I guess you mean the replacement batteries with 3000-3500 mAh, in that case: yes the official power pack is better! If you do a little search on ebay batteries with hughe figures on the lable here or elsewhere, you will soon learn that those batteries do not keep what they promise!
really
so that capacity for replacment batteries not tru

Unfortunately not! If it was, I would own one myself!
Here is a current example of an unsatisfied buyer:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10857852&postcount=54
But i see some buyer say that's 3000 good battery and better than 3500.
They just dont like heavy and ugly look for sgs after that.
Whats ur advise for me, take power pack or battery replacement.
Because am going to buy 1 of them.
Hi all, anyone tried these;
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1900mAh-...Accessories&hash=item3a6aadd5bc#ht_5871wt_922
?
Are they anywhere near as good as they sound?
Want to know too..
Yesterday I ordered Antutu 1980 (with mixed review)..
We, android user, always long for bigger battery..
anyone got one of these? I'd like to get one myself, but Im waiting for feedback first
hey. i now have a optimus 2x, but i tried this 'brand' battery on my xperia x10. there just a 1500ma battery re stickered. if you want huge battery life get the huge 3200ma with the extended battery cover off ebay. its pretty bulky though...

Well, that battery performs more or lese like the stock one. I can barely get one day out of it.
No point spending money on "good" batteries.. Buy $2.80 ones and switch regularly.

Hi Sckank, thanks for the update. So, it's simpler and cheaper to buy another stock battery or an external battery pack that you can use to charge other devices.
Again, thanks. Anil.
Don't really c the point of buying a new battery..
Works decent..if it gets discharged, almost everyone has a mini usb to usb cable and while travelling, just get a belkin ac to dc converter..i think it has two sockets and a usb port..connects to the 12v cigarette lighter outlet in the car.. n doesn't hurt the car's battery as long as its connected when the engine is running or the car battery is fully charged..

Hey Guys,
I recently received an Amazon giftcard and since I'm in need of an extended battery for my Xperia Play I thought on spending it on that.
Did you purchase a battery on Amazon.com? Links would be appreciated!
I myself bought a GTMax battery (1780 mAh). It's OK but I need something more longer lasting...

So I found this battery on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/SkyTouch-Exte...EI/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1328834300&sr=8-13
It's a nice price and about right mAh capacity. Just wondering if it's good? The picture is apprently displaying a Photon? haha
Or maybe this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Aftermarket-P..._14?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1328834560&sr=1-14
I really want this one actually (there's a thread saying that this is a really nice battery)
Thanks!

How's your added thickness by the way?
Is it good? Can it fit inside your jeans pocket?
Can anyone confirm for me whether or not the 3600mah batteries will work with the Sony dock (DK300)? As in, does the phone actually fit on the dock with the extended backplate in place? I love my dock and don't want to quit using it, but I'd really like some extended battery life on this phone as well, as stock battery tends to drain quite fast when gaming.
Thanks!

Hello,
The battery on my ace has swollen and basically not working without being plugged to the charger, so I need to buy a new battery.
But I really don't know which battery should I get, because there are many. Also, I am afraid to buy non-genuine replacement batteries, unless you guys will tell me about some good non-genuine ones ,because I heard that a man in china died after a cellphone battery exploded on him!
So far I found this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PolarCell-Akku-Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-Gio-EB494358VU-GT-S5830-GT-S5660-Accu-/370602359890?pt=DE_Handy_PDA_Akkus&hash=item56499f3c52, but if you have links to batteries you know are good, and safe, and that aren't going to explode in my face, please tell me
Or if you find a battery that is really genuine (I already bought something labeled as "genuine" which was not, but maybe you know of a seller with real genuine battery)
Thanks!
my friend i would suggest that you should opt only stock battery cos i have seen many batteries which display capacity like 3500 mah and even above but doesnt work as described so go for new stock battery
and about your battery swollen replace immediately if you dont want a swollen face
HIT THNAKS COS WE HELP YOU
haha
Hey guys! I searched the forums and couldnt find anything on an extended battery that is oem size. Searching online only yielded results such as the zerolemon battery which is HUGE. There are a few on ebay but from what I read, those batteries do not contain the NFC feature. It wouldn't matter to me much as I do not ever use it. Is there any batteries that you guys recommend that contains more juice than stock but is the same size?

Sadly there is no such thing.
You'll find plenty that claim "Billions of mAh!!!" but it's usually the same as stock or even less mAh. If you want a good quality spare battery, look around for Anker's. Best bang for the buck.

Thanks for the advice! My wife got the smart dock and she got me a dock that has a spare battery charger integrated but I had to find a spare battery and couldnt decide which to get. There is a ton on ebay and amazon that claimed they have 4300mah or even 4800mah like you said.
I haven't had a spare battery since the HD2 haha The note 2's battery life is already great as is, but a spare wouldnt be bad either for those extra long days running around town and not able to have the phone sit and charge.
Would you recommend the ankler battery over an oem battery? I don't mind the price so much as I want a battery that actually holds a charge and lasts awhile.

I'd say they're just as good at less than OEM prices.
