Hey, I am new to flashing, so I am not fully up to date on every aspect, so sorry if this has been answered.
I recently flashed to itje's v12 Touchit rom, and i would rather have hardware keyboard than push support for the Opera Browser.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to get this? Do i just get the standard Opera Mobile cab from one of the threads and install it? Do i need to uninstall the one i have now first or will it just "update" it?
Or other options could be a registry fix? or does 9.7 beta work? Sorry i have been searching a long time and can't seem to find the answer.
thank you
in 9.7 it worx for me
u can have the versions both on ur device
9.7 Works just fine
Thank you for the responses Just installed 9.7 beta, will see how that goes!
edit: Just installed it, 9.7b works perfectly. But i would rather have the globe launch this one rather than the old one. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of getting this to work. I can't seem to uninstall the one that came with it, it just isn't in the list. I have also read that you go to application data/manila and change a reg in there to change the default, but first of all i don't seem to have the key and second what is the exe name for the beta?
Thanks!

Have you read my OM-related articles? In there, I've explained how you can switch OM to full screen mode: bring up the SIP and press Ctl + *.
(You MIGHT also be ablke to do the same on the thumbboard - dunno, haven't tested it. It works on the Universal.)
ive got the esmertec jbed version and opera mini just loads fullscreen by default didnt have to do anything to make it do it
Hi
How can I bring up the SIP being opera showed?
I've got a similar problem. I have an htc kaiser. I'm enjoying opera mini very much. I've read the bible mentioned earlier, but I'm not sure how to bring up the SIP (presumably this is the soft keyboard) from opera mini4. I'm not at all experienced i'm afraid, being something of a newbie, so any very simple guidance would be really helpful. I was very proud that I managed to follow the instructions on making a shortcut and getting rid of the security questions though!
Thanks in advance

Sorry peoples, i had to remove the download link after finding this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401643
Great! Just installed, but found a bug. When I click on a box for input, ie login, password my keyboard switches to the default keyboard instead of my Diamond keyboard. Anybody else running into this?

Yes. But you can switch back to the Diamond Keyboard. But it does that switch everytime you click on a new form.
Although fortunately, the slide-out keyboard now works without issue. So I use that instead of the Diamond keyboard.
does anyone out there even know if there's a place where you can give feedback as far as the progress and other issues w/ some of the opera 9.5 builds? i've run into quite a few things that they need to fix, but going from build 1184 to this is honestly not an improvement at all (prettier skin...thats it)
there doesn't seem to be a place on their forums where you can just talk about problems w/ the browser like you can on the skyfire forums. i could always submit some of the problems as bugs, but they're not really that...looking for a spot for input.
Hi, does anybody with ROM 1.93 has the same problem? Whenever I try to take over my desktop PC with my Diamond, I get the message to install a .cab first. Then I install it, after that I keep getting the message that I need to install it! Whenever I try in IE, it works fine. But I really want to use my Opera browser...
Does anyone know how (or if) I can fix this?
Thanks!!
i have the same problem, its why i still have PIE installed.
I get problems too if i use any keyboard other than the WM default keyboard (you know the one with the tiny buttons)
Oh well...I guess the new Opera version is where the problem lies.
I'll have to use IE then. Lets hope the next Opera version solves the problem...
Hey guys I really want to try throttle launcher for my tilt, but have a few questions. Does this install like flashing a rom, or are their drivers that need to be installed individually first? Also, how stable is the most recent version? I will be using this as everyday software, so I want to make sure it is stable. Also, what is the most recent version and where to I get it? I searched, but couldn't find a definitive answer for where to find it since not many people have posted about it recently for the Kaiser. Thanks.
Were to get Throttle Launcher
I cant tell you anything about it except I saw it on youtube. I use Manilla, it is a cab not a Rom. You do not have to flash it onto your phone. It is a Today Screen type pluggin just like the HTC one that comes with the Tilt.
Here is were you can get Throttle LAuncher though.

all you have 2 do is download the throttle launcher 9.5 beta, unzip and instal both the cab files, its that easy, and if you have anymore questions please feel free to pm me!
go here
i recommend downloading directly from the developer @ www.throrrlelauncher.com
ops sorry www.throttlelauncher.com
Thanks so much. I uploaded it and it works pretty well, but I can't get things to auto update even when the option is selected. I also was wondering if there is a way to get the d-pad to work so I can scroll to different screens like Manila M2D. One last thing, I only have 8mb of space on my device, should I uninstall throttle launcher and reinstall on the SD card? Thanks.
I have tried this application yesterday and found it way too buggy for my taste. It puts my phone to a snail pace oftenly and the config app kept crashing after the first use, rebooting the phone resovled it. The Contacts tab is too limited and getting it to scrool through the list was a chore. Is there a way to change the clock for the home tab to look like the ones in the Widgets?
Considering this is a free beta software, its pretty good but keeping this version off my Tilt till the next version at best.
So, I searched around here, and couldn't find any information on this...
Anyway, I don't like the TouchFlo very much... There's just too much going on at once. I prefer the good old HTC Home... But, when I install the version I have, it doesn't work.
Now I've read on a couple other sites that I might need the VGA version, can anyone confirm this, and if they can, where can I find a copy?
Thanks in advance!
Make sure you disable TouchFLO, and go here.

I just for fun tried that HTC VGA above, and it didn't work too well. Search for HTC home2 and it'll look good on the fuze. That's what I use. HHC works with it, also, although the examples are small.
Edit: finally figured KD8NS' post out above--You don't have to disable touchflo, like just posted, it's TouchFloF3D that you need to disable. Better yet, just use Da_G's ROM, and TF3D won't be there at all!!!
could you link to the file pls?
Fuze Full Qwerty virtual keyboard stuck on numbers
I've installed the NATF's v2.3 rom on my HTC fuze and now my full qwerty virtual keyboard is stuck on numbers. I've tried tapping the ABC button but nothing happens. Does anyone know a fix for this. I've heard there is a cab fix but I'm unable to find that specific cab file
Wrong palce to ask but here you go.
