Quite the contrary my friend I'm very confident with the prize.Resco makes some of the best software in the world. however I'm not as confident in the category under which I posted this . I want to ensure we get lots of entries and everyone gets a chance to view the post so they may be one of the lucky ones. When I search for the post 20 minutes after I post its 3_4 pages back . Hours later its 15 16 pages back. The Off-topic forum may not be the best place to post this. If you would suggest a better category I will post our next contest there. The more viewers ,themore delopers willing to give away more licenses, the more contest ,happier viewers.

The Off-Topic section is more of the place to talk about things in life outside of the devices, try General instead.
Judging by your current entries, this would be quite simple to win, since their answers were quite vague and short.

This new site I've found is called LifePlat, from what I've gathered, it's basically a modern, better Craigslist.
I've found a few main differences.... it's obviously more colorful than Craigslist , they have an updated feel and the biggest difference is that anyone can post a task which needs to be done, and people bid on it. The poster chooses 1 person to complete the task. We've all used Craigslist and we all know how annoying it is to get a million e-mails from people with their resumes.... On this site people just post bids right on the site, and the user chooses 1 person.
It also says that they're soon implementing video embedding, so the poster can actually post a video for potential clients to watch. Also, another feature coming soon is that when you create a post, you can choose to designate a pin point on the map for users to search and find your post through pining a world map.
It all seems really cool to me, I just found it and figured I'd spread the word to all of you!

Well I am looking for someone that would be willing to work for one of my sites.
The site is new, and I just made it last night after being bored.
The site is a general phone site, so can talk about any phone news, which means your job is really easy.
All you do is:
Find 10 interesting news anywhere in the web about phones( I like smartphones more than dumb phones, but either works)
Write about it.. with good English and grammar.
Post it or schedule it to post the next day 1 hour apart.
This job isn't hard, and you will get paid for it. And if your good enough, you will either get a raise or I will find a bigger higher paying site for you, but only if you work hard.
What are the benefits of being an editor. Well you get to review phones(right now, I have the Palm Pre, Pixi, Motorola Droid, Devour and more. all to review). you get free things(right now I have the Jabra Stone, and Jabra Halo).
You can have all that if you work hard enough, and this job doesnt require much.

A couple qualifying questions...is this US-based equipment? How do you anticipate to have the editor experience the technology first hand so they can write about it. I'm sure that you don't want someone to write about things second-hand. I mention this because you cannot steal photos and stories from others without subscribing to their site or network.

Which is the same thing, you should not be stealing stories from other sites or write about news second hand. You've got to be able to put up stories that don't exist elsewhere, especially in the digital world today. What you need is underground sources that can feed information to your "editors" to put out stories. The only way to take second-hand information, from stories that already exist on the web, and use them to your advantage is to aim your site at a specific section of the market. Even then, you need permission to run the story and pictures.
A perfect example is Tmonews.com. They take stories and just publish the ones that are relevant to T-Mobile users. A generic phone site won't catch on.
I DO, however, have an idea that will catch on because I'm not seeing it elsewhere right now and it would be the perfect time to market the site. PM me if what I say makes sense and you're interested.
I am not quite sure what your saying because all the sites do that.. its not called stealing unless you dont link back to them.... Engadget is the biggest example alot of their news are from other sites.. so they just link to them and use the news.

I'm not a news follower but rather a tweaker/tester kind of guy. I share my discoveries with the rest of the world with nice tutorials.
If you need someone to write easy-to-follow guides or to review phones (I tried every platform but WebOS and Nokia's), then I'm your man. You can see samples of what I write on my blog (blog.nicolasbouliane.com).
UPDATE: By the way, you won't get many visitors with copypasta since most people refer to a single site for these news (generally Gizmodo) and won't like reading the same stuff a day later on another blog. A simple description with a referal (à-la Lifehacker) will do the job for anything that's not original content. You should instead try getting visits from Googlers looking for a specific topic.
I would be very interested in this type of position. Where would I need to submit a sample of my work? FYI, hiring a woman with tech knowledge is very chic these days

well engadget, cnet, == iphone bias and I know when I read a phone review site I get tired of those biases personally
taking a look at mobileblab I think it has potential but that's just my opinion of course...gotta start somewhere

Very true, but that was the same question that was answered when Engadget and Mobilecrunch linked stories to my other site....
Engadget doesnt post as much news as my other site does.. and ya, thats why I have a regular reader base, because the readers know this.

I hate Apple and I've never seen that bias before.
Cnet, just watch their comperison videos.. Iphone never losses.. but not much Engadget.. but Gizmodo does.
Ok. here's my story.
3 weeks ago, i made a funny fb page. i had 12k likes. then, about a week ago i found out some person copied my page (same title, picture etc) and he too has 12k likes.
he kept on spamming my wall etc.
then after a while, i somehow started talking to him. he added me on fb as a friend, we started talking on chat. i realised he had on ly 1 friend (me)
so i asked him why, he said he has 2 accounts, 1 for pages, 1 private.
then we discussed and he told me, that we could merge our pages together to get 24k likes but he needed to email fb.
then we talked and agreed to make each other admin for each others page. so he gave me an email which was quite weird.. (he told me don't give out real emails to ppl coz they spam you.) i made him admin, then the next thing, ihe kicked me (and other mods) out of my page!!!
so he owns my page and his fake one now. then he quickly deleted his fake account aswell.
BUT
The silly fool, used his real FULL NAME for his fake account. So i simply searched his name and found his real account. He also left all his info exposed, where he lives, his REAL EMAIL etc.
So i have his information, what can i do? Can i report him and his fb will get deleted? It annoys me how he controls my page now :/
If any one wants to help me, feel free to ask me (i'll make you admin of my other pages!)
I also want to email his real email and abuse him and stuff, but he has my real email (But so far no messages from him, hopefully he forgot it..)
SO, can anyone advise me???????

Contact facebook support. If your communication was through facebook messages, the support stuff (With permission from you) perhaps can look at those messages and see that you are speaking the truth.
If that is not the case, I hope that you have some other proof of you being the original creator of the content (because otherwise that other guy will claim you were the one to steal content).

well.. F64 is an foto/video online shop and now and now celebrates 10 years.
With this ocasion, they change the location in a bigger place and made an contest.
Anyone can make 3 pics in their new location and send them to the contest. The only thing I had to take into account was creativity... i hope u get it
