hi, I have been searching for ages on google and xda-developers and found no solution so any help would be much appreciated, also apologies if i have missed a solution.
i have a touch diamond and two a2dp headsets that have a 3.5mm output. i want to connect both headsets to my touch diamond so that music plays on both, is there any way to achieve this? i dont mind if one just becomes a slave device and is "stupid" as it were, merely recieves sound. i am not interested in the microphone function of the heatsets either, purely to listen to sound through both.
the reason for this is i have both headsets inside ear defenders which my pillion and i wear on my hovercraft. each headset works fine when connected individually.
many thanks

Dear all,
I have searched high and low for the answer to this on the forums, but can't find anything suitable using the terms A2DP, Jawbone, Bluetooth, Streaming Audio.
I have recently purchased a Jawbone bluetooth headset for my HTC Kaiser. It works perfectly well in the "Hands free" service, but I can't find a service for "Headset" in order to play back audio from Windows Media Player. I would like to listen to podcasts on the way to work/gym/car/walk and also handle my phonecalls using the existing "Hands free" service.
I'm using the Dutty's WM 6.1 ROM, based in the UK, using T-Mobile.
Can anyone advise me on what I need to do in order to stream audio directly to my Jawbone bluetooth earpiece?
Many thanks in advance for your advice!
Buy a Jabra 8040...had the jawbone and its horrid compared to this. Music streams great and the audio is awesome.
Hi sirooga,
I appreciate that you like the Jabra, I've seen one and wasn't that impressed. The Jawbone today has been working very well in all my tests - air conditioning, music, even a construction site can't be heard by my caller. It's so light I can hardly tell it's there.
In any case, I've been messing around with the registry after installing Voice Commander 1.6 and noticed that I'm getting streaming sound to my earpiece. Not sure what I did. I'm going to see if I can break it and refix
I have made a quick review of the Jawbone I received today here: http://blog.evolvedsoftwarestudios....se-introducing-the-jawbone-bluetooth-headset/
I hope this is useful for other Kaiser users.
rofl, if you wanted a headset that stream music to you headset then you should have gotten a2dp headphones. you can however, redirect audio from you ppc to the headset, look at Menneisyys in the wiki, there's something in there somewhere about redirecting sound to a mono headset. i dont see the point of doing that though, the sound quality on the headset profile is just not good enough for music.........just go buy a2dp headphones
I have been searching for a way to do this and I just cannot find a way to do this. I would liketo make it so that all notifications, sounds, etc goes to the bluetooth headset. I am using a Jabra BT150. Does anyone know if there is a way or if this is even possible? Thanks in advance.
No not yet. Maybe one day.
Has there been a "fix" for this in the past few years?
I would love to stream stereo music into a single bluetooth ear piece.
HTC Incredible
Hi, i have spent some time searching now and since i couldn't find this anywhere i decided to post here, hope someone can help me.
Recently, i bought the official sony playstation 3 bluetooth headset (http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Accessories/SCPH-98095) and i have connected it to my xperia x1 through bluetooth (running with itje's touch-it xperience v13.2), the problem is, it only outputs sound for the voice calls, i can't listen to music on it or the normal phone sounds. I know it would be mono sound and not high quality, but i would like to listen to the sound anyway sometimes because its better then leaving it silent.
i have tried in the bluetooth configuration window, clicking in advanced, editing the wireless device profile, thre it was marked hands-free, i clicked refresh and headset appeared, i marked it, then the headset disconnects. when i reconnect it, it auto demarks headset, or it doesnt connect.
I have looked around to see if it was the bluetooth headset problem, but i have not seen anyone else complaining about this or even mentioning it can't play the phone sounds (just some complains about the ps3 sounds not outputing but thats the ps3 fault), and i have also searched to see if it is x1s fault but haven't managed to find an answer as well, so if anyone can plz help i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
thats pretty much because its no BUG.
what u want is a a2dp headset. something tells me that the ps3 headset doesn has this feature. normal headset just route voice calls while a2dp headset route everything.
actually, i didnt use the word bug because i though that might be the case
it has the headset and handsfree profile, not a2dp, but what i wasnt sure if it really needed to have de a2dp profile to output normal sounds, from what i've read it seems it is needed to output stereo high quality sounds, but just sounds with low quality would work for me, thats why im asking, i though the headset profile would be enough for that.
so if i get your message right, unless it has specifically the a2dp profile, there is no other way of making the sound output on the headset, low or high quality?
now i know there might be a way to make it work.
i was listening to some music today using the music player that comes with touchflo 3d, then i pressed the talk button of my bluetooth headset to issue a voice command (with the microsoft voice command program), then the music started playing in my headset while it was waiting for the voice command, once it got the command the music went back to the phone.
Does anyone know any way to make my headset keep playing the sounds, or could at least explain what happens when i press the talk button so i have an idea of where to look to see if find a way?
no one can help me with this? not any tip or a way to select a different output for audio or anything like that?
Also an issue with Audio Gateway
I have tested this issue on two seperate headsets, and so far can get the Xperia to work ONLY as hands free. Seperate phones sperate headsets. The other phone pushed audio thru to the headset whereas the X1 only routes calls.
I also cant find much of this on XDA or anywhere else?
Help?
Regards
i used an ad2p software downloaded from here when i had this issue with my lg ks20. But i havent the gut or im just lazy to try this app on the x1. Maybe u should give that ad2p software a try.
A lot of weeks I have a problem, where I can't find an answer for.
A few weeks ago I bought the Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth stereo headset. This set has an great sound quality, so I'm very happy with this headset.
I hoped that it would be possible to uses this Sennheiser headset in combination with the radio on my HTC TD. But unfortunately I haven't find an answer yet, or it's possible or not to listening radio with a Bluetooth headset on the HTC TD.
So is there anyone knows there is a workaround to let work the radio with a Bluetooth headset?
Tanks.

You cant as the wired headset is the antenna

And do you know or it's possible to use the wired headset only for the radio signal, and use my Bluetooth headset for the sound?

I have been trying to find out how to do just this.
I ride a motorbike, and have a bluetooth crash helmet with buit in speakers / mike which works a treat for answering and making calls and indeed listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the radio via bluetooth. As you have also discovered, the headset acts as an antena but then diconects the sound from the bluetooth headset when connected. I figure that there must be a way to program the phone to use the blutooth headset as the default "speaker" and the plug in headset as only the antena.
I will repost this thread in the Topaz forum too to see if anyone has a solution.
One partial solution that I have discovered is streaming radio via an internet connection. This works, although the connection stream is not always the best and of course there is a data "overhead charge" involved.

no it's not possible to have both a wired headset connected an a bluetooth
even if the wires headset is only acting as antenna

I finally got it to work using the file posted at the end of this thread.
Lovin it!

I am the happy owner of a HTC Topaz.
I ride a motorbike, and have recently bought a bluetooth crash helmet with built in speakers / mic which works a treat for answering and making calls and also for listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the built in radio via bluetooth. Because HTC requires the plug-in headset to act as an antena the radio doesnt work without it.
However when I plug in the headset, i get instant radio reception but then the sound is routed to the plug-in headset , rather thean the bluetooth speakers.
My logic tells me that there must be some way to use the plug in headset as ONLY an antena allowing the sound to be routed by deafault to the bluetooth headset. Surely this is software driven?
I am not a software Guru, but keen to learn and frustrated that there doesnt seem to be a yet obvious solution to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
