WMP playlist problem

I have a T-mobile wing, I'm using WMP 10 on my laptop that I sync up my playlists thru WMP sync. I have also taken the SD card out and sync up thru my card reader on my desktop. I always get the songs sync'd to my card, but the "playlist" is not there. I got ONE on my phone on accident, don't have a clue how I did it, haven't been able to do it again.
What am I doing wrong? This seems like it should be a pretty easy thing to do and it's getting VERY frustrating.
Thanks
Dump WMP and use the HTC AudioManager. You won't have to worry about a playlist since it gives you a very "ipod" like interface. Unless you really want the playlist, in that case, unfortunately, I can't help you as I don't use my phone for music much and thus never bother setting up playlists.

Syncing winamp music/playlists

I was wondering if anyone has any cool solution for this problem: I use winamp with Media Library plugin. I build my playlist with Media Library. I want to be able to plug in my Tilt, and have it automatically sync all my playlists without any other user intervention. Kinda like an iPod with iTunes.
I don't like iTunes, I could use another mp3 program other than winamp as long as it has instant search and drag-and-drop to playlist. My Tilt runs Conduit Pocket Music.
My current solution involves using "Playlist Sync" (google it). It doesn't work seamlessly because it doesn't like the .m3u8 playlist format. I have to convert .m3u8 to .m3u to make it work, only 2 clicks, but I want it to be seamlessly.
And as a general question for all you music lovers with Tilts: you have a 4GB MicroSD card on your tilt, how do you manage your mp3s?
The latest winamp comes with the activesync plugin. I don't know where it puts the playlists since they don't show up when I sync them. You can use WM5torage to mount the card and use the pmp_usb plugin which is more configurable or remove the card and put it in a reader for faster transfer.
tried that

the winamp activesync plugin still requires me to drag and drop the playlist that i want, then it takes a while to transfer all the songs, even the ones that it supposedly already synced .... ???
Look on the preferences. It has the option to choose which playlists to sync. You must set them when it is connected. It is slow because it's not high speed USB. Use a card reader for faster transfer. Note that you'll need an SDHC compatible one.

Itunes to sync Contacts

Is there a way to use itunes to sync contacts on HTC Touch Pro?

Transition from iPhone/iTunes to LG Thrill - not going well...

i've had my Thrill for 3wks now, and I'm going nuts now trying to transfer my music to the phone and keep the iTunes playlists and songs I HAD CHECKED TO SYNC but not the songs UNCHECKED i didn't want on my iphone...
Doubletwist doesn't sync the to sd micro card, only built-in memory, itunes agent was unsuccessful... what do you guys use, if not iTunes, to sync your music w/tags and album art and all? i don't put every single mp3 i own on my phone, so i don't want to hand pick individual mp3s out of my over 3000 songs to redo the album art and sync them one by one.
i love the 3D of the Thrill, can't get enough - but android and no useful way to transition music, photos, and videos is making me think about switching back... PLEASE HELP.
Try winamp it can import from itunes and will keep playlists, and sync to sd card.

Google Music
Download Google Music to the same machine that has iTunes on it. Upload the playlists that you want to have on your phone into Google Music. Install google music on your thrill. Select the playlist you want to keep available on your phone (rather than streaming from the cloud) and check the box that says "available offline" while you're connected to wifi and let it do its thing.
It works great for me, and also makes it so that I have 20000 of my songs available on every android device (or other computer) I use.

I feel bad that you've had to get used to iTunes. I've done it in the past and absolutely refuse to do it again. Such a pain the ass that program...
Google Music is very nice as it does most of the hard work for you as far as albums and renaming itself. It's also a lot easier to transfer what you want to a droid device. It's also very easy to dump off the device when compared to an iPod or iPhone.
I have an 80 iPod classic. I've never used a phone as a music player besides the occasional Pandora.
i use spotify on pc

[Q] Playlist sync?

hi guys
i love android, but the one thing i hate is that i cant backup or sync my playlists after flashing a new ROM
ive read about on the forums and searched google, got isyncr and tried that, it worked but it duplicated my songs that were in my itunes playlist.
i have all of my music in my sd card organised under seperate artists, isyncr has saved the music from my itunes playlist into isyncr folder on my sd card and so 2 of each song shows up in music player
i was wondering if its possible to just copy a playlist across without taking the songs with it? i already have the songs on my sd card.

UPDATE: ok disregard all of that i figured out how to do it, for anyone who wants to know, download the app from market or google it if you dont wanna pay install it on your sd then connect to pc, choose the application on sd, select playlist, click sync, once its synced go back to your sd, delete all of the music in isyncr folder and copy the playlist files (.m3u and .plb) and just paste those into your music folder. job done, it should now show up in your playlists
