l3v5y Rhodium 6.5 anyone?

Hi,
Due to the success of my Topaz ROM, I've been thinking about a Rhodium 6.5 ROM. Now, obviously I don't have a device, so that could make things awkward, but I don't have a Topaz either!
Anyone interested?

i am interested in any new ROM and i ll test it

Any special requests?
I will probably have multilingual ROMs as well (GER, FRA, ESN, ITA are the first few I've got).

I'm looking for a Dutch lite, super-fast, and stable ROM. Is that your idea? If you can make a ROM witch the things I described, I don't mention and install it straight away

german rom would be great!
prefereences: fast, stable, good applications

a wm 6.5 kitchen would be great!

I'm in... happy to test any rom.

WWE Rom with WM 6.5 based on the Energy Rom (Raphael) would be nice.

Yes please... Your Energy ROM on my Diamond is a beauty... the Windows 7 animation on startup is awesome
So please consider a ROM for our new Rhodiums

Would be nice to see you here buddy, I loved your roms on my HD, but your HD broke before I got to try your 6.5. My bro uses your 6.5 on the diamond and loves it.
Get yourself over here, have you got a Rhodium yet? If not... Get one, good phone, and get some cooking done, might fine chef!

[request] a Dutch (NL) WM6.5 rom with Dutch (NL)manilla/TF3D

Hi there,
Is it possible to make a custom rom witch windows mobile 6.5 and the latres touch flo3D (let's say touch pro2) wich is completely in dutch?
I know there's WM6.5 available in Dutch but i don't know it of touchflo3D

if there is, i would like to havee it, unfortunately, i do not know how to cook and my ADHD prevents me from learning so.
I could translate if you can find someone who can give me the files for touchFlo!

i installed it it boots ten the scrren goes black no mor activity after that.
this is first boot after the flash.

Manila 2.5 from Leo test ROM, don't think it's available in Dutch yet. So for now the Manila 2.1 from latest official Dutch Rhodium will have to make due.

No it isn't available. I was also looking for it to give it some tests

greetings dear friends, i just wanted to make this request that some of our talanted cooks may provide a 6.1 rom with manila 2.5, dont know if it is possible? but it would be very nice and i am sure many would find this to be a great rom to use on their device?
anyhow, i would like this, since some of my must have apps dont function very good on winmo 6.5, but i love the new manila 2.5, so a mix of the best from both worlds would be great

Not sure this is possible due to incompatibility issues. I believe manila 2.5 uses new WinMo 6.5 Features

I already tried, but I can't get it working, Manila will not start up. Some Leo packages do start up but look really messy. I do not have the latest Leo Packages (like Miri and Dutty do) and have no idea where to get them so I can't say anything about the later versions.

That depends... Both Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 are quite stable (talking about 23016 not the 23022+ branch) and both have their own native versions of Manila. However Manila 2.5 is still in beta (rather say alpha) and not as stable as Manila 2.1. But, although Manila 2.1 is writen for Windows Mobile 6.1, Manila 2.1 is rather easy to get working on Windows Mobile 6.5 (not supporting any of the new functions though).
So you will find WinMo 6.5 ROMs containing Manila 2.1 as well as ROMs containing 2.5. In the WinMo 6.1 branch you will find only ROMs using Manila 2.1 and some Leo (Manila 2.5) Packages (keyboard and stuff, but mostly just Topaz and Rhodium Packages).

ok, so probably its not possible, its just i use some older programs that always hang or just exit when using winmo 6.5, so i need 6.1 for now i guess... would be nice tho with some upgrade for 6.1 ..... getting tired of manila...(2.0-1)

Maybe we can do a test and see...I don't have much time right now, but if you can give me a link where to download a WM 6.1 SYS/XIP, I can try it.
In theory it should work.

Oh the problem for me is as i said in many post the wm6.5 top and bottom bar sometime transparent sometime not (black in application, transparent in home screen but sometime when u go back to home screen from application the top bar is still black) + the popup menu is very ugly especially when u try to pop it out in lanscape ^^

WM 6.1 with MANILA 2.5??????

I know you posted the files for Miri, but I downloaded them too (I don't have 21052, still working with 21048). I can't help wondering, isn't this package for 240x320? Since the package contains only DPI96 and ResH 240 / ResV 320.
Also I want to help out too, since I already gave it a spin this afternoon. Not sure if I can be of much help, but if you have a question or you need someone to test anything drop me a PM.

Thanks, I imported them to my kitchen, but so far no luck. At first I just changed the SYS and XIP from 23016 to 21052, however this leaves the ROM completely unbootable (too many modules for starter). I started from scratch and had some luck booting the ROM, but mostly when I added Manila 2.5 the ROM won't boot.
For tonight I must give it a rest it's now 12:00 PM (or 0:00 as we display time) will try tomorrow some more!

[Request] a Swedish (SE) WM6.5 rom with Dutch (SE)manilla/TF3D

Hi!
I would like this to become a reality in a near future.
Is there anyone hwo's about to **** up a custom rom with this combo yet?
Just curious.

I know smaberg was going to cook a swedish rom with SWEDISH manila but i havnt heard anymore of that.
I think there is a lot of swedes here that would be glad if a swedish rom was made .

I agree with you

Dunno about WM but you can always change your manila language with no problems. If you want Dutch change the 'curlang' value in the registry to 1043.

Something's not right with the topic!
When I copied the other "reqest thead" i forgot to change the "dutch" with Swedish.
I think you all know what I ment by the way

yes that was the last one i flashed, its a nice ROM, but there are just that standart apps, i like ROMs with a larger software Package preinstalled, so i dont need much too do... and its a bit slow i think, compared too other 6.5 ROMs...
maybe some more suggestions?

Well, that´s quite a point there, no?
The only other one I tried myself was this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531137
Problem is, there are not many German ROM´s out there. If you do not insist on the "experimental" WinMo builds, but can accept the start menu at the top, then I would say Touch IT Multilanguage v2 is the best - but then again, not that much software on board.
Or, if you accept to have just Manila in German, but WinMo and other s/w in English, you can easily change the language of Manila to German - this way, the main interface will be in German, the rest not.

yes i tried that too, but in the latest builds dont have manilla, so they´re not really interesting for me...

i really like that EnergyROM... and with ger Manilla its really cool and you get a lot of nice apps on board...
