Is there any software to monitor the data connection (GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA) over this TyTn-II...
Yes you need to use the GPRS montior cab. Its on the CD provided with the TyTn2, or else you can find it in duttys cab website, the link is provided in the stickys
Thanks aksd...
I was thinking it would be seperate charge compared to GPRS. I use SPB GPRS Monitor - and after your reply I found that it be used for 3g too

I couldn't find any cabs on duttys cab website with GPRS in the name at all, let alone a monitor cab. I'm on a AT&T Tilt.
I want to try the fee programs first before I spend anything on the SPB GPRS monitor.
I use this, pretty basic though though.

I guess it's a trial but mine hasn't expired yet, but I've flashed a few times and had to reinstall, $10 to buy though.
Is anybody using a GPRS Monitor on this device?
I tried the special version of Efficasoft Smartphone GPRS Traffic Monitor (http://www.efficasoft.com/gprsmonitor_w.html) but i did not work. In the options menu, i ave only wwan1 and that one do not produce any traffic.
Some ideas or suggestions?
Try Spb GPRS Monitor. Work good for me.
Thx for your reply, but is no freeware for this simple task available?

Hi,
I am using SPB Softwarehouse GPRS Monitor on my S730. But I can not select a connection to be monitored. There is no finish Button for selection. Does anyone know how to active this in the registry?

Running a custom setting
My retail Diamond came with the full version of spb gprs monitor on an official CD inside the box. It was originally a ME diamond (now flashed to a European ROM). Maybe certain regions don't include it. Its a good piece of software that I used on my last PDA aswell.
Batterystatus works fine for me. In the options, you need to enable the data counting and select which connections to monitor.
It also needs to be running at all times to monitor. As it's a today plugin, this is only possible if you've got secondtoday running.
I find the best thing to do is use secondtoday with batterystatus on the second home screen, and set secondtoday to auto start when the device does (this way it will always be running)
Hi there.
I'm new to the Kaiser and to Window Mobile. Running WM6.5.
Is there a data counter I can use, so I can keep track of how much GPRS I'm using? Thanks.
Google SPB Wireless Monitor.

Thanks. Looks great, but surely there's a free tool that's less fancy?
spb gprs monitor came with the instalation CD of my kaiser, when I install it it was already registered. maybe should check the CD's that came with your phone.
good luck.
The SPB GPRS monitor that comes with Kaiser is older than SPB Wireless Monitor, but it works too.
Thank you.
Ive got some pretty unpleasant fees from my carrier if I go over my 50mb data limit and their site is really slow to update data usage.
does anyone know of a good ap that I can run to kee track of my in/outbound data usage?
Thanks,
Nic
I use SPB Wireless Monitor
I also use the spb monitor, but its not freeware..
so this could be a good alternative:
PPC Interface Monitor (cant post the link cause I have no permission for that xD) but you can find it on freewarepocketpc.net
havenĀ“t tested it by now.. but the describtion seems pretty similar to your needs i think
greez
Spb GPRS monitor is a pretty reliable program i know your looking for freeware but its my opinion ya know
