I was wondering if anyone can suggest or if there exists a program to block incoming calls?
I've only been able to google MagiCall ...
Anyone found a good freeware?

well theres no free lunch in the world...phone suite is good tho and its only 20 bux...and theres more u can do in phone suite than just blocking calls why not download a trial and see if u like it or not
I've been using Magicall for about a year now, first with my 8525 and now with my tilt. There is no other filter then magicall. Trust me if you google you will find it as a freeware. Remember google is your friend. Try looking for magicall ppc warez or something with free maybe you will find. But I don't know if any one here is going to give you the cab. Search and you will find. Again magicall is the best, I tried others but none of them stand up to magicall.

nope i never get them...not that i remember of...so that means even if i do its probably once or twice...but cant u just not pick it up...and just let it ring or silent the ring? i know thats kinda annoying tho

I'm sure that the mods would not appreciate advocating for warez (ESPECIALLY in a developers forum). Anyway, search for Call Firewall here on xda and it should get the job you want done. Although I've been using magicall for a while and have found it to be vastly superior than other filtering suites.
That is what I do right now, I press ignore...
But that means I have to leave it on vibrate or silence...
Very annoying...
again I'm not trying to get on your nervse but try magicall that will get rid of all that. One good thing about it is, they have one function
I use for someone I don't want to talk to (old girlfriends or 1-800 #'s) or I don't want them to here a voice message. This function will pick up the phone and hang up on them everytime they call and you don't have to do anything except sign there number to that function.

i understand how u feel...but as for freeware u gonna have to search...but theres plenty of non free ones...like i said u can download a trial on the spb website and just test n see if it works out good for u..then u can decide whether u wanna pitch out for the program

I know but I really hate when I get calls I don't want, and I know I'm not the only one who feels the same way. But I uselly will send people around xda. So to the mods I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Sorry!!!!

Spb Phone Suite has a new Release Candidate beta 2 if you search in there forum.

I like PhotoContactsPro 5.
It has advance filtering so you can specify how the phone handles each caller (either by group, individual, etc). You can specify the program to either send it to VM, pickup + hangup (love this feature!), send to VM and send a SMS, etc. It can also do group or individual ringtones.
It blows up the caller Pic to a full screen as well. For me, its a must have program. But for $29.99 NO. I think its worth $24.99 the most.
But besides the price, im very happy with this one.

I agree completely! I always search and always recommend it.
To actually ANSWER the question in the original post, I find the Minimal Dialer skin which is on another dialer to be the most effecient in functionality and pleasing in the cosmetic field. I like it so much that I no longer go to my contact to call people, I actually DIAL the numbers. Not even kidding.

I PM'd mods. They moved it after I stated it was in the wrong forum, which post 2 states. I really had no idea when they were planning to move it or if they would even consider moving the thread. Therefore, footnoting on the second posts would absolutely make no sense. However, I did state that I notified mod for removal. Therefore, I do not comprehend how I would be the one that looks dumb. What a bunch of "senior" whine bags! It would be nice if the mods could delete the worthless posts from this thread and let's just stick to the topic.
I am just using the Kaiser dialer for now. Haven't messed around with dialers much yet. I am interested in seeing what is out there though and what other people like to use.
Does need to stay on topic, but is comical.
Nadavi's dialers are probably one of the fastest and smoothest dialers out there, but I do like the new L26 Dialer.
IMO the DxC dialers are the best so far and from what I've seen.
The only problem with DxC Dialers are the troubles for redialing and it screws up when you try to do a conference call.
So I revert back to Dutty's Rom wm6.1 dialer.
We should all post pics of the dialers we are talking.
so... I'm going to start with mine.
I tought I was the only one with that problem with my dialer,,,

It does seem that it would be appropriate for a mod to "sign" when editing, altering or moving a post/thread so as to take responsibility and prevent confusion.

What about button size guys? I find the buttons are a little puny, but I'm afraid that I'll lose functionality (other than straight dialing) if I try a dialer that uses more real estate.

What kind of Dialers are there out there? I've got pretty much stock / T-moby everything, having only modded HTC Home, and would like to see if there's a new dialer I can use? I'm interested in what others are using as well!

When we move, merge or delete a thread, we usually leave a redirect link that will expire after say a week unless it's spam and I personally dont leave a re-direct then. Other than that, the forum doesn't allow us to "sign" a merge, move or deletion. However, if we edit your post, say for warez, language or whatever the case may be, in the lower left corner of the post, you will see who edited, what time it was edited and the reason for the edit.

I have touch 10.9.1 installed. Great. Best rom Ive tried. But... the sms client sucks. Its the original from 6.1.
Can I install leo sms client 2.02? Or a newer, better, but not slow client?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey, i fully agree with the fact the search button should be used first!
nevertheless i'd also like an answer to hos question.
the fact is i have about 8 000 text messages (recieved+sent) and the most of the alternative clients crash or are quite slow when they reach this point of a messaging database size
therefore if someone, somewhere has the same amount of messages and uses an alternative feel free to respond (or PM, whatever).
And no, I do not want a faster CPU (new phone) nor an Android (with his full text indexing feature)

I just got off the phone with support attempting to get my SMS working correctly and they had me go into a menu I had not seen anyone mention in here yet. This is a programming menu that you find on other android devices although I hadn't seen anyone find it for the droid X yet. Here is how to enter it-

It was getting into a menu very similar to this on the Droid Incredible that enabled us to get Wifi Hotspot working without subscription.

Anyways thanks gimpeh...I went through all the settings quickly and could not find any of the settings to get the hotspot with out subscription. I will go through it a little more, but i don't think it can be accessed through this.

It's only an option to enable/disable cmas which has something to do with with emergency alerts.
There is also another menu to access which the number is listed below, which I found in another thread here in the DX forums, but it seems to have been abandoned(the thread I mean).

My implication was the inability to use search with 900+ posts under your belt. Instead just adding to the clutter of repetitive threads; which is unappreciative, immature, and ruin's the community.
Just because you don't see development, you again assume there is little inspiration... that's a little mind speaking.

Actually, since the entire Droid X forum here gets less hits than my personal website (which is unlisted, unadvertised and mostly for my friends and family), discouraging anyone from posting anything that might be additional or useful information is FAR more damaging to any community you might think you serve (FYI, "the community" is not considered "you and you alone" - despite what your parents may teach you).
If YOU (of course, that's what you are thinking of here) don't like it, hit the back button. If you need guidance in locating this tool in your browser, send me a PM and I will work through it with you since I am familiar with pretty much every major browser out there.

When you;

b) Find the back button or the link located at the top of the page that takes you to the message list
THEN you can even begin to talk to me. Until then, let the discussion resume with the big people and you just stay quiet and let other people do all the work.

I have been asked to find a messaging app that will allow you to view all accounts in the same inbox. If you have used a blackberry this is where the request comes from. Just an app that combines sms,mms, email under a master inbox instead of going to each account to check and read.

I haven't tried it, but there is a free give away for Flexmail, which is an older program. I can't tell from the screen shots if it may do what you want.

My understanding is that you can only get WM7 (I assume that is what you mean) apps directly from the MS App Store for WM7 devices. But I don't have WM7 (and don't want it), so I'm not positive.

First off, It's WP7(Windows Phone 7). Second, The person asked about a WP7 app in the WP7 themes and Apps thread and your responding with an old WM app. If you want nothing to do with WP7 that's your choice, but don't troll the WP7 threads with BS. You're a Senior Member, act like it.

Yup, I clicked on this forum by accident and didn't realize it was WP7. And no, I don't particularly prefer WP7 - so I generally stay out of here! I don't have time to "troll" threads in which I don't have an interest.

Only Homer Simpson does that. lol It was an attempt to help someone, but totally misguided. After the op told you he was looking for a WP7 app, you shouldn't have typed anything else. I may be confused, but it seemed as if you were trolling if I use your logic as well.
To the op: there isn't anything for that app-wise yet, but I think you could create a new gmail account and combine all the other emails accounts into that gmail for the same purpose output. Hope this helps and good luck.

Only Homer Simpson does that. lol It was an attempt to help someone, but totally misguided. After the op told you he was looking for a WP7 app, you shouldn't have typed anything else. I may be confused, but it seemed as if you were trolling if I use your logic as well.
To the op: there isn't anything for that app-wise yet, but I think you could create a new gmail account and combine all the other emails accounts into that gmail for the same purpose output. Hope this helps and good luck.

I don't think gmail nor any other web based mail allows you to setup access to other web based mail accounts. Desktop Outlook...but not web-based email.
I'm a tech at a store front sprint location. I've seen other accounts merged with gmail before. I haven't done it personally, but when assisting customer's with their accounts I've seen the option.
