i just got myself a Wallaby to experiment with the PPC world and so far have been enjoying it greatly.
the thing is, the Wallaby that i got has crack and scratches and i un really like it. as such i would like to buy a new casing.
i tried doing searches and pm-ing those who sold cases but did not get a reply. i guess the information could have been outdated.
as such i would like to ask if there is any place that i can get an XDA casing. i live in singapore and would thus appreciate a site/person who does international shipping if it is located overseas.
also while we're on the topic of replacement, are there any good sites/members selling other accessories as well?

you can also try contacting the company that repackaged it like mine is from I-Mate, yours may be from O2 you can contact them and they will charge but replace it, I was given a price of $85.00 for them to replace my PDA2K housing and a new battery.

I've bought a dummy from a guy in germany for only 2.99 , hoping to use it as replacement for my damaged one. When i recieve it, i'll post if it al fits.

Treo 680 housing?
Hi, I dont own a treo 750 at the moment but i'm thinking of getting one. Just wanted to ask...I was looking at pics of the treo 750 and the treo 680 and it looks like the button layout is the same (is it actually?) if it is then a treo 680 housing should fit on a treo 750 right? just wanted to know coz the treo 680 comes with all these cool colors

Could you please walk me through how to change the housing? I believe there is an object, maybe dust & dirt between the silver screen and the frame. So I have trouble with the touch scrren alignment. If you could walk me through taking it apart and puting it back together. Pictures would surely help. Thanks
I previously own a treo 680 and traded it with a treo 750. The crystal case i use on my t680 does not fit for a treo 750. The top part is thicker. You have to find a case specifically designed for it.

I've bought a dummy to replace my housing for only $2.99, and i must say, it was very easy to replace it.
Just follow the instructions in this video http://www.youtube.com/v/hlYfI4_P_n4
You can also try to remove the object with a thin piece of plastic, like a teethstick.

Where does one find a "dummy" housing? I'm not enthused about paying $50 on on eBay for something that cost maybe $1 to produce and ship.
750 and 755 housing?
is the 750 housing and 755 housing the same?? the front and back cover? is it compatible if you replace the 750 by the 755 housing? but not including the middle case.. because the 755 middle housing case has no reset button.. i think.. can anyone help?? thanks..

If you want a silver one from the Stellar, I'm more than happy to swap. Much prefer the rubberised back to the one my Stellar.
I think the silver will look a bit odd with my black casing, sorry.

Keeping the case original is about the only thing Orange got right with the Kaiser!
Anyone who bought new housing parts from Ebay and changed already? I'm wondering what quality it is on this low priced parts. Here in Sweden, a battery cover is about $30 compared to what you get on Ebay for that amount, a complete cover (touch screen excluded).
My phone is a year now and has scratches all over. With another year on my contract left i thought I should do a refurbish and also put on a Invisible Shield ( http://www.invisibleskinz.com/ ) for another happy X1 year.

There's also housings for the X1 from www.cnn.cn ; can't speak on the quality for the X1, but I've gotten a few other sony ericsson housings from there - they are decent.

Thanks for the link, had a quick look and they are naming the parts "oem" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) as some sellers on Ebay. Not sure if I can believe that but thanks again, adress is now bookmarked.

i purchased one from ebay, and i will never again unless its oem. very cheap and its not oem. does not fit properly and i actually i had glue something that should have been done. its worth going to cnn.cn and getting the housing for 79.99 other than the 25$ that i spent and actually messed up my x1i.
I stay in Dubai. Have ben trying to get a silicon or resin case for HD2 with no luck. Does any body know where they are sold in Dubai.
Alternatively I am visiting India shortly and if any body can let me know where in Delhi HD2 cases can be bought

I dunno nuttin bout places in Dubai nor India, but usually I buy my phone protection via PDair or ebay or i used to shop at seidio before I got completely enough with their poor quality cases, after endless sending the item back and forth and never get the first shipment correct.
all in all, i would however show you this, well, free shipping, i always recommend this luxury silicone that they sell, better protection than the ordinary ones you get from the market.

Yes I know about these but problem is getting them shipped to Dubai.They donot offer any option of getting the items shipped by courier and normal post will not be very reliable.

Go to Nehru place, there you will find plenty street vendor, they have the silicon case. Rest are junkies. I searched whole South Ex, Gurgaon and Northern region including Chandigarh, but couldn't find a single case for HD2. I had to content with what i got, and it was available at Nehru Place only. So go over there and you would get something.
