it for the last year without this many issues, but it seems like that's over now unless I want to deal with DirtyUnicorn OS again, and that was it's own nightmare sometimes.
Thanks all for reading, but especially Didgeridoohan for replying and for all the resources on your pages and threads.

[HELP] Hide Magisk Manager (Repackage) upgrades the version over the internet

I have my Samsung A30 (SM-A305F) rooted with magisk canery (87de0e7a) by flashing patched boot img via odin. Now, If i try to hide magisk with random package , it demands internet connection and install the latest version (9348c5ba). BUT i don't want to upgrade as the updated version has weird bug of rejecting SU automatically (with a very brief pop-up). I then need to ---> uninstall the repackaged app ---> Reboot ---> install 87de0e7a version ---> then it become functional again. I don't have TWRP installed. Re-flashing new patched boot requires wiping data. i don't want to do factory reset
Now I want to hide magisk as PUBG MOBILE might be crashing due to root detection. Please help me achieve solution:
(1) hide magisk manager without updating
(2) update magisk manager without that BUG of rejecting SU automatically
1 - Hide the Manager and let it update fully, no way around that. Then replace /data/user_de/0/com.H3.nuhw6UY.GoCgl/dyn/current.apk with the apk of whatever Manager version it is you want to use (and don't forget to set the same permissions and owner).
Edit: replace the package name above with the one your Manager uses.
2 - Seems to be a similar issue reported here: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/issues/2944
If there's anything to be done about it, it will be eventually.
If you can get some proper logs showing the su rejection and add to the above linked issue that would be great.
Note: i previously managed to hide it successfully when there was no newer version. It would just download the same version from the internet and repackage itself with random package name. But some days ago, i restored original manager and now i can't get it to hide.

Thanks for replying. I followed our steps (com.mkhirsnpiw.z.kkt was used instead of com.H3.nuhw6UY.GoCgl). But it again says the same thing, "Upgrade to full magisk to finish the setup. Download and install?". Clicking ok upgrades it again

Did you place the new current.apk file in the same directory and give it the proper permissions (same owner and permission 600)? I just tested and had no issues downgrading the hidden Manager to 285 this way.

yes with MiXplorer.
When Manager updated itself , i tried to update the magisk ( not the manager). But it bricked my phone as it won't start. i had to flash stock firmware via odin. It happened what i feared about. Now, i will try to patch boot img with new version.
UPDATE: I patched and flashed boot img using canary 290. after rebooting , this time there was not that Bug of rejecting SU automatically. Root was functional. But when it asked to do additional setups, it was stuck on setup operation forever and when i tried to hide manager, it showed "hiding magisk manager failed". so i uninstalled canary 290 and installed 7.5.1 (267) . This time additional setup was completed and rebooted automatically. But there was some problem with su access. so i uninstalled 7.5.1 (267) and installed canary 290. Root is now functional and it does not ask for additional setup anymore. (meaning setup was complete?). But still shows "hiding magisk manager failed" when try to hide manager. I don't know what is the problem . I was using canary 284 without any problem. PUBG mobile was runnig without problem. Now I am tired......
