Simply Red - rlToday Theme

decided I'd post my first rlToday theme. I was watching the dark knight the other night and noticed morgan freemans phone had a nice interface and thought I'd make one like it.
couple of things with it thought, I'm not sure how to get the mail to open up to my gmail and outlook seperately or show the unread emails from the seperate accounts, if I could get some help there that be cool.
also, not the best at photoshop so instead of icons I just used text. if anyone knows where I can get some icons that are just white outlines of icons that would be super as well.
doesn't include a background image so you can use any you want

these are awesome, thanks!!
I might add some kind of glow effect to them, as I was just looking at the blackberry gold icons and they look alot like these but somehow shinier.

i just realized theres no time :O
now thats what someone would call simple

I found that I rarely ever look at the time on the today screen cuz mostly I just look at it on the s2u2 screen.
and I made your awesome icons glow-y

i wouldve gone with neon green. though.

I second that. Really unique.

i REALLY like the launcher. hate the huge Hero clocks though. those are the most annoying, though, it dosnt matter because everyone has their choice widgets anyways lol.
cant wait to see more screens!
edit: love the "bubbly" look on the notification bar icons as well.

the only thing that i think would be hard to work out is in the notification drop down, the standard color for the button would make it hard to read since the default text throughout android is black. other then that it looks amazing and highly doable.

I've been secretly learning and making themes for myself for a while now. I'll take on the project. PM me the details and lets get this thing going!!!

Eclair dialer added!

I know someone else is already working on a theme and it looks good so far but I wanted a crack at it too. Unfortunately I work at the speed of light going backwards and have a really short attention span most of the time. So far all I've got is a slight variation on the tray but it works. If anyone wants it I used the latest CyanogenMod Launcher for this so it should be fine with most Donut based builds.

Nice I like the theme that's came out of this but I'd spent a little time doing some of the notification icons so I pushed them in. Here's a few. They're all part of the framework-res.apk file.

Yep DK17, I can give you the 3g icons but you will have to modify the apk it goes in yourself as I do not have time at the moment to put just the 3g icons in an update.zip. sorry.
Update: Got most of the icons done and the "Superheroes" shut down animation done, now it' time for bed. Yawn...

I design all of my own icons, and thank you very much.

Still working on this? I've already flashed Superheroes Vendetta, but would much ratehr have this cool status bar to go with any theme i chose.

Freakin sweet! I'm gonna have to apply those in some way in the future.

I love this theme. I hope you are still supporting it. Is there any chance to get a 4g icon that is as nice as the 3g icon for both the 3g/4g Chooser and one that is blue instead of green like the 3g and wifi icons. It would be great if the clock could be in the same blue instead of white.

Was gonna say the same thing, I have a rooted D2G with CM7 and thought motoblur would be a nice touch to make it seem more homey haha I put sense themes on my HTC Dinc, I'm just weird like that, I guess. I will try contacting the OP through PM though and see if he could reupload though, I would really like to try it, it looks great!!
