Hi guys, I'd like to know if is it possible to change the Clock Numbers Font of PDAViet ROM's for the one like Touch IT.

wow this version is a major improvement. much faster. i recomend it the most out of the wing roms i've tried, it's the best optimized. no bugs found yet. the only thing i don't like is that touchflo is mapped to one of the soft keys... but i can change that :]

i'm really new at smartphones and i decided to get me a T-Mobile Wing and i'll actually go buy it tomorrow, as i've done some research on this site i'm plannin on installight TouchFLO on it but i'm not exactly sure as to how it works and as my 1st phone i dont wonna messi it up from the 1st time. Does installing this package act like installing a different OS on a computer or just a deeper way to install programs ? I have a pretty good computer knowledge but i'm VERY new when it comes to Smartphones. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums. Hopefully you'll see that Windows Mobile phones are useful and fun, especially when you flash and reflash. It gets kind of addicting. The TouchFlo is software that allows you to use your fingers to control the movement on you screen much like the multi-touch does for the iPhone. When you flash new software to your phone, you are changing the operating system of the phone (in your case the Wing), but it's nothing major (say like upgrading XP to Vista) because the WIng has Windows Mobile 6 on it already. All you're doing is adding functionality to it.
Please be careful when flashing though. Read and Follow all the instructions carefully before you attempt anything. Also if you have questions I would advise you to search the forums before asking. Most of the time you won't be the first or only person to come across a problem, and the answer will most likely have been provided.

Hi, I am pretty new to this PPC phone area and I managed to install the touchflo on my wing correctly yesterday. Very nice OS but there is only one thing I can not use the proxy I was using before to use T-mobile web to connect to the internet. Does someone know how to correct this issue? thanks...

Hi,
I also, notice that this rom as with other PDAVIET roms runs better with an 8MB page file. The touchflo opens and moves smoother when you swip the screen.
This is just my two cents.

i have one question. sorry if this is a stupid question but after installing this i can not find any adobe reader and when i tried to download it from the web, the applications doesn't work and also adobe LE 2.5 seems to be commercial. any suggestion?

Thanks ttran001, I checked this and as I said earlier I dont know for some reason when i try to install it gives the following error: "not a valid pocket pc application". any ideas? by the way my device is wing.

Hi,
I down loaded the following file from the adobe site.
AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu.exe
And installed it on my wing without issues.

can some one upload the part1 file...of this pdaviet rom...or...ROM v4.17.07.15 PDAVIET (TouchFLO)

*6/4* New HTC Diamond Software.

I know that some of this has already been released in other locations on this site by other members. I do not take any credit for their applications. These are just a couple of Apps ripped from the Diamond roms and made in to .cab format for a few people to enjoy.
Once again, I know that some of this has already been released by other XDA members. These .cab's were made by myself from some OEM packages.
I have tested all of them using L26 Diamond V5 rom. The only one I am having trouble with is the Large Title Bar.cab. BTW, I am running a Tilt on AT&T network.
I take no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to installation of these apps. Install at your own risk.

1. HTC Diamond Audio Booster<<This one keeps asking for me to plug in a headset. I only have a pair of bluetooth headphones so I can't verify that this one is fully functional.

I think it has been released already. I'm still working on my version though with QVGA support. I'll post it when I finish it.

Ok, it has been released already by XDA member fultotop. I installed it and it works fine. It is already QVGA. The only issue is that you cannot rotate and zoom like in my Tilt's existing HTC Album. Therefore I uninstalled it but I can say that it does work in non-Diamond port roms and Diamond ported roms. I will abort my efforts since you do not have the ability to rotate image orientation. Also, it's a bigger file than the Diamond keyboard cab. All that being said, here it is.

I keep getting an error with the Large Title bar installation, it refuses to install and repeatadly asks me to try to install the app in a different location. I'm trying to install it on the device. The previous version I tried from the Development section had the same issue.
With the Audio booster cab I cant seem to turn on the equalizers. THis is strange as the Diamond and Kaiser use the same DSP, since this must be a hardware equalizer it should work.

1. I get the same error with any rom I try. Still looking in to it. I let it go here to see if someone might be able to figure it out.
2. I don't have any wired headsets, only bluetooth, so I can't test this one. I noticed it did load but it asked me to plug in my headset. Sorry. I also released it because if it's not working, I figured some of the great minds in here might be able to figure it out.

Thanks for reminding me about that thread. I've been stuck making cabs in the Spb Mobile Shell2.1 themes thread and never really checked any of the other threads.

The funny thing is that the Diamond cab probably does the exact same thing as the Large Title bar cab you posted and we have had floating around for a while now. BTW, long time no see.

No, the large start menu inscreases the font of the start menu like that from the cruise and the Dual, but also increases font size of the menu items. The Enlarge Title bar should enlarge items in the top title bar, its similar to the enlarge titile bar on the Cruise and the Dual except I think its got a new icons from the screen shots posted up.

Yes, I think so. I've seen it, along with HTC Camera 5.0.4, in some of the Diamond cooked ROM specs. I guess I'm wondering if these apps are available on their own.

Yes, you're right. It should have been easy. BUT, I didn't look in the 'General' area, I only looked in the 'Software' area because I thought that would be the likely place. A deep thinker I am not.

I have a little problem with the new album, it won't let me rotate the pictures. Is there a different gesture I need to do to rotate them? Am I the only person having this problem?

Just started playing with this too. Cannot rotate either. I also can't run a slideshow. The screen goes black and I have to turn the TyTN off and on to get the screen back. In addition, moving through the pictures is very cumbersome; not a smooth process at all.
All in all, not nearly as nice as the older version I used prior to updating to the 6.1 ROM.

Well if you read in Nadavi tread you might understand why. I had some problems whit cooking cause of this. Thats why I remember. Go grab the propper one.

I just downloaded and installed version HTC.Album.1.0.1030.720. MUCH BETTER! Everything is smoother, rotating works, slide show works!
I'm not absolutely convinced I want to install Nadavi_HTC_Camera_5_0_4_2915_00_NEW_HTC_FIX. For my purposes the current Camera (4.08 Build 30595) is OK. OPINIONS???? However, I'd really like the camera 'Album' button to go to HTC Album. Isn't there a registry tweak that could accomplish this?
***EDIT*** Did some searches re: the Album button. I guess there is not a simple registry edit. I might have to install the Nadavi Camera.

What I noticed with these new diamond version is that it does not play the videos at all. You can press on it all day and will not do anything, but when you press on the pictures it brings it up quickly.
I am currently running Hyperdragon's III diamond rom which is very fast and I am using htc album 1.0.1030.720 which also works pretty nice except when in portrait mode and scrolling through my pictures and I get more than halfway through the selection box for the pictures is off by a whole row...so if the box is on a picture it would be on top of the picture on the row below it. Neone know if there was a fix for it...i've been searching and can't find anything yet.

Stock Quote Tab for Raphael

I have Fuze and I really would like to have the stock quote tab like HTC Touch HD has. Is there any cab out there that can enable those?
One other thing, the EnableAutoDetect in [hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\internet settings\enableautodetect] sometimes still show up even though I have deleted it over and over again.

Have you contacted customer care to add it to your plan? its basically just a free provisioning, but it is required for that feature and now available for our tp2

T-Mobile replaced the default weather animation wallpaper with some other junk, so this ROM is missing the animated weather, but I am sure someone will find a fix for it soon enough.

I think all you need to do is to disable the TMO's wallpaper and use the default one (settings -> set wallpaper -> "use default?" "YES" and it should work...

nah they set their crap wallpaper as the default, so what we need is the name of the default wallpaper in an untouched ROM. or the file that is used.

I just used a HD walls cab and made 2 reg edits.
HKCU/software/htc/manila/
delete the value for CashedBackgroundPath and HomeBackgroundPath.
That should work!

Dude, you rock! Sure did work. Animations are BACK! =) Thanx.

ncie work! I didn't even use the HDwalls cab, I just deleted the entries in those regkeys and without even a reboot I went to the Home tab to find animated weather. Someone should cab this up and post it in the useful tweaks thread
mo RAM useage on a fresh boot was 45%, and it is still 45% with animated weather enabled...

Man the TP2 forum is a breath of fresh air compared to the Dream forum. Its full of a bunch of complainers and whiners which I haven't seen here at all. I just switched to the TP2 after having a G1 for a year. I love android but the hardware was getting pretty stale. I decided to give the TP2 a try.
I'm just trying to learn WM after a year android. Its a whole new language!

Do you mind helping me out I'm confused how do I do this change? I'm a complete noob to WM. Do I use total commander to change this? I also had a G1 before this phone and I'm still trying to learn as much as possible about changes I can do.

I find PHM Reg Editor to be a little more noob friendly than total commander

Open PHM and open HKEY_Current_User (HKCU for short)
Follow through the subfolders I mentioned above
Highlight Manila
It will list a bunch of keys. Choose CachedBackgroundPath and delete the value data.
Do the same for HomeBackgroundPath.
Once you close PHM you should see the animations on your home tab.

This has not worked for me, Ive called TMobile 3 times, had them add, remove, re-add, re-remove VVM service (official for TP2) and it STILL refuses!!! Anyone have a link to the guaranteed working .cab file that will work with custom ROMs?
