Can someone tell me what the default registry value should be?
I think it is 60 but I want to make sure.

There occured some problems after doing this registry change, please read posts below.
Ok Guys and Girls,
Because noone could help me with my questiong on howto keep the Registry settings for Hiding Sim Contacts, I searched the registry myself.
After some hours of Try&Error i found the registry entry for flushing the registry on Power off and Soft Reset.
This will help a lot
1. Go into Registry with Resco or other regedit tool
2. Find Entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ObjectStore\Regflush
3. Change Value "ActivityThreshold" from "1" to "0"
Thats it. Have fun
Please test it and post here. If it does work for all, then please write it into the Diamond Tweak list.

I don't want to offend you, but you could have saved those hours by just making sure you search / read my articles as is also mentioned in the sticky thread. I've explained the meaning of the value at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/old_blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=898&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 .
"ActivityThreshold specifies the # of reg activity before we force a flush; [FlushPeriod:] Timeout period for a flush (flush occurs if there have been some changes during this period)... These settings cause the registry to flush when there are 256 changes or any changes within a second(which is probably too often.)"
Nevertheless, nice to know the Diamond comes with the default value of 0 and this is why it doesn't necessarily flush back changes to the flash storage. Very few (if any) models come with this setting.
Use this with caution!!! I have problems with my registry now!

As you mentioned the value 0 is possible but now I cant change any registry entries. What do you think happend?
Maybe you can help out. What would be the best value to set?
Maybe people where the Registry is not being flushed can look at the value of ActivityThreshold and tell us.

aff u ****ed up my device to xDDD, anyone knows how to fix this?
omg phone not working and i cant even make a hard reset or flash another rom cos it acts like a disk drive and if i change to activesync it gets changed again to disk drive after some seconds :S
I did a Hard Reset and installed my apps again.
So I think there is no other way mate No Risk No Fun *GGG*

yes did the same xD.Well time to flash new bepe's rom and configure it all again.

I want to write a script doing something IF there is a missed call. But i dont know where this is saved. Perhaps in registry? If in registry a value changes every time we have a missed call, and anyone knows it, please tell me.

I recently flashed a new ROM to my diamond and the camera image counter (the automatic naming of the images) reset to 1
Is there a registry key where that number is stored, so i can change it back to the old value(600) ?

change the number to what you want the next imagename to use.
It didn't work
I changed NEXTFILENAME key from IMAGE_005 to IMAGE_700, but the next image I take is IMAGE_005, and the key changed back
I even tried to change the key then soft-reset but same thing happened.
Doesn't anyone have another ideea? This should be easy.
I really need this because I take alot of photos and I can't organise them anymore.
isnt it in the settings for the camera? pretty sure i have seen it there....

I found this posting before but because byte 68 and 69 are zero I thought this post did not cover my device.
Now I looked a little deeper and found byte 109 and 110 which are the right ones for my Touch Pro2. And it works!
I think that when I set up my phone, I accidently said that I didn't want Automatic Daylight Saving Change to operate. But I do!
Unfortunately, having searched, I cannot find the place to set it
- maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.
Assuming it has gone because of my 'mis-set', I want to change the setting but cannot find a registry setting that will allow me to reset this.
Can you help, either way?
try one of the config-tools available... for me I found it in sktools

Problem is that I don't know and can't find which reg setting (I am guessing you meant to use that) is needed. If it isn't a reg setting and something else through SK Tools then I need to know what.

a little impatient? did you do some searching on your own?
I don't know if it helps, but try the following settings and report back
\HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall\AttenuationCategory
Default: 2, set to 1 (maybe even 0)
\HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall\InitVol
Default: 3, set to 10
maybe you have to change InCall2 and InCall3 as well, give it a try if the above doesn't help
