i am trying to get ride of my at&t stuff on my htc touch pro because i am with fido and i am not able to get on the internet can someone help me to upgrade my htc.
Flash it with a new Rom. I have a AT&T 3g Fuze on the fido network It works great just flash with a rom of your liking and upgrade the radio. the little glitch you might run into is the text messages time is off but there is a cab for that (still looking to where I found it).

Ok, i'll be receiving my T Mobile MDA this week. I want a clean ROM, and the best radio. But I still want all the functions/features to work (MMS, etc.).
If i understand right, it would be using this radio upgrade, the 2.47.11 rom. Is that correct?
And for the ROM, I could use Molski's, or Ell's AKU3.2.
I'm not really sure on all the terminology, like AKU, or IPL/SPL....so some help would be great. I've tried to use the WiKi on here, but some parts are left out. Thanks.

no i'm from the US, getting the US T MO MDA. Looking for a clean rom with nothing in the rom that is carrier specific; i.e. splash screens, color schemes, anything like that. I want the best radio upgrade and the best rom.
May I suggest you live with the MDA at least a month before you flash it? The 2.47 radio rom is the best I've ever used. I'm using T-Mobiles 2.26 rom. If you don't want the custom T-Mobile options that come with the ROM you don't have to load them. Just do a hard-reset and when it says it's loading the custom cabs just do a soft reset and load the ones you want.
I had an MDA before, a couple months ago, and loved it, but had to return it. Now I am porting my line over to T MO, and I remember doing the 2.24 upgraded rom when i got that one...and it was great. One thing I remember not liking about it though was my MMS. I couldn't send picture messages when connected to wifi. Has there been a fix for this?

im not sure there is a fix for sending mms when on wifi. the phone uses GPRS to access the MMS server on the tmo network . When wifi is on then GPRS usually drops. if i were you i would just send the picture message as an email. that way there are no messaging charges. you can send it to their phone # [email protected] and all other carriers have the same type of email set up

Bit of a desperate first post!
Picked up a HTC Diamond Touch last week locked to Orange and unlocked it using Olinex’s solution on here…
Now, I’ve put my T-Mobile SIM and all is working fine… calls, mobile internet… everything…
Well, everything but SkyMobile TV…
The HTC Touch Diamond on Orange supports SkyMobile TV… and the equivalent phone, MDA Compact IV on T-Mobile also supports the SkyMobile TV app… put the T-Mobile SIM into the HTC Touch Diamond however and it’s a different issue! The website says it's not a compatible handset... go figure
From searching there’s about a post and a half from a year or so back now that just kind of died a death… the guy who responded mentioned changing the user agent in the Opera browser, but didn’t quite know what the correct user agent was, lol…
Now, I’m reluctant to flash (I’ll have to, right?) and install the T-Mobile ROM given the bloatware it comes with… but I’m really kind of eager to get Sky Mobile TV on the phone and make those commutes into work a little more bearable!

Problem solved for all those that care, lol...
Went into the opera:config screen and changed the browser user agent to a T-Mobile compatible one... used MDA Compact IV since that's the T-Mobile HTC Diamond equivalent

I hav a bell (CDMA) htc diamond and i want to upgrade the OS to winmo 6.5 since this one is annoyingly slow. Will i be able to upgrade without losing my bell phone service? And which rom would i choose, do i just follow the process used to flash gsm htc diamond phones. Is there a tutorial i should head to?
Also i use active sync, so has that already backed up all my contacts? i have already saved my pics and videos. ther is not much data i want off the phone except the contacts.

I have been combing the forums and searching like crazy for a way to get my MMS to work on T-Mobile USA with my ATT Tilt. It has the stock WM 6.1 on it.
Can someone PLEASE help me and NOT refer me back to searching? I'm about ready to get rid of the phone

Ya, non of that seems to work. I'm sure that someone out there must have gotten this to work...I've had other phones from other provides and didn't have an issue with MMS...
Check to see that you have 3G signal. No 3G no MMS. Also, I'm not sure but does the Kaiser3 (TILT) even support the 3G Frequency of T-Mobile?
Also, SINCE you are using a Stock At&t ROM I have a sneaking suspicion that you won't get an At&t Optimized ROM to work on another Network. Maybe you should flash a Custom ROM and see if that helps.
Ya, i've tried that too, and I can't even get the hardSPL to install...SOOOO i think I'm stuck with no MMS : ( I get the big "E" on my screen for the edge network of T-Mobile.
EDIT: Nevermind, I FINALLY got it, with the help of T-Mobile Configuration tool...

Guys, I have a Sprint HTC Touch Diamond which is flashed to cricket, but I can only talk and text. Is there a way I can get MMS and Mobile web to work? I have tried to install some of the cabs listed here, but none of them has worked. I have tried a couple of Cricket stores and they keep saying they can't fully flash Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. I know there are guys in here who have been able to get Cricket MMS and Mobile web working on Sprint HTC Touch Diamond.

ok this is my first post i just read them for the info i need but i saw your post with no reply.
i did one for my kid got her a htc diamond and i flashed the mighyrom for cricket on it .
the internet worked when we had it activated on cricket. i have read that sometimes you have to call and ask them to reset your acct to get it to work.

short advise comment-- Pegasus ROM for cricket.
Your internet will work, your text will work, your GPS will work.
I got 3.0 PRO running and it was the best most well scripted ROM I have found ever.
I have tried over 50 ROM's easily ffor two seperate HTC phones on cricket. Pegasus by far is the best out of the box.

even the stock sprint rom will work if properly configured.
your epst settings are critical for working web/pix
on the stock rom you have to remove cmguardian before your settings will stick in windows.
