So I just ordered a MyTouch and once I get it and figure it out I should be able to make my theme available for those of you that use [insert most popular ROM name here] so we will see. I like fresh off the bus noob with the MyTouch so Im gonna need a day to catch up on this newfangled device.

Theme looks nice! Oh, and welcome to the dark side, myTouch that is! Hehe. Anyways, I think the most popular ROM is Cyans thus far. Though, I think the stock ROM is the fastest, problem is it uses odex files and I'm not sure anyone knows how to modify them. If they do, they dont share.
BTW, how'd you get the donut power control widget? I've been trying to figure it out but cant. I know it lies in Settings.apk but everytime I port what I think I need someting else gets messed up!

So you mean that on this theme section they have 2.1 rom themes? Where?
you're right there is a lack of themes around here. but i came across a good one by opasha. its pure sex
I also just finished a port of my Ice Crystals theme for Eclair ROMs
I'm not sure but probably because most people aren't running 2.1 since it's still in test phases right now there aren't a lot of themes the themes are made by people who use the rom and want to make it look better. Most people stick with stable so there's more 1.6 themes than 2.1.

psh hahaha lik hell. i left soggy donuts and started running eclairs since last century. they ****ing kickass
i know the hero builds are built on 1.5 and donut has kind of been focused on more since its release.
but does anybody have a nand hero build complete with nomorootfs, i loved the sense hero port that jamezelle made but i just like the convince of the .Tar file.
if its not something that you dev's are really going to focus on thats ok too, you guys are awesome and im just happy that android has come this far

what if myn put his great skills to a sensui (hero or tattoo) build and got it running almost as speedy as warm donut? now that would be awesome. I'm thinking a tattoo build for native res, plus the new market fix, at warmdonut speeds. that would be amazing.

yes it would but these devs are already working hard. dont think they would have time to build a new rom

ik much love for the devs. I just feel like myns warmdonut is pretty much complete. I feel like a snappy sense build would be a challenge he would love to take on (and quite successfully I'm guessing)

But somehow they have time for customizeable button layouts?
I'm all for a nomorootfs hero build if someone is willing to do the work. If not, I'll be ok too. At this point I'm just glad I was able to get windows mobile off of my phone.

What's wrong with this one?
2.1 Sense FTW.
Hero builds on the vogue have two issues. Firsly the bluetooth doesn't work, because hero frameworks handle BT differently. And secondly the camera doesn't work properly either. You have to use a third party camera app.
I can probably update someone's old version to work, but as far as I can remember the sense build runs about the same speed..
I'll have a look later this week.

I am currently running Super D, and I've been looking at the top two Eclair ROM's and seem very good with all the features they have. I just have two questions. Which one of them is better? Cannon202 or XxKOLOHExX? And does the Nexus One use Eclair? Because I was watching a video of it Youtube and the default background wallpaper was like moving boxes and you could touch the screen and the box would make an animation. Is this possible on the G1 with one of these ROMs? Thanks.

and yeah, nexus uses eclair. The interactive wallpaper is called live wallpapers and the eclair roms have that!
I dont have any experience with those roms, i use open eclair and kings eclair
IMO open eclair is the better of the two, just wait for 2.0 its going to be so SICK
Since u running super D, you might u disappointed with the speed of these eclair roms around. but for speed i recommend XxKOLOHExX version and for stability cannon's and openeclair both are great..

If imnuts gets reboot options squared away ill update the continuum gingerbread theme with them...but its tough to work on themes/mode for devices you don't have
I would consider doing another theme for it but like 10 downloads of the one I did didn't exactly justify doing much else for the time being
lol thats the problem nits chicken and egg syndrome ... nobody flocks to download anything cuz there isnt much to flash
there is only 1 rom out, and its a bit buggy yet.. im actually going to post the bugs in adryns rom thread there today..
my humble opinon is the more there is to flash, the more downloads there will be
i also have reservations downloading for the wife's continuum since there doesnt seem to be a full stock odin to fix a borked install...i saw one that said close to full...

Member of Android Anonymous, as a recovering Android bricking addict. I have been brick free for over 30 days.
Makes sense I suppose....im happy to work on theme stuff for the continuum if people use it...but its matter of is it worth the time....
Make stuff for 10 people on the i400 or a few hundred on the i500...ill see how things go before deciding on making anything else
I will help out with themes for the continuum when the continuum clean gets finished up. I do not have the device to theme on either so I am in the same boat as nitsuj17 as far as testing is concerned.
