AVRCP Music Player - G1 Apps and Games

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew the best music player out there that supported the AVRCP profile. It seems like the stock music player doesn't support it. My Pioneer radio has buttons that should allow me to control the music from my phone from those buttons, but it doesn't work. I remember that it worked with RockOn, but it has been REALLY slow lately.
Any other recommendations?
Thanks.

[Q] BT stereo headphones do not control HTC Music Player but WMP instead

Hi!
I'm using Motorola S9 stereo headphones with my TD2 with Sense 6.5.x Energy ROM. I can play music ok from the HTC Sense Music Player, but the buttons on the headphones control WMP and not the HTC player. I read through quite a few threads about this or a similar problem but am not really sure which solution to try, because users are usually trying to control some other app like Core player or Pocket player with the headphones. I would just like to control the built in HTC player instead of WMP.
Thanks!

[Q] How to stop mic button from starting media player?

I did several searches, but was unable to find an answer to this. I hope one of you can enlighten me
I recently installed the "Listen" app to listen to podcasts. When i plug in the stock headphones that come with the Captivate and then click the mic button on it, it will bring up & control the media player playback instead of Listen. Is there a way to configure the behavior of this button? Is there a way to keep it from bringing up the Media Player app and instead control the Listen app?
Thanks!
I've been having the same issue. I installed winamp, but I get the same thing.
I installed doubleTwist, and it looks like it properly takes over button so that the stock music player app is no longer launched. Does this mean Listen is not doing it right?

[Q] AVRCP 1.3 Google Music Beta CyaogenMod 7

Recently the CyanogenMod Nightly builds have implemented AVRCP 1.3. This allows for the currently playing song/tracks id3 tags or metadata to be displayed on my car media center. This only works when I use the stock CyanogenMod music player. I would like to know if it is possible for me to use the Google Music player and still be able to stream the track info to my cars bluetooth. I've tried, and it doesn't work. I've found comments from other users saying they have found success but I seem to be having trouble. How do I go about getting this to work?

Any music player should play via whatever the current audio output method is, which would be via bluetooth A2DP if it's connected. Pretty much the only application that will supply the track data however is the stock CM7 player or the bog-standard AOSP-based Android music player. Neither Google music or virtually any other application supports it as until recently the "standard" BlueZ stack didn't support AVRCP v1.3.
Later beta versions of Google Music may support the feature, but the older ones certainly didn't seem to.
