Cann't see any unusually things.
I also make a error scan with "hd tune" but no errors where found.
I think this no respons error cames only after the display went into standy. But cant figure it out yet.
maybe problems with swap?
Does any one have an idea?
any help would be welcome!
EDIT: now the logcat says something else:
...
W/SharedBufferStack( 2857): waitForCondition(LockCondition) timed out (identity=26, status=0). CPU may be pegged. trying again.

It seems that the nokia card is incompatible with the g1. I will change it to a sandisk card,
Maybe then all is fine ^^
stay tuned!
I'm also using a nokia card. told by vendor nokia card is made by sandisk. it's the same
i need a fast FroYo or Eclair rom thats good with 3D gaming ......for my G1....so whats a good rom for my g1?
CM 6.1 is pretty good if you mess with the settings a bit. But I'm sorry to say that 3D gaming on the G1 would be sub-par at best. It has outdated hardware and will stutter with most new games on the market.
As raydar said, the G1 is not the right device for 3D Gaming.
You should try the new gingerbread roms...
I dont know about 3D gaming, but Froyo by Laszlo is the fastest ROM till date.

Are you referring to the CM7 rom? Is it "useable" on a G1?

I would recommend not doing anything past android 2.2.1. In my experience, even while overclocking at 710mhz, it doesn't operate properly.
SparksMod2.1 has been the best in my experience.
Here's a link if you want to test it out.

I'm gonna test it real quick, then I'll share how it works for me.
After a few day test, my opinion still stands.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I'm using the super-e rom,i think it is good.
I would day CM 6.1 that's what I used. Android 2.2.1 runs pretty well.
I sent this from my Vibrant!

I am currently on CM6.1, can I just wipe everything from recovery, and go to this ROM without changing the radio or SPL? Radio 2.22.23.02, SPL is 1.33.2005(DRE11000)

As I can tell, u must upgrade both of radios and SPL. Besides, u'll get extra 14mb ram from this. Before this I was on cm6.1 too and after that upgraded my radio/SPL. Since that everything is working quite incredibly smooth.
You should try it, but please read every steps/precautions properly.

I'm on Amon_Ra 1.7.0 currently. So I just have to flash
1) Radio
2) SPL
Both from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831139
Then
3) ROM
Or where exactly are the installation instructions?
U've got it right. All the three steps.
Guide for the rom of course from the rom thread

I am not sure, but probably your /system partition is too small ... You are trying to run cos without having installed the 0013d/2708+ combo. Try to ask roalex, most likely he can help you.

yea according to your signature, you are not using the right spl/radio combo, you need the one mentioned by andisa above^^.
Also, a ext4 parttiion on your sd card is recommended for cosds for leacy a2ext
P.S. link to radio and spl is on my signature as well as Andisa's
thanks i just posted so hopefully someone knows
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098899 this should help you on upgrading your radio and hboot
I dropped my X8 a couple of months ago and ever since it is having trouble detecting the headphones. It will detect them if i insert them in a very specific way (applying pressure to the pins in a specific way) but it is not reliable and takes some time to do. Also it may or may not work with different headphones due to subtle variations to their plugs.
Now I have found that Soundabout and Toggle Headset 2 work to force sound to the headphones but i am convinced there is another solution.
When using aLogcat i found that when the headphones are plugged in correctly and recognized the log will show:
Code:
...
I/hal_seport( 1910): Read RID val = 255
I/hal_seport( 1910): Read CCO val = 0
I/SystemConnector( 1910): Received connection event from device driver: rid: 50, cco_type: 0, plug_status: 1
I/SystemConnector( 1910): Broadcasting sticky intent: com.sonyericsson.systemconnector.ACTION_ACCESSORY_ PLUG, state: 1, name: "Headphone", fm_antenna: 1, power: 0, audio_output: 1, power: 0
I/SystemConnector( 1910): Broadcasting sticky intent: android.intent.action.HEADSET_PLUG, state: 1, name: "Headphone", microphone: 0
I/SystemConnector( 1910): Routing audio in AudioManager. AccessoryName = "headphone".
whereas when it is not recognized:
Code:
...
I/hal_seport( 1910): Read RID val = 255
I/hal_seport( 1910): Read CCO val = 173
I/SystemConnector( 1910): Received connection event from device driver: rid: 50, cco_type: 50, plug_status: 1
W/SystemConnector( 1910): Unknown accessory attached. Rid: 50, cco_type: 50. Audio not rooted to accessory and buttons do not work
This leads me to believe that the phone sees the headphones but for some reason will not recognize it as such, and gives it a different CCO.
What I want to do is change it so that it recognizes it as a headphone with that value, and I want to know where I can set this.
I have found mention of the CCO value in "system/lib/hw/hal_seport.shakira.so\" and interestingly this is in there as well
Code:
hal_seport_get_cco_min_vals[
hal_seport_get_cco_min_vals/CODE]
I do hope you guys are able to help me with this!
It's a hardware failure - you are lucky it works at all IMO..
If it works reliably with a 3rd party app then leave it and be thankful. That's much easier than recompiling..
I have one of these and the BT board is worth mentioning.
My unit is a 10 inch KLYDE MTCC unit for Suzuki Vitara but I saw several models including this board.
These units have a Parrot FC6000TN daughterboard that has two MAJOR improvements over generic boards.
1. Call quality is very good, even with the unit's mocrophone. No longer hisses and voice breaking.
2. Voice command. I have no idea how it is implemented but if you have one of these boards you will have an extra microphone icon on your home screen. The current implementation only accepts 2 commands, CALL and DIAL but it works amazing. As good as OK Google only ten times faster You can see a demo in this video
It's definitely worth a look since this board can do so much more. I found a specs file that says:
The FC6000T is a feature-rich Bluetooth platform dedicated for the integration of Bluetooth in car audios, car telematics systems or any systems requiring a complete embedded multimedia solution.
FC6000T features are:
• Bluetooth connectivity
Bluetooth Power Class 2 Radio

• Speaker Independent Voice Recognition (Optional)
Klyde have mentioned this several times, but you are the first person on here to have one.
Hmmm it'd be interesting to see if this could be installed on boards without parrot installed. My units Bluetooth is horrible =/

It definitely can be installed. My unit had standard BT and the Parrot board was optional. Before ordering I made sure the Parrot BT option actually means the replacement of the internal BT board with a Parrot one. Before buying it I talked to several vendors that were offering this Parrot BT option and found out that some will actually send you an external Parrot BT module

Oh wow! I wish I had ordered one with parrot! Haha do you know if any of the vendors will sell just the parrot module??

The internal one? I don't think so. They only sell it with the unit.

If you knew the name of the Parrot module you could source it from somewhere else, not necessarily a headunit vendor.

Is it maybe this one? http://www.parrotautomotive.com/en-gb/connectivity-modules/fc6000/
Its important to know first what mtc those devices come with, and what is selected in the BT factory settings .
To identify the module and how is connected some pictures of the board would be very helpful

Later MCUs have a Parrot setting under BT in factory settings.

We all know it, it's FC6000TN.

Most certainly. It shows in Factory Settings as FC6000TN and it's the one advertised by most vendors for new units - see Pumpkin. It comes with MTCC units.
I wish I had taken some pictures before setting it in the car. Maybe there will be new users with this kind of setup. If that doesn't happen soon, I'll take mine out and take a few pictures.

Right, the point is you could potentially source it from anywhere.
By upgrading the Bluetooth, isn't the parrot just as handicapped as the other BT modules anyway?
From my understanding it routes all communication through the MCU via serial and the kernel is non standard Bluetooth.
So 90% of the features listed in post 1 probably don't work????

You're probably right, since I've a Parrot BT in my Pumpkin and it's only a minor improvement. Taking away
the internal, making it external, improved a lot as on regular units.

I have been in constant communication with Eonon for about 4 months about adding external USB support, as the internal one is not very good and they would need to reconfiguring the kernel to support such feature.
As long as it supports a common generic BT adapter with BT 4.0 I would be happy.
Eonon ensure me that they do have inhouse developers working on the unit, but it must be in collaboration with klyde as they are all connected.
Funny enough the Klyde units do support external Wifi RTL8192CU dongles, works heaps better than the internal one, so adding external BT can't be much of a stretch.
Be nice if someone found a way to bypass the MCU and directly connect the BT to the SOM (soldering required), kind of like what 7floor does with sound.

Its marketing BS - Eonon are nothing more than retailers - they make no units and have no inhouse development staff.
Have you tried a BT dongle ?

Yep fully aware of the situation as you have mentioned many times before.
And yes I have tried a Bluetooth dongle on the new October firmware with 2.98MCU
Even turned bluetooth off in the MCU and no change, it will not recognise USB BT.
Drivers must have been removed by KLYDE or never added to the kernel at all.

Kylde just make the hardware, the software is made by MTC, so its them who will have removed BT drivers.
Maybe you could ask @dsa8310 to add them to the kernel ?

I have asked DSA8310 before he said no
Agentdr8 sums it up quite nicely as well, this is something the factory needs to add
agentdr8 said:
Since the kernel is not open source, there's very little hope of adding the necessary drivers to support external BT adapters. Aside from that, I don't believe the BT stack that is included in these roms is standard.
I won't say it's impossible, as given enough time and money, anything is possible. But I doubt it's something anyone here can address without the sources.

Right, well maybe the octacore versions will have a different solution.
There are currently some MTCD versions with Rockchip/Intel (1.2 Ghz, 2GB RAM) quadcore boards that have the wifi and BT on the SoM and not controlled by the MCU :
