User Dict Editor for HTC_IME - G1 Apps and Games

HTC IME is so popular. Can someone develop an app to edit the user dict located at /sd/ime/tudb.dat ?

Missing menu text in HTC album app

Hello everybody,
after changing some themes for icons and sliders etc. (at least that's what i think that caused it) i have no more text in the context menus in HTC album.
I cannot delete any photograph anymore
Does anybody know what can cause this and how it can be solved?
(Yes, i used the search function, but couldn't find any hint)

Does this happen in both landscape and portrait?
Solved it, i accidently used a 0409 album version on my 407 (GER) Manila.
Had to rename the 409 .mui album file to 407, then it i can see all menu text again!

[Q] HTC_IME

Hi, is there any new HTC_IME with arrows (please see bottom of the attached picture)?
High Res HTC_IME V27 doesn’t have arrows and default one on the HTC Desire HD can’t control the key vibration level and doesn’t have gesture (swipe) actions.
Any help/suggestion will be highly appreciated.
I have asked Gimpsta before about this for my old Desire. Apparently, the HTC_IME with arrows is not opensource, like Swype, so cannot be customised and distributed legally (was discussed a few months ago).
This means that no forums will be able to show links for this, but it does not mean it doesn't exist. I, for one, have not found such files though.

Do you know where to get the code for the open source version?
EDIT: I don't hope that you mean the source of the keyboard from the link posted by OP, because the code for that keyboard only contains the code for some "helper" apps written by the developer. It also contains some decompiled (smali) code of the original HTC Keyboard, not the real java source code.
Bump! IME mod.
I am also extremely interested in this. Is there anyone out there who can modify the currently widespread High res "HTC IME mod" keyboard on other handsets and simply add a new row with arrows?
I've been using the HTC IME mod since it was so masterfully hacked together a long time ago, and would love to be able to use a variation of this IME on my beautiful Desire HD.
If only HTC learned from the keyboards being used by rooters and custom ROM users and included the changes in their own stock input apps!
If only I knew Java and how to decompile!!

Delete or disable unneeded languages and keyboard layouts

Hi all
I was wondering if it is possible to delete or disable unneeded languages and keyboard layouts.
I mean i actually need just English and Greek and not the other four that are available in my Touch Diamond.
Thanx

[Q] Is it possible to add more words to default HTC Sense Input/language pack?

Hi, I'm using androids default HTC Sense Input 6 keyboard with predictive text and it's so frustrating. There are so many nonsense words suggested in predictive text and only half the time when I need "me" or "no" do they appear, among other 2 letter words - and these words can't be added to the personal dictionary. And then there's the automatic [space] after every selection!! Is it possible to decompile and add words and then re install? Would it be the HTC Sense Input apk or a language pack?

extract saved words to SwiftKey

Hey guys,
Is there a possibility to save the dictionary words of the stock Xperia keyboard (the ones in "own words" of the keyboard and not of the Android dictionary) and import them into the SwiftKey keyboard?
Thank you in advance
