[MetaMorph] Post your Morphs

MetaMorph Collection Thread
The purpose of this thread is to create a nice collection of MetaMorph files so that anybody can pick the morphs they like to and create a fully customized phone the way you want it. Since i really think MetaMorph is going to change the way we think about theming and make life a lot easier for both users and themers lets get the ball rolling. So any themer or anybody that has created a morph please share your creations for the benefit of others.
Install instructions for MetaMorph:
First read what Stericson has to say himself.
Next download and install MetaMorph from the market and download and install AndExplorer from the market. Make sure you put the Morphs posted in this thread on your SD card in a folder called 'AndroidThemes'. Point the MetaMorph application to the morph you want to apply using AndExplorer and apply all subthemes or just the bits you like.
If anybody likes to share their MetaMorph files please post them here and i will add them to the openings post. Also make sure that you specify for what ROM(s) the Morph is intended if it's doesn't work on any ROM (also label your .thm file correctly if this is the case!) and specify on what ROM(s) it's tested. Please make sure your morphs are compatible with the MetaMorph application and that you're using the correct .thm file format as described by Stericson. If you have any questions on creating (or installing) the Morph files post them in this thread and i will try to help you. Let's make this thread a nice resource for people looking to customize their phones just the way they like it. If you could add some screenshots of your creations that would be really nice and helpfull to make those choices.
If you use any of these morph make sure to read the comments. Some of these morphs will work on any ROM, some of these morphs are for specific ROMs or even specific setups (like with or without a lockscreen). Also realize that for instance changing the text color or specific APKs might not be reversed by using another morph (and in the case of text color make things unreadable). If this happens flash your original ROM without wiping, or use one of the theme template morphs to revert these changes. If you're not sure if you have got the right morph post a comment and ask.
For now MetaMorph is not able to theme market apps so don't include them in your morphs cause they will break the app you're trying to theme.
At the moment there are issues with a new market update from T-Mobile. If you have any issues after applying a morph and the market giving a FC go into Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications and look for Market in the list. Choose Uninstall update and try to re-apply the morph of your choice.

Nice to hear .
I've updated the OP and added a Hero icon pack.

Next things on my list:
-Create a full theme template for MetaMorph to revert back to stock or for themers to use as an example
-Create community collection packs like a clock collection pack (all the clocks from different themes), a widget collection pack, a battery collection pack, etc.
-Ask the creators of some of the more popular themes for permission to port their themes to MetaMorph
And i am also going to take requests so if you want to see something specific for your favorite ROM let me know and i'll see what i can do.

can't wait till there's more themes that use this. It works great! Much easier than having to restart>recovery>reflash rom>flash them. Strange how my widgets couldn't load without deleteing them off my screen and putting them back there. Not really a big deal though.

Yea, you have to reload the widgets or do a reboot I think...small side affect unfortunately...

Yup, that's pretty awesome isn't it.
I especially like the fact that you can just pick the subthemes from a morph that you like, no need to apply everything like you do when flashing a theme. Imagine making a collection of morphs you like on your SD card and just combining those into your own custom theme.
Whenever a new version of your ROM comes out or you switch ROMs everything is already on your SD and you just have to re-apply it. No need to wait for the themers to update or port their themes.
You are in control .

Very nice, that's a great collection and you're one of the real early adapters .
I guess they are not compatible with the app yet and you need the script version? If so do you have any plans on porting them to the app version?
And finally, if you do port them would you mind if i add a link to your themes in the OP ? That would be great.

It would be great if you could convert the .thm file to the new format so i can add it to the OP.
edit: i can do it and re-up it if you like or send you the .thm file (that goes for any theme btw).

Yup, I started the first day after the script was put out. I played with the app a little and changed one of them for the app. I'll upload it to my site later and give you the link so you can add it to the OP.

When i run MetaMorph i get "zip was not found on your phone. Metamorph needs this to run. Would you like me to download it and set it up for you?" when i click yes i get "The application MetaMorph (process android.stericson.metamorph) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and Metamorph FC.

Im sorry but im about to be really negative right now but someone has to say something. Im really tired of looking through the android theme forums and seeing graphically horrible designed themes. Granted it is hard work implementing the images into android with draw9 patch and so on, but seriously this looks horrible and why anyone would install this on theyre phone is beyond me. No ive been outta the android theme game since the nexus one, but i know have a thunderbolt and planning to come back with a bang. PICK UP YOUR GAME PPL sorry for ranting its just driving me nuts.

I don't know, because these are the app.apk and the framework-res.apk of the NSCollab!
Maybe only a few of these apk files can work on CM7! (the same app.apk that you can find in gapps works surely)
Give me the link of the ROM, so I can make the theme for it too!

a few days ago i just saw MIUI v4 ICS and i really liked it. but there was just one problem! my phone is not supported yet

since MIUI devs have screwed the theme manager in the latest version, you have to apply the theme/icons manually
(this is only for ICS/JB MIUI users only. GB users are not affected)
1.) for my theme only icons work anyway, so first you have to extract the icons file from the mtz
2.) push it to the system theme folder
e.g.

adb push icons /system/media/theme/default/
or
copy the icons file to your phone, and move it with any root explorer to the above mentioned folder
3.) reboot & be happy

1st way
1. got to https://market.android.com/
2. search for app you need and open it
3. for example angry birds:
in the url bar you can see the process name like this

1. download SystemPanelLite Task Manager from the market
2. open the specific app you need
3. press home button
4. go to SystemPanelLite
5. press the desired app name
6. you can see the process name

1. rename your xxxx.mtz file to xxxx.zip now extract everything to your desired folder.
2. rename the icons file to icons.zip
3. rename the icon png to the right process name (see first post)
4. open the icons.zip file and put the png into it
5. rename it back to icons (without .zip)
6. now put the icons file into your xxxx.zip and rename it back to xxxx.mtz
done...

some of you have made a real good job, but you have to follow some rules!
please take a look to the attached picture!
your icon glyphe must be inside the red square, and if you glyph is white or kinda dark/black, use the layer styles!
other then that please dont release on your own dl links/packs and in other forums!
i we like to expand the MIUIv4 style, we have to keep some kind of quality level

*make sure you followed the turorial/instructions as much as possible
(i know not all icons can be done that way...)
*if your releasing more than 2 icons, please put them in a zip or such
(coz it takes like years to collect and rename them!)

Pretty sure the other guys are posting theme templates, as in templates for themes actually for people on MIUIv4. Rather than icon templates and a theme for MIUI V2.3 which what PhysX has posted here.
Regarding the other threads I don't think MIUI China have released the template, it seems people are trying to figure out how to theme MIUI v4 through trial and error.
But back on topic, I made these, I'm not sure any of them are usable I made them in GIMP so I think something was lost in conversion.

why are you writing blue?
however, jambamkin is right, thats not an theme template im offering, thats an icon template. also this is for MIUI 2.3... afaik edu's theme is some kind of official miui v4 theme for miui v2.3.
the other threads around here are trying to make miui themes for miui v4 ics.

not bad at all, but ir looks like gimp is screwing it up a bit. some layerstyles are missing and other stuff like layer masks etc.

Just reporting some bugs I've found so far. The font settings and the wifi settings icons are a different color than the rest of the icons, they're a cyan color. Here's some screenshots of what I'm talking about...
And I also noticed wallpaper scrolling is disabled too. I hope these bugs get fixed soon though! This theme is awesome, great job!

haha, dont even noticed
but im already working with tung91 together to make those icons more miui v4 like, because now they look like default one.
hopefully we can also fix the wallpaper scrolling...
in the next update there also will be some new app icons.

Theme Icon's dont update!!

I just installed fRomFuture - NewWorld V2 and when I try to apply a theme, non of the icons update!
